As a real estate agent Cariy Hernandez is the best I've ever worked with. Her professionalism and knowledge of the market made it very easy for us to sell our house. Not only do I recommend her with my highest endorsement, but not selecting her for your real estate needs if you have the good fortune of doing so would be a huge mistake. read more

I decided to go with Cariy for my very first selling experience because the previous homeowners for my Pasadena townhouse had such a fantastic experience selling their home through her :) !! I am really glad that I chose her as my real estate agent and decided to work with her because she really streamlined the daunting, stressful and overwhelming process of selling a home! She also connected me with some of the best people to work on my home, and get it ready for sale, from the countertops guys, the painters, the professional cleaners, and the stager :D !! All of them did such amazing and quality work for extremely reasonable prices!! I couldn't have asked for a better team :D !! I have to admit that I was really hesitant to re-do the countertops because this is very much a seller's market, and I didn't feel that it was necessary to do too much since the ball was in my court. But she convinced me that it would be a great idea to tear out the old original white tile countertop from 1985, and to install a new quartz countertop to make my kitchen look more modern :) ! She also suggested for her painters to knock out part of the cabinetry to make way for floating shelves to spruce up my kitchen because buyers definitely notice the kitchen right away! She was absolutely right :D ! The upgrades definitely attracted attention, and commanded a higher selling price :) !! She has a wonderful and humorous personality, and knows how to make you laugh even in the most stressful of situations :) ! I really needed that, considering that so much weight was on my shoulders with trying to balance my home sale with my move, and my work schedule! She really made everything work so well :D ! I have only worked with her in regards to selling my home. But she is really impressive, and works tirelessly to make sure that everything goes right so that your home gets top-notch dollar price :D !! read more

We started our search for a Realtor to buy a home and sell our home by asking people for referrals. I also searched on Yelp and other similar sites. Needless to say we interviewed and researched the top agents in the Pasadena Area. Cariy was referred to us by a friend. She had helped her family buy their home a few years and they loved her. We did our own interview with Cariy and she was head and shoulders above everyone else. She helped us buy our new home and she just recently helped us sell our previous home. She absolutely amazed us with her level of customer service in both transactions. Cariy is honest and incredibly down to earth. She made us feel like she was just a family friend who happened to be the best agent in Pasadena. We looked at dozens of houses when we were buying and she was as patient as can be. Cariy's knowledge of the Pasadena/Altadena/San Marino real estate market is just amazing. She knew so much about every little street and neighborhood. The pros and cons of every house she'd rattle off within minutes of checking one out. Cariy also saved us lots of money by being incredibly savvy in negotiations in buying our house and also in setting up the sale of our previous home. She is extremely resourceful and knows contractors that will do anything (flooring, electrical, doors, plumbing, patch job, paint) all great guys that would drop everything and come help us out. These types of contacts are invaluable when you are buying or selling your home and need it to be ready for sale or move in. She has the best home stager and the photos they took of our house looked amazing. I can honestly go on for pages in how much we loved Cariy. If you'd like to ask anything specific please feel free to message me and I'll be happy to answer. Thanks again Cariy. You are the best! read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Cariy Hernandez based off of a referral from a fellow developer. I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed by her professionalism, responsiveness, and expertise in navigating through the transaction. As a professional real estate investor and developer, I work deal with a lot of different agents and Cariy was certainly excellent. Our property was well marketed with great reach. She helped us weigh the pros and cons of the incoming offers as it related to the current market conditions. This was especially tough because she helped us navigate through Thanksgiving and the December holiday season. I would recommend her to first time buyers as well as full time real estate professionals. read more

We hired Cariy Hernandez as part of a 2-person team, due to her excellent experience in marketing and social media, and she did not disappoint! Cariy helped us to create a fabulous video of our home that exponentially helped with its viewings and showings. She understood the intricacies and economics of our area to a tee. Considering we were at a higher price point (over $1.75M) in an area where the market was a little slow, her outstanding marketing efforts really paid off. We achieved a sale very close to our asking price in less than a 2 month period. To boot, she is very nice, upbeat, informative, reliable and genuinely cares about her clients / wants to make sure they have the most positive experience possible (as selling a home can be a very emotional and stressful time). She helped make the process of selling our home stress-free (as much as possible LOL) and successful. I would highly recommend this real estate agent when selling or buying a home! read more

