We destroyed a tire and rim on our 5th wheel toy hauler about 30 miles west of this location. Found them on Google and called them. Absolutely outstanding service from the first minute. Asked the right questions, told us that they had the correct replacements in stock, and told us to get there safely. These guys are the real deal. They fit up the rim to make sure, then mounted the tire and we were out of there in under an hour. Price was exactly as I hoped. Super nice guys, I really appreciate everything they did. They disposed of the old stuff, remounted the spare and did a great job. I highly recommend this shop! Thanks! read more

Carlin Tire Center - They got us back on the road after this rim broke - Tires Near Me - Carlin, Nevada

After our second flat on our fifth wheel in under 30 miles I was searching for roadside service on I-80. Carlin tire was open on Sunday and sent someone out quickly. We ended up having them replace three tires (the two flats plus the last remaining original tire) and the guys worked quickly to get us back on the road. Since we were close to town they came out and took the rims back to the shop to mount the new tires and brought them back out to install. I also didn't feel that the call out/labor charges were that bad. read more

We had a blow out on the freeway in our UHaul truck while moving across country. Had to contact Roadside assistance and they sent Dustin from Carlin Tire. Showed up in far less time than estimated, jumped right in and had us going in a very short time! He was very good at his job as well, having been around the car business all my life it gave me great comfort to watch him check and double check his work before letting us head off again. Very impressive! THANKS!! read more

Warning! Don't go here! We had a flat on a semi one time, he said it would be $50 for a spare at the time, when we got there he adjusted the price to $550.00 after he took off the valve stem and vacated the tire without written repair Oder! Crook! Someone needs to report this on automotive bureau of repair. read more

We were traveling west on 80 and hit something in a rental car. No one would commit to a quick repair. Called Carlin Tire Center and they worked us right in, got us on the road again quickly. Thanks from Northern Michigan. read more

Had a slow leak in one of my tires on a Saturday at noon. I was told that it would be a minimum of $250 to patch the tire. The guy just sounded like a dishonest asshole so I added some air and took off down the road. I'm sure glad I did after reading the other reviews!! read more

We had a flat tire on our mid sized SUV a few weeks ago while we were exploring the gravel road between Crescent Valley and Carlin. After changing to the spare tire (donut tire), we limped the vehicle in to Carlin Tire. We were greeted by Kevin, and we told him we needed a tire patch since the hole was in the center of the tread. Kevin wanted to know what size tires we had and then proceeded to tell us that he didn't have the tire(s) in stock AND that he couldn't help us. He didn't even look at the flat tire before saying he couldn't help us. He really wanted to sell us a new tire or pair. What an arrogant and rude a-hole. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. Avoid this business at all cost. read more

We got a flat tire on our uhaul trailer driving across Nevada on 80. I felt like we were in the middle of no where but these guys were out to us in 30 minutes, back on the road in an hour. Shane was the technician and had our tire changed in 10 min once he arrived! Thank you! read more

STAY AWAY....The owner of this place should be locked up for robbing so many people, had a flat on my semi so I gave him a call cuz he was literally a mile away, and he gave me an estimate of about 90 dollars to change my spare as soon as he got here he took the tire off the rim then told me the balance was 307 I told him to just put my tire back on and take a deposit because we didn't agree on that price he told me if I don't pay him he'll have my truck towed, I just reported it to the bbb and he should be going under investigation real soon, shady businesses never last. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE NO MATTER WHAT read more

WARNING !! Go in this place at your own risk because you will definitely come out crying or yelling. These guys will take full advantage of your situation and even Police in that area wont help you. My driver went in this place without asking me and instead of fixing his on flat tire , they took off all four from one side of his trailer and want him to get three because they thought they are according to the DOT requirement . And charged around $800 for those used tires. Truckers should be more aware of this place as they will RIP YOU OFF LIKE A MOFO. read more

This company is crooked. I had a nail in my tire they said it was a liability they would not patch it. He then proceeded to try and sale a used tire for almost the price of a new tire. I told him I would go buy a new tire in elko. He said he wouldn't mount it that it's a liability. So we had him put the donut on he charged us 35$ and we drove to les schwab in elko. read more

If you can make it to another city... Keep on driving. These men should be ashamed of themselves. We had two blowouts on our trailer coming through the area and they charged us $170 a tire. When he came out with the bill, he said, "those are very expensive tires". Give me a break!! When we got to our destination in Utah, we decided to replace the other 2 tires... Cost us $90 a tire. Disgusting!! read more

Great service and had tires that the big boys in Elko didn't. Pulled in and was on my way in 45 minutes at a fair and reasonable price. As a service business owner myself time is money and these guys got me on my way fast to get back to servicing my customers too! read more

We had started our trip in Reno with a scheduled overnight in Wells, but about halfway there, got a warning from our TPMS system that the inside rear tire on our motorhome had lost pressure. We were fortunate to be approaching a rest area and safely pulled off. We contacted Coach Net and Tracy linked us with Kevin at Carlin Tire Center. Within 30 minutes he was there to help us! He had some trouble getting the outside wheel off only because we didn't have the tool to get the hub cover off, but he persevered and was successful! Turns out the problem was with the valve stem extension piece so aired the tire, put us all back together and we were on our way. We are so appreciative to Kevin for agreeing to come out at 5pm on a Sunday to help us!! read more

On a recent Saturday afternoon (5:05 pm) I stopped at the Tire Center needing a tent trailer tire. The fellow had just closed the shop. So he charged me $220.00 for a $40 tire and all he had to do was unlock a door, switch on a light and put a new tire on my rim. He didn't have to put it on my trailer just the rim. He came down from $270.00 after I offered him cash. I am certain he pocketed my $220!!! I feel he totally took advantage of my situation and hope his mother, wife, sister and/or daughter are never taken advantage of as he did me. read more

WARNING!!!! HUGE RIP OFF!!!! If there was a way to give no stars and post a review, i would. We got a flat on the trailer and like a dummy i didn't do my research, long story short they charged me MORE THAN DOUBLE for one tire!!!
