Great coffee and food, sometimes myborders go wrong or they forget part of a sandwich. Reviews are right, dont use the drive-thru if there are 4 or more cars behind the menu board, it will take 30 min. Today i had a lack-luster crafted press tho. My cup was so hard-packed with ice my beverage was gone in 5 min. Usually lasts me a good hour!! Must have been a whole 8oz of coffee in there. I didn't order a lg 20oz for nothing. read more

When they first opened, I heard many people saying how slow this shop was, so it took me a long time before I checked them out. I've never had any issues here. The waits have not been long at all (even when we get sandwiches). The coffee is very good, the sandwiches are amazingly delicious, customer service has always been very good, as well. When I drove through with two dogs in the vehicle and they only had one doggie bagel left, they still offered it and offered to cut it in half! My only negatives would be that drink prices are a bit high, I wish there were more sugar free options, and I wish a more thorough menu was available online. read more

Worst service ever! I got a black peach tea and the drink had so much ice that I literally paid for $3.19 just for a cup of ice and I probably got 1/4 of a drink. The worker at the register didn't even know what kind of gourmet bagels that they had on display. I would give the food and the coffee 5 stars, but the service is terrible. The drive thru at 7:30 am is slow. 20 - 25 minutes to get a coffee. I started to go inside and usually I'm one of 2 customers. I order plain coffee and for some reason, that kind of order goes to the drive through people. So after 10 minutes I had to ask about it and they had forgotten it. The next time I got sandwich and they forgot to make it. At least they apologized that time. I went back one more time and got a few bakery items. I was a few miles away before I realized they only gave me half of my order. I drove back and the woman's response was "oh yeah" and handed it to me without an apology. I love their coffee, but it will be a while before I give them another chance. I complained to corporate, but haven't gotten a response. read more

This company does not care about customer service, just money. They have been open for awhile now and still are god awful slow, it's almost painful the amount of time you wait for a drink. They seem to ALWAYS be out of something, large cups, straws, napkins and the list keeps going on and on, not sure how you run out of these items consistently. The management is a joke, most of them are to busy talking with crew or goofing around. When you do finally interact with one of them I'm not sure how they became a manager. I went to this location over Easter weekend, this took place in the drive thru. I ordered two drinks, both were simple drinks. The girl who was working drive thru clearly can not listen, being asked to repeat my order is annoying. I ordered a cold press with marshmallow syrup and cream, super simple. We set at the window for what seems like 45 minutes, 20 minutes passed and she opened the window and gives me a cold press with no cream. At this point I'm thinking do I tell her and wait another 20 minutes or go. So I drive off and take a drink and there is zero marshmallow syrup in it. At this point I go back and go inside, the lady in the front pulls me over to the pick up area and explains what happened, no joke, she proceeds to argue with me and says "oh I know there is syrup in there," then another girls explains she just changed the bottle because it was empty. So there was not any in there??? What customer service job gives you the right to argue with a customer? NONE that's how many. They remake is wrong again and I just walk out because I'm so angry. I call the manager and she proceeds to give me this long excuse about how they have high turn over and are trying to train. Let me explains something to you lady, the consumer does not care about excuses, they are a dime a dozen. She basically offers to remake the drink and that's it. I just want my money back. I called corporate and have yet to hear from them. This company only cares about money, not the customer. read more

I've never waited long for my drinks, or my bagels. Definitely not any longer than the wait time across the street at Starbucks. The only thing that is disappointing is that they are always out of what I want, so then I choose something else, and they are out of that as well. It gets frustrating. And it's always interesting being told they don't have straws for my smoothies..... The employees have always been very apologetic, and try their best to make helpful suggestions for items that ARE actually in stock. Overall, they will continue to get my business! :) read more

What a wonderful addition to the Bismarck "coffee scene". Granted, it's a national chain that you may have experienced before, but you haven't, until now, experienced it in Bismarck. Immediately you are greeted by a welcoming and bright space. You realize right away that Caribou has an outstanding corporate training program, because the employees are knowledgable of their products, and they're willing to assist you with a smile, even on day 1! Whether or not you're already familiar with their product line is immaterial. You'll find something to love on their concise yet refined menu. From the traditional espresso beverages you'd expect at any coffee shop to their wonderful signatures, like the campfire mocha. This location is also home to Einstein Bagels! So grab a friend, grab a coffee, and sit and enjoy. Or, if you don't have the time, slip through their drive-through. You'll find something to love, and it may just become your new favorite. read more

I am a frequent visitor to this coffee shop ever since it has opened. In the beginning they were nice sweet and fast. However in the last six months I don't enjoy this place at all. The people they have at the drive thru window are rude all the time. If they make something wrong don't bother mentioning it-they will make you feel like crap for saying anything. There's a new girl at the window who has such a nasty attitude I haven't visited in weeks. Please consider new management. read more

I'm not a coffee drinker so I'm commenting more so on the bagels/sandwiches. GREAT bagels!! I'd say it's a toss up between here and Panera Bread for best bagels in Bismarck. But one thing they are amazing at is the Nova Lox!! I am addicted! In terms of customer service everyone I've dealt with is SO NICE.... HOWEVER more times than not, I am either waiting 20 minutes for the bagel, or they mess up my order :( other than that I love it. 3 1/2 stars. read more