Working with Cariy Hernandez was like a dream come true for us! My husband and I had decided to sell our home of 22 years in Orange County and began visiting Open Houses in Pasadena. We met many agents, but immediately clicked with Cariy. We talked at her open house and set a time to meet the next weekend while our agents back in the OC were hosting open houses at our place. Cariy picked us up on a Saturday morning and gave us a fun tour of Pasadena. We visited several listings that day in different areas and learned so much thanks to Cariy's expertise. She really is an extraordinary Real Estate Agent! Our house in Fullerton sold in just two days with multiple offers, and suddenly we had to get serious about finding a new home in Pasadena. This is when Cariy became my BFF! We were calling each other and texting several times a day, and she sent me new listings each morning. It was so fun! My husband and I fell in love with an amazing historic home, built in 1922. Cariy guided us through the offer process and our second offer was accepted! We were over the moon! Everything was moving so fast, and Cariy was there every step of the way, setting us up with a loan officer, guiding us through the process, talking with me when I got nervous, and coordinating with our agents in Fullerton to ensure that everything went smoothly. Cariy really goes above and beyond in her service to her clients. She coordinated our inspections and met with contractors to get us estimates on home improvement projects, she met the appraiser at our new place, and negotiated with our sellers to get us credit for some of the work that we needed done. She is amazing! Since we have moved in, Cariy has stayed in touch with us. She checks in just to say hi and see how things are going, which we just love! She has even shared recomendations for restaurants and local markets with us! Cariy Hernandez is truly the most warm and caring woman, and her real estate expertise is absolutely fantastic! My husband and I thank our lucky stars that we met Cariy and we are forever grateful to her for guiding us through the purchase of our new home! Real Estate Agent, Cariy Hernandez, is a great choice and you won't be disappointed! Cariy is a one-stop shop agent and provided great support throughout the entire purchasing process. Cariy is an expert/professional in the industry and is experienced, knowledgeable, responsive and walked me through all the steps along the way. She is well connected when needing inspections or getting work done. Cariy organized and scheduled all contractors which made it so easy for me, especially since I was moving from out of the area. I would recommend Cariy Hernandez for all your buying and selling needs, and I'd certainly use her again! You can't go wrong, and you'll be so happy with her service!! read more

You would need six stars for a fair rating of Cariy. She was absolutely great. We moved to Arizona from California before selling our home in San Marino. She took care of all the paperwork inspections, and negotiations in our absence. That in itself was wonderful, but she also arranged for repair and upgrades as needed as well as for staging the house. The result was fantastic. We had no trouble selling the house and the sales price was the desired one. Cariy really knows what she is doing. Everything was done exactly right. You can't go wrong with this real estate agent. Just listen to her recommendations and you will have a great experience. read more

I would be extremelly careful with making business with Cariy Hernandez. While on her vacation in Portugal she ran away without paying her due fees to the city hall of Lisbon. After mentioning it to her she threw insults back and is running away from paying her dues. Its simply 8€ but shows the person you will be dealing with on a real estate deal. When the decision was made to sell my parent's house last summer, I interviewed four highly sought after real estate agents. All seemed interested in the job, but one stood out from the rest, Cariy Hernandez. Cariy Hernandez's knowledge of the area, the buying & selling trends of homes in my neighborhood and her energetic enthusiasm sold me immediately on giving her the contract as my real estate agent. Her marketing plan was profoundly extensive. She listened carefully and helped create a plan to achieve my goals. The sale of the family house was a tribute to my parents who's love made this home an incredible environment for all that crossed its threshold. This renovation was to reflect their image. Cariy suggested we take it back to the house's original 1941 glory. Cariy paid close attention to outside & inside colors, refurbishing all the hardwood floors, cabinets and windows. New floor tile was placed in the kitchen. Her stager came in, adding unique furnishings throughout to draw your eyes into each room and pull on your heartstrings. One comment I heard was "My favorite room is what every room I'm in." The staging was fabulous! The house looked amazing! Then Cariy's marketing plan went into full force. It was immediate, wide spread and fierce. Very impressive. A two day open house revealed the great popularity of this little refurbished house and highlighted the extraordinary marketing, selling and negotiating skills of Cariy as my agent. Just under 100 people came by to view,18 serious offers, then 8 "best & final" offers. The house sold in 4 days well above asking price! If I have another house to sell, I won't hesitate to use Cariy Hernandez as my real estate agent again. Her expertise, awareness, insight and know-how are the best in the business. I highly recommend her services. read more

