My husband asked what was in the non-whey protein that they added. The lady at the till basically said "I don't know, it's a new thing," and left it at that. We waited over 20 minutes for 3 smoothies and a juice. We ordered a Green Machine, chocolate smoothie, and mango smoothie. They all tasted exactly the same--just tasted like straight whey. My daughter's juice was already separated when she got it, and it was super chunky--more like a smoothie with too much water. The place gave the vibe that no one really wanted [us] to be there. I get that it was New Year's Eve, but we probably won't be back next time we're in town.

That alone tells you how long the Bismarck-Mandan are has been waiting for a shop like this. With the option of boba milk tea or smoothie, and adding a flavor of your choice (Taro, Mango, Strawberry, Matcha, Chocolate, Honeydew, Vanilla, Almond, Lavender, Coffee, or Red Bean) and finally choosing a topping of your choice. 3 steps to creating your own Flavorlicious drink. Drinks aren't the only think that Mama Bear has to offer, but a variety of snacks and treats. Doughnuts, cheesecakes, Macarons, various flavors of ice creams, and their apparent specialty....the Bubble waffle. You have the option of ordering your drink/food, and jumping back into your Mall adventures, or sitting down in the quiet seating area to enjoy what you have been missing for a long time. The vibes are very hip, quaint and quiet...and seemingly attractive to the younger crowd (with their [older] parents in tow). We ordered a Strawberry fruit smoothie, Strawberry boba tea with mango pearls atop, and a Taro Boba tea. This is what we have been waiting for...or at least I have. The last decent place (outside of Seattle) to serve up some Boba teas were T &Crepe of Fargo, ND. If you're in the are...and dislike the chaotic mall-life, i am sorry, because you must tolerate the monstrous chaos of the Kirkwood mall in order to reach that boba-life. I contacted The Fruit Boutique on Friday at 2:15pm in a panic. A well-named national floral delivery company ( not naming names here) fell through at the very last min and was not going to be able to deliver the gift we ordered ahead of time. They offered to send the gift next Tuesday instead of the date requested. I said not acceptable and decided to cancel the order. Panicked- I googled local businesses in Bismarck that looked like they could help in a pinch. Tamara from The Fruit Boutique came through and reassured me that she could deliver the fruit bouquet the same day and then texted me a pic of the items we discussed. Grandma received her fruit bouquet a few hours later and was ecstatic. Thank you, Tamara, for helping to make Grandma's birthday special. I appreciate the attention to detail, thorough communications, and great customer service.

I ordered the berry blue tea and the other people in my group ordered a huckleberry tea and cake batter shake and we all loved what we got it was delicious! The space that this place was in was super cute we stayed for a little while to drink our drinks. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!
