I don't recall the young woman's name who helped me, but I specifically mentioned I was looking for native-made earrings for my mother in law and she showed me a few options. She also gave me the background of the jewelry maker and I ended up buying three pairs. The value was also excellent for authentic, one of a kind pieces. She did mention that we should do all of our shopping in Ketchikan, and I didn't listen as it was our first port. I should have listened! I regret not buying more there. read more

Nice store with unique items. Purchased a couple of items from the store and told them to ship to our address. If you are looking for something special it is the place to go. However, shipping is another story. They charged our credit card for the items and we were told they will charge again for the shipping charges after they mail the package. Our card was charged on 8/14 for shipping. It has been 2 weeks now since they charged us for shipping. I do not know how long it takes for a package to arrive from Ketchikan to Kansas but at least we should have been given a track number to track it. I tried 4 times today to call their phone number but no one answers and there is no website or email to send them a message unless i am missing something. I just received the package today. I was in port on a cruise and one of the main things I wanted to get from Alaska was a real, made in Alaska totem pole. This store has the best selection!! And the gentleman who helped me was so extremely knowledgeable about what each totem story was. I could have talked to him all day learning about each totem. Absolutely loved my experience there as well as my purchase. I would absolutely shop here again and they were so appreciative that I was buying an Alaskan made product. I am in absolute love with my totem. Be prepared to spend some money on a real Alaskan totem. I opted for the smaller size due to cost ($300+) however I will say it was well worth it!!!! read more

We visited Ketchikan on our cruise to Alaska, there was issues with our times and were late getting off the ship so this created us to be late getting back to the ship. I was actually heart broken about it because I really wanted to find a Sasquatch statue. I watched a TikTok from Sincerely.sarahandharry about the one her husband purchased in Ketchikan. When we got back from our excursion, the lines to return to the ship were LONG. My friends and I ran around all the different shops that we thought may have the Sasquatch statue. One shop even asked me if it had to be Sasquatch, umm Yes! We arrived to Caribou Creek and in hindsight, they were probably closing or closed. There was a bear statue in the doorway that we sneaked in by. They were all very sweet and helpful even though we walked in SO late. I asked if they had a Sasquatch statue, they looked for a bit and remembered there was one left at their family's store across the street called Rain Barrel. Rain Barrel was closed to the public at the time but these sweet people ran over there and checked for me. While checking for it, I explained to them that the statue was the only thing I wanted from this trip. I had no idea these existed until I saw the TikTok. They didn't know about the video and I told them Sincerely.sarahandharry went viral and I showed it to them. They were all so excited to see it and to know it went viral. They couldn't wait to share the news with their family as that sasquatch was from their store too!!! They made my dream come true, I really thought I was going to leave Alaska without by guy Sasquatch. The statue itself is hand made and now resides here in California. I fully recommend their store when you are in Ketchikan. The quality of the service and products is the best. read more

First of all if you are stopping in Ketchikan as a port on a cruise ship do not fall prey to all the jewelry shops in town (or any town for that matter!!!). The jewelry shops often are owned BY the cruise ships so they direct you to them as trusted shops bc they want YOUR MONEY!!! We didn't have any set plans while in Ketchikan for a few hours but I wanted to help support the locals and investigate some native jewelry. I find the more unique pieces of jewelry are more interesting, historically significant, and bring many questions and compliments from others! Plus you are helping to support the community members that live there year round- not just there to make bank during cruising season May to September!!! Make your purchases thoughtfully. We entered the store after seeing "locally owned and operated" posted outside the store. I aim to make my purchases mean something instead of merely buying junk. They have such a fascinating array of carvings- totems of various sizes, animal horns, mammoth tusks, and jewelry pieces of all sorts! I'm not a huge jewelry gal but when I find something that is interesting and speaks to my soul I get interested. The family that owns the store has lived in Ketchikan for many years and utilizes local artisans for products in the shop. Buy local!!! The mammoth carvings and different pieces of jewelry fascinated me. The mammoth tusks have been discovered in areas of Alaska further north. Stop buying blood diamonds and expensive tanzanite that is excavated on the backs on Tanzanians. This shop has authentic and unique pieces for a variety of prices. The young woman working with me gave me some history about the mammoth and asked to look at a mammoth pendant. I chose a sterling silver chain of my liking and have been wearing the necklace and pendant since! It's such a unique and question provoking piece- I'm wearing a piece of history...why could be cooler than that! Two of my employees stopped in this business to shop for souvenirs. They were physically grabbed by a salesperson and told "get out".

I will never recommend this shop again. They sent us a defective piece and initially agreed to issue a refund, but now they are avoiding all emails, calls, and text messages. They take advantage of tourists, knowing most won't return after receiving faulty items. We spent a significant amount on a wooden sculpture, and their behaviour has been completely unprofessional. Amazing local family-owned business. Everybody was so kind and considerate and genuinely wanted to help and explain every item in the store. Items are locally made. We bought beautiful one-of-a-kind pair of earrings and three small totems. I would go back to them in a heartbeat and can't recommend them enough!