This place is so slow. There were two people in front of me and it was almost 10 minutes before I was able to order. It took even longer to get my food (several people who ordered after me got their food before I did) and when I finally did it was wrong. I doubt I will ever come back. The Starbucks across the street is so much faster and a better deal for the money. read more

I was excited to get a Caribou in town but have had problems every time, this place is just ran with complete incompetence. Firstly, I ordered an Campfire Iced Mocha and asked for half of the espresso, this took them forever to figure out what I meant by this. They finally figured out that they needed to charge me EXTRA for half of the espresso, brilliant logic...I didn't feel like arguing so I just let it go. I went to pick up the drink and it didn't have the whipped cream or marshmallows on top so I asked if I could get that on there, they went on to say they only put it on blended and hot but not ice, considering I paid for it this makes no sense, but whatever. I decided maybe this was just a one time thing so I tried it again after a few days. Same thing, they couldn't figure out how to not charge me extra for less espresso but I did remind them at the till to put the whipped cream and marshmallows on it. So I went to pick up my drink and guess what no whip or mm, so I asked them to put it on again. This time though I was lucky enough to get a lecture on how I should be asking for whip at the till, I said "I did", and just got a look. I actually tried to order this drink one more time at a later date with the same results. After a couple of weeks, I decided that maybe they had figured some things out and that I'd give them another try. I went through the drive through and order a Vanilla Chai and 1 Bagel with a different bagel topper for each side, I went up to pay and wasn't told my total but just paid, I grabbed my stuff and drove around to park, I managed to receive a Chai with coffee in it and 2 bagels, one whole bagel with each topper. I had to go inside and wait to get this fixed, but they didn't do anything about the bagels so I just basically paid for stuff I didn't want. I do also like the occasional hot chocolate from them as well, but I just don't think I'll be going back anymore. It's just to much work to argue every single order, not get what you asked for, and get ripped off....not to mention the long lines you have to deal with. I'm not a big Starbucks fan but at least you can tell them anything you want and they'll do it and get it right. Unless you're desperate for Caribou, I'd just go across the street. read more

Very slow service (on average a 20 minute wait) and the handful of times I've been there twice my order was skipped. Both times I ended up waiting for 40 minutes, Also; both visits weren't at peak hours and I only ordered a single drink. To staff: Look, if you are going to ask for a name when an order is placed, use the name you were given. If you didn't understand, ask for a repeat. Don't just let a person's order sit and cool. If you do see an order just sitting you might try to figure it out who it belongs to instead of just talking and laughing amongst your co-workers. read more

I won't be back here again!! I have given you enough chances in Bismarck to win my business, today was your last. For the record, this is my first negative review I've ever written. I was a loyal customer to Einstein Bros for over a decade in Arizona. They seemed to figure it out regardless how many customers were in line. Today, as I stood in your store waiting 30 minutes for my bagel, I sat and listened to 2 of your workers complain about how the customers should have more respect for them. I heard you criticizing customers who were complaining. I heard you say how it's not worth busting your a** for upset customers and they need more patience. After patiently waiting 30 minutes and listening to this absurd employee complain to his coworker the whole time as he made coffee, I finally had enough after I watched several customers who were after me receive their food first. When I asked where my food was, one of the employees asked what I ordered. It was clear they forgot my order as he informed me he would go make it right now. As I continued to wait, I then asked another employee if my food was in fact being made. She looked at me very irritated and said yes it will be out soon. I very calmly told her my displeasure and how long I had been waiting. As this is occurring my food comes up which she tosses in a bag and rolls her eyes at me. I am sorry for inconveniencing you! I am sorry for helping keep your business open! But sorry no more as I won't be back. I write this, not because this was my first bad experience, as I understand every business can have a bad day. However, this was at least my 4th bad experience with this store. I could go on and on from the ridiculous customer service to the rotten mushrooms served on an egg sandwich from prior experiences, yet I didn't run online and write about it. I gave you chance after chance and you continued to fail. After hearing how your employees talked about customers today, I realized your store no longer deserves my money. I can go to a sit down restaurant, be appreciated for my business, and get my food even quicker! I would highly recommend you send your employees to some of your stores in a metropolitan city. I had never been to the bagel portion of the location before in any area, so I was unsure of some of the menu items. Because of this, I misunderstood part of the menu and what I was trying to order. The guy working the cash register repeated a vague, unclear explanation (I think twice?) to me, which I realize is irritating, but I was a first time customer and legitimately didn't understand. I wasn't trying to be difficult, I just wanted to order. The man at the till was very impatient with me and responded to me in a very annoyed, condescending tone more than once. Again, I realize having to repeat yourself is annoying, but then please explain more clearly to me my mistake and point out the menu in a helpful way, and at least ATTEMPT to stay patient with customers. I've definitely seen some awful, rude customers and understand what thats like, but I was sincerely trying to be polite and order as fast as possible so he could move on to one of the three customers behind me. I had a coffee and a bagel, both were delicious, but felt disrespected by the customer service displayed by man behind the counter. read more
