I would suggest finding a different orthopedic office to attend. I saw Dr. Mina and don't recall…read morehim ever doing a thorough examination on my knee, spine, shoulders or neck. He sure got excited when it was time for an injection! $400 ($330 for him to inject; medicine was 60 or so) After injection,he had me out of there in no time. He has no patience for the human being; only focused on money and what is seen on MRI. Was excited about my rotator cuff tear as it was not like any he had seen before, but didn't want to do surgery. Said I need neck surgery IF my hands are tingling; said they ARE and he blew me off. Would like to find someone who enjoys their job and people instead of those who are rote. Go elsewhere if at all possible.

I would strongly Going to this clinic which is Denali Orthopedics and this MD in particular, they…read moreare a strictly numbers clinic I waited for over an hour after my scheduled apointment till he even took me in and then he spent only 15 minutes on actually trying to diagnose my problem ( x ray time included ) and then after all was said and done he still didn't even get close to what the problem was, it is no wounder they have you exit out a different door then you come in so no one can see the expression on your face after seeing the doc. and they were way over priced in my opinion. you can sheck out my other reviews and see that I am not a complainer I had a truly bad experance here with this place.

Wendy Stevens 3 reviews…read more 5 hours ago NEW While on vacation in Aruba I started having vision problems. Prior to this episode I had never experienced eye problems beyond needing a yearly eye exam. Almost overnight I started seeing double when looking to the left, looking down and looking up. I also was finding it hard to read/watch TV or seeing where I was walking when looking down. Saw 3 doctors in Aruba which overall was not very helpful. I called Dr Coon's office. He called me back at the end of his day and talked to me at great length. About 4 days later he called me back unexpectedly-I hadn't asked him to call me. He did the best exam he could do over the phone, very thorough asking me lots of questions and to look in different directions with and without my glasses on, with one eye opened or both. He called because he actually cared. In a subtle way he recommended I come home and be seen. I arrived on a day the office was closed and there had been a HUGE snowstorm. He came in to the office after he pushed snow all day to see me and did the most thorough eye exam ever. He brought his daughter so she could write down his findings as he went through the exam. His daughter is also an eye Dr at the clinic. She was so nice too! To come in on her day off and help with my exam. He has referred me to a Dr that can specialize in the problem I have and is instrumental in getting me in to this Dr that is very hard to get an appointment with. I have had an MRI and a CT scan and it has been discovered that I have a tumor in the deep lobe of my paratoid gland. This may or may not be connected to my vision but Dr Coon is still requesting my medical records and is trying to help me with this problem. Dr Coon is a rare find. I am so impressed with his genuine concern and how thorough he has been trying to figure out what is wrong. It is complex situation but it has been so comforting for someone as skilled as him to be there for me when I have been so scared about losing part of my eyesight. A+ if you have the privilege of having him as your Dr you are very fortunate.

I had an accident at home that injured my left eye and they've continued to manage my care as my sight improves. Extremely satisfied and impressed. Kmack in Wasilla