Cariy is hands down the best real estate agent you will find. Her vast knowledge of the San Gabriel and Los Angeles areas was so impressive to my husband and I from the moment we met her. We were immediately drawn to her down to earth and transparent personality- especially when all your looking for is someone to guide you honestly through your home buying experience. We were first time home buyers and felt so secure and informed every step of the way. Cariy was always in constant contact via phone, text and email to make sure we were always on the same page and up to date on new listings, paperwork that needed to get done, etc. She also has a wide network of other colleagues and professionals to work with during and after your home buying process. Looking to buy a home for the first time in the Pasadena/Altadena area was intimidating at first but Cariy, being the stellar agent she is, was always able to show us homes that were perfect for our growing family. She's more than just a real estate agent- her savvy design eye, vision for potential in a home, and investments opportunities down the line are all areas she helped us in a lot! I seriously came to love Cariy so much! We got so used to seeing her multiple times a week and always chatting with her, as if we'd been old friends, that now we miss seeing her that often since we've bought our home- luckily, she's always available when I reach out for references or questions. Cariy recently assisted me in buying my first home. She was recommended to me by a friend and she was excellent! I have had several friends that had negative experiences with real estate agents that were pushy and impatient and Cariy was never either of those. She was very helpful and made sure to explain various parts of the process to me. She primarily works in Pasadena but helped me purchase my condo in Burbank. She was always prompt with communication and was able to show me lots of listings that hit all my criteria. She even had recommendations for contractors when it comes to updates for the property. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for their future real estate needs. read more

Cariy assisted us in buying a house long-distance . We were living out of state and wanted to move back to the Los Angeles metro area. She was referred to us when we asked mutual friends to help us find a real estate agent. Even though we focused on the Upland area, which is outside her usual area of expertise, she made numerous trips through heavy traffic from Pasadena to check out properties that interested us, since we were unable to personally view them. During a short trip we made to see local properties she met with us and helped us decide against the first house on which we made an offer. She showed us other nearby houses and neighborhoods. After that our interactions were all long-distance. She sent a mailer to homes within a neighborhood that we liked to try to identify other houses that might become available. Cariy wasn't trying to sell us just any house - she wanted us to buy the house that would be right for us. We kept in touch long-distance, amid the additional drawbacks and restrictions of COVID-19. When we eventually identified another house that we liked she got on it right away, showed it to us via video tour, and helped to guide us through the purchase. She assisted in engaging professional inspectors, and negotiated a significant decrease in the price to help us pay for an issue that was identified during the inspection process. Ours was definitely not Cariy's usual real estate transaction, and we didn't utilize her expertise of the Pasadena area. She went outside her comfort zone to help us buy a house from far away during an abnormal time. read more

Cairy is an amazing real estate agent who helped us buy our first home! We were referred to her by a family member whom Cairy also helped buy her first home and she was very happy with Cairy's work. In our first meetings with Cairy, she spent a lot of time driving us around and sharing her extensive knowledge about house/resale value, history, architectural styles, and facets of the neighborhoods in Pasadena. She has over 20+ years experience as a realtor in Pasadena and it shows. She is not the type of realtor to push a sale to get a quick closing. Cairy wants you to have a home you are happy with. Cairy researched particular units and gave her best advice on the pros and cons of each place so that we could make our best informed decision. Cairy is very friendly and genuinely cares about her clients. She facilitated the negotiations with the purchase price very well to get us the best deal possible. She is also well connected with lenders and renovators and can give great advice on all facets of home ownership. Cairy carefully explained the purchase agreement with us page by page and really made us feel more comfortable with this novel process as a first time homebuyer. Compared to the sellers agent that we dealt with, we could really see a stark contrast between a GREAT agent and just a very average one and we are grateful that we had Cairy to help us. In short, we are confident that you will be very happy choosing Cairy to help you buy or sell your next home! read more

