In the ER Dr. Gardner the on call Dr. would not even come and talk with me. When I went to his office the next day I found him to be very rude. I tried to ask him some questions about what would happen durring and after the surgurey and was told if I would just be quiet I would have all the answers I need. For me that is not ok this is my body and I have a right to ask as many questions as I want and it is the Dr's job to answer every one of those questions. Needless to say whenI got home that day and found a great new Dr. I have talked to half a dozen people since my experiance that have had the same issues with Dr. Gardner My advice is to look far another Dr.

The clinic itself is spotless, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully designed. The massage chairs in the waiting area are a brilliant touch--loosening my muscles before the appointment made my adjustment far more effective. Then came my consultation with Dr. Mondrell. Having had an extremely negative experience at another local chiropractic office, I was both cautious and hopeful. From the start, Dr. Mondrell's demeanor put me completely at ease. He listened closely, asked thoughtful questions, and took the time to understand not only my immediate concerns but my long-term health goals. His approach was thorough and meticulous--he found problem areas I had overlooked for years, explained the potential risks if left untreated, and gave me clear options for moving forward. What really stood out to me was his rare combination of skill, compassion, and insight. As I told him during our visit, he has a gift for finding every sore spot and addressing it with precision. His extensive medical knowledge, combined with his warm and caring nature, left me feeling both physically better and deeply reassured. I also appreciate that Arctic Chiropractic offers both chiropractic care and physical therapy in the same location. This means I can finally catch up on much-needed PT without juggling two different offices and schedules. And although my insurance doesn't cover the initial exam, they offered a very generous cash discount, making it both accessible and worthwhile. After what I'd been through elsewhere, the difference here was night and day. Dr. Mondrell and his team embody what health care should be--respectful, attentive, and genuinely invested in their patients' well-being. I walked in with pain and uncertainty and walked out feeling cared for, hopeful, and on the right path to healing. If you're in the Palmer/Wasilla area and want a chiropractor who truly listens, truly cares, and truly delivers results, I can't recommend Dr. Mondrell and the team at Arctic Chiropractic enough. Algone Clinic is located in the same building and occupies some of the downstairs and the top floor. My wife is a new patient of Algone and I will do a write up for them when I have enough experience. I found this cafe during her visit. See my first write up. I realize this is unusual but this Cafe is most exceptional and I hope the business owner or Yelp can get together to get her a personal listing. I recommended it to her. She does an excellent business with great sandwiches, salads, soups and drinks daily in the area. Lunch time is I would think is her busiest time with a morning crowd for coffee and early breakfast items.
