Once the mechanics arrived and opened the doors, they quickly evaluated my wife's car. The tension in the situation was relieved when the concern was identified and its severity reduced. We cleared the EVAP system error code, and my wife continued her journey home. There were some complications with administering compensation for the services, but we worked them out.

So my I sent a male friend in to the shop and he was given an approx. Price of 240 for the labor for the replacing of my alternator. So I get my part and take it in. Now it was the wrong part so we had to find a replacement. Now they could tell the part I brought didnt work without putting it on. So no additional labor. Now they tell me that they can get a part, the first part was going to be $200 but that one didnt work so they had to get another and the second one ended up being 150. Now they told me that the price of going to get the part was included. Now Im not sure if bc they had to go get the part or what happened. But after he told me this I asked the clerk okay how much am I up to with the part now she said 400 and something. I SAID OKAY. Now bc I had to replace the alternator I had to go get my battery and take it and get another bring it back to the shop for them to complete the job. Now when they ring everything up it an extra 100 bring total to over 500. Now to some that might not be nothing but I budget down to the penny so to say I was upset was an understatement. Same as below was that they changed the price on me a lot. Upon hearing things from other mechanics it sounds like I was severely overcharged. The customer service I had with the owner was great, so it's unfortunate for the other stuff. Apparently my cap for my antifreeze was also not placed on all the way and it came off and spilled all over my engine which caused it to almost overheat today. If you're getting basic stuff it's fine, but just know your stuff and check their work.