Cariy helped my Fiancé and I purchase a home in Pasadena, CA. We recently relocated to Los Angeles from Phoenix, Arizona and were completely shell-shocked by the California housing market. Thank God we found Cariy. Her market knowledge was incredible: she seems to know every street and neighborhood in the area and could, seemingly off the top of her head, give us phenomenal insight into each neighborhood we asked about. Cariy made purchasing a home in a seller's market easier than it had any reason to be. We quickly fell in love with the house of our dreams and Cariy guided us through the process with expert advice every step of the way. She identified potential issues before we had even thought to look for them, each time giving us solutions that were pragmatic and effective. Without reservation, I would recommend Cariy's services to anyone buying or selling a home in Pasadena. Her expertise allowed us to enjoy the emotional aspects of choosing a home because we could trust her to help us make the right decisions. Cariy sold our house -- and for much more than we were asking. Without her help, I'm not sure it would have happened. Not because of any problem with the house (the house is a beautiful house in a desirable Altadena neighborhood). It might not have sold because any other agent likely would not have perservered the way Cariy did through the myriad interpersonal problems between the sellers (me being one of them). Cariy was a blessing. She managed every detail through what ended up taking over 3 years to put the house on the market (even putting on her work clothes and helping empty a full garage after the house sold). I'm certain no other agent would have stuck it out with us the way Cariy did. Thank you, Cariy! read more

Cariy is the very professional. Cariy has represented me in three transactions. Each time there was something unexpected came up and Cariy handled it like the professional she is. I would strongly recommend her to anyone needing sound advice, perseverance, creativity, and professionalism. As I see it, here are three parts to a real estate transaction. There are the basic mechanics a real estate transaction. I would call this the process. Cariy has so much experience and such a good reputation that she actually teaches the process to other agents. The second part is market awareness. She knows how to examine the numbers and the market trends so that she can tell you where you stand. The third part is she knows how to listen to not only you but to other parties as well. I would strongly recommend her for any real estate transaction. I'd give her 10 starts if that were possible. read more

Our real estate agent Cariy made the process of selling our house painless and easy. She told us to expect 2-4 offers, and that if we did everything right, we would sell the house within a week. Sure enough, we got 5 offers and sold the house 5 days after placing it in the market. Cariy was pleasant and professional throughout, even taking the time for three-way conference calls to give other family members a chance to ask questions. The house had been our family home since 1960 and selling was an emotional decision for us. Cariy was supportive, positive and kind. Cariy's knowledge of the local market is amazing and she is very savvy about current marketing strategies and tools. We've known Cariy Hernandez for 18 years. She helped us sell our first bungalow house in Pasadena. It sold so fast, she never even had a chance to put up the For Sale sign, and for over asking price! At the same time, Cariy had the patience of a saint, escorting us through hundreds of houses until we found the perfect home in Sierra Madre. Seventeen years later, Cariy sold our beautiful Sierra Madre home in only a few days, and again for way over asking price! (This time, we made her put up the For Sale sign, even though the Sold sticker went up almost immediately!) Her secret is incredible patience & honesty, well-planned (and well-fed) open houses, an excellent reputation in the local realty market, her good-natured humor and jolly laugh, and her amazing home-made cookies! Cariy knows her business, and her clients, very well. We're only sorry that we couldn't use her to buy our current home because we moved out of state. Cariy is the best real estate agent I have ever worked with. She really knows her art and she is spot on with her approach to the market. From the initial market research to the final closing, everything had her personal touch. She is also a very sweet and thoughtful person which makes her easy to work with. She even thought to leave us leftovers from the real estate caravan open house- she is a phenomenal cook as well! Her devils food cake was ridiculously sinful. She knew when to touch base with us as things progressed with the sale of our house to keep us level headed during the whole thing. But she is not just a hostess, she is a knowledgeable agent with many years experience who knows how to market properties and can negotiate on your behalf and give you sound and practical advice about repairs and inspections, etc. If you are on the buyer's side, you'll find she has tons of energy and keeps your spirits up during the fun but stressful process of trying to buy in a tight market. read more
