Not very responsible driving. I was driving on 80 west at night and saw this big A & K Towing truck going about 90 in the fast lane cutting cars off. Very off-putting to see. Do not recommend this service. Hopefully not all their drivers drive like somebody who wants to cause a serious accident. read more

Best tow experience ever!! My van broke down in a snow blizzard on 80 west, my driver had a great positive attitude the whole time. We talked the whole ride, great conversation and he had even better jokes!! Hard worker too. The desk clerk was helpful at all times. Definitely would go back and recommend to a friends! read more

State Farm had them come pick up my car. First, they refused to take it to Ford where I asked them to, because they don't do body work. But there was engine damage as well! Then after they had it we had to call them to deliver it to Ford so that we could trade it in. Second, they refused to deliver a my insurance company asked them to, until we gave them a verbal ok! Which we did when they picked it up! So at 9am we have them the ok. They did not deliver it until after noon! Total waste of our time waiting for them to deliver it, so we could trade it in! Seriously our town in small and there is no reason for it to take that long, when they say they are on their way! read more

Yes beware of this company. They tend to not care much about state law. They refuse to return state issued property until repaying a prepaid towing fee. Yes you read that correctly. They were paid for a tow by a business and then recharging vehicle owner the same towing fee. I worked in a towing business this is both illegal and unethical. The only time a towing company can withhold state issued property is when law enforcement informs them to do so there is no other case where this is legal. Also double charging for towing fees is self explanatory. State officials should really investigate their practices in order to insure the safety of the public. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience with this company. Incredibly friendly staff who are all easy to chat with while we were filling out paperwork. After we finished that up, I headed out to my car only to find that it refused to start at all. Already seeing that I was having difficulty, they walked out to see if everything was all right before I could even finish walking back to the office. One of their employees popped my hood and discovered the sheriff dept had disconnected my battery. Upon reconnecting it we immediately found out why... my alarm kicked on and wouldn't shut off. At this point another employee came out to assist us. Between the two of them, they combed my whole car to find the shut-off switch, and within about 30 seconds found it and solved the issue. I cannot recommend them any more highly, or be any more satisfied. Call these guys if you EVER need a tow!!! read more

Worst experience ever with a towing company. Contacted them and explained in great detail the situation. They gave me a quote of $165 an hour to do a recovery job on Harrison pass. They estimated taking 4 hours. 2 hours to drive to and from and 2 hours for the recovery. Just before they showed up a truck trying to go around me broke her front axle (still drivable). I told the tow truck driver that and he said that she'll have to figure out a way around him. Because he wasn't moving. Keep in mind that I'm paying for this time he is wasting. The road was snow-covered. After a half-hour of trying to move the truck, he finally moves out of the way. After only a couple of minutes looking at what the job. He says he didn't bring the tools to do the job. This was due to the incompetence of the driver. He told me that he was only going to charge me $100 for this visit and he'll be back tomorrow between 9-10 am. The following day showed up hours late. He pulled me out in less than an hour and told me that he wouldn't no the exact total till he got back to the shop but it would be about $700. When we were leaving I saw him load his tow truck on a flatbed tow truck. Later I found out that he charged me $925 for the job. $100 fee for him not bringing the tools needed to do the job and 5 hrs for the second day because he wasted two hours dealing with his lousy equipment to include loading and unloading his tow truck on another tow truck. When I contacted him about it he claim that he could of charged me even more. To include that he could of charged me $285 an hour for the work. Do not trust them. read more

State Farm had them pick up my truck. It got damaged and they say they didnt do it, the shop must have. They towed my truck from the rear and there is damage to the rear. They will never let them hook up to any of my vehicles again. read more
