Is it just me or is no one going to mention the giant excavator play area with sand and hand trucks…read morefor the kids? It takes up most of the store and is easily bigger than the back counter area. Seemed a little out of place, but who am I to judge, i'm more mentioning it as it almost gave me pause. Wanting an after dinner treat I walked the few miles here and sitting in a strip mall I was expecting more cafe vibes rather than chuck e cheese. Granted there weren't any kids here, the rest of the decor was pretty appropriate to a boba cafe. Menu was large, clear. Prices were affordable (aside from the disproportionately high tax rate). Service was friendly and quick. Serving sizes were large, weren't overloaded with ice and foams. I was hoping to get offerings on sweetness levels as Boba places are notoriously sweet or even caffeine offering levels. I was hoping for the hokaido sugar milk tea, but went with the milk tea with the flan and boba which was a nice change of getting just boba added. I'll definitely be returning as it's the only boba place in walking distance.

Despite being metal, the chairs were still comfortable enough to sit in for a full hour and a half while I chatted with my friend. This shop also appeared to have a selection of books, possibly a free library type situation, though there wasn't any signage near the books so it was unclear. Overall I definitely enjoyed hanging out here with my friend!

I love Tropical Smoothie. We were on that side of town, my daughter wanted a milk shake, I…read moreconvinced her to get a smoothie as a treat to myself. It is something I have not been able to afford with this economy. It was a treat. When I ordered, I told the young woman at the counter that I always get the same thing. I find something I like and never try anything else. SO Blimey Limey it was. When it came to the table is was BARELY pink. I told my daughter that I bet it would be nothing but ice by the time I made it half way. Then I took a drink. There was BARELY, BARELY a flavor. Just a slight hint of strawberries. I did not taste lime or pineapple, for that matter orange AT ALL!! I went to the counter and asked if they could put a little more flavoring in it. I am not sure if it was the manager or the owner who told me it was made right--she did not watch the girl make it--and it was made to order. I showed her the barely pink almost white drink and said there is no flavor. She argued and said she would put more sugar in it. I asked her why I would want more sugar? Seriously folks do we order sugar ice when we go for something with a bit of healthy in it. I told her I did not want more sugar, I would be happy with a little more pineapple, orange something so it had flavor. She again told me she could put more sugar in it. I have worked my whole life in service oriented sales. I managed bars and restaurants when I was younger. Offer to make it AGAIN, BUT PUT MORE SUGAR IN IT? WHO WANTS THAT?? I could have had cake, or that milk shake or a snow cone, if I wanted MORE SUGAR. Or I could have saved $18 and gotten a coke at Mc D's!! This visit ruined my taste for TS. I will investigate who owns this franchise and NEVER give them my money again. As for the BOSS lady, short black bob, who offered SUGAR as a fix, if she NOT the owner, she needs to be in the backroom only, not as the face of the business.

There are never any good coupons, promotions, or discount days, but even so, I continued to support your business, spending on average $17 a visit. I kept hoping that once you were more established, you'd start showing some appreciation to your customers. But today was the last straw. My bowl wasn't even filled to the top. When I politely asked the employee for a bit more fruit, especially since there were only five blueberries in my bowl and plenty of room left, I was told that management has instructed staff to put no more than five blueberries in each bowl. They are not allowed to fill the bowls anymore. This is a lousy business practice, and it speaks volumes about how little you value your customers. There's a new açaí bowl establishment just miles away that offers BOGO days, a rewards program that actually counts, and bowls filled to the brim. You can keep your five blueberries. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

My favorite bases to get are Pitaya, Coco Love, Mango, and of course Acai. The chia pudding is my favorite add on every time as well! Highly recommend.
