We have been going to Dr Cari for 11 years. We love this office and everyone who works there. Dr Cari is very direct, knowledgeable and explains everything she is doing... so kids understand and know what to expect. Third strike and they're out. We just left the office because we'd been sitting in the waiting-room for 25 minutes without any staff having the courtesy to apologize for the wait and give us some idea as to when my child would be seen. When I asked Tracey, who's been the front desk receptionist for years, when we could expect to be seen...she gave me an attitude. Totally caught me off guard as I expected her to be apologetic...polite at the very least. We waited an additional 5 minutes while she disappeared into the back office (supposedly, to find out when Dr. Zupko could take us) only for me to go on a search for someone...anyone. We let them know we were leaving but would have, greatly, appreciated one of the staff acknowledging our prolonged wait time. It was at this time, Tracey became extraordinarily defensive. She was incredibly unprofessional. This was the third time we've had long wait times without any acknowledgement. (Previous visit had us waiting for 40 minutes because Dr. Zupko was, apparently, having a difficult time with a child...which I understand...but again, we shouldn't have to inquire about why we're sitting in the waiting room for such a long time) And then, to be given such a rude, defensive response is unbelievable. Additionally, Dr. Zupko is abrasive...At times, she is condescending to both kids & parents - alike. We've always thought she'd be better suited for adult dentistry. We should have left years ago. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTISTRY! My mom took me here back in 2012, I was 3 years old, and now that I'm older I can finally leave a review and I never forgot the experience. I had a broken wisdom tooth, and the dentist literally strapped me down while drilling my tooth. She tried to make it look like it was normal to do that to kids and traumatize them. My mom almost beat her down. I really hope y'all improved because that's just horrible. Not impressed.. read more

Our 3 kids have been going to Dr. Zupko for many years and I would recommend her with no reservations. The practice is well managed and the staff has always been professional and friendly. I appreciate Dr. Zupko's personality, she's no nonsense, but more importantly, she's great with the kids. Dr. Zupko and her staff ensures our kids are comfortable, especially for longer procedures, when needed. No office or dentist is perfect, but I really believe they care and do their best for their patients. read more

Dental care is decent. I wouldn't say outstanding, but it's above average. Facility is nice with up-to-date equipment and a waiting area that is very kid friendly. Staff is nice and pleasant. But the dentist, Dr. Zupko herself, is rather abrasive. She's not very friendly with the kids. She's rude and condescending to the parents. And medical concerns are not handled privately. Meaning, she will walk into the middle of a full waiting room and start talking about your child's conditions (announcing to everyone in ear shot that you child has a cavity or that the child needs to see an orthodontist for specialized treatment). This is highly unprofessional, in my opinion. Any medical discussions should be held in private and not announced to a room full of strangers. read more

This place is what I've been looking for! Driving into the complex, it was intimidating at first but they're in the same building with the purple awning. The waiting room was awesome. Free coffee and they had the Wii Sports so my kids played on that as we waiting for our appt to happen. Appt time was pretty good. We came in and signed in and we only waited 5 mins until we were seen. My kids saw Dr. David Vasquez. He's amazing! He was very patient and gentle for my 2 year old and very playful with my 6 year old. He was very attentive and didn't rush the appt - he was very thorough. He even took the time to sit us aside to create a dental plan for my kids where we understood how to brush their teeth with techniques he uses at home. He answered all our questions and made sure we understood. They will definitely be our kids pediatric dentists from now on. read more

HORRIBLE dental practice. My wife and I had to reschedule our kids appointments twice, once because my daughter had a 102 fever and the other because of a family emergency. The receptionist told me that we were 'being referred out' because of 'repeat cancellation.' This kind of cold and un-empathetic attitude DOES NOT belong in the health care industry. If our like to be disrespected and treated like a second class citizen, call Dr. Zupko. read more

Dr. Cari Zupko and her staff have been nothing short of amazing. My son had an extremely traumatic experience at another office and she has worked so hard to give top-quality care, while still being sensitive and understanding to his past experiences. She takes the time to talk to us and educate us as to what is going on. She strives for perfection in the work she does and in caring for the kids in her care. The kids see Dr.Dave Vasques at Dr.Zupko's office. Very kind, attentive and very gentle. They don't mind coming for their twice yearly dental appointments. The office is pretty popular with the neighbourhood parents so getting an appointment on the day you want is not that easy. read more

I went to Dr. Zupko ever since I first started going to the dentist. She wasn't awful for the most part, never super warm. The reason for my one star review is that I started to notice that my jaw would click and there would be slight pain. I informed Dr. Zupko of this nearly every time I would go see her and each time she would blow me off. Telling me it was nothing to worry about. Eventually, I had had enough of her carelessness and needed to see a new dentist. My new dentist took notice of it right away, before I even mentioned it. I was referred to a TMJ specialist where I was told that I had pretty severe TMJ. The amount of pain I am currently in could've been avoided had I been given the treatment it deserved. read more

We took our 3 year old to this office. They advised that our daughter needed oral surgery. I requested the xrays to get several other professional opinions. We attempted to schedule surgery with their doctor, but they do not participate with Blue Cross. I called back to Dr. Zupko's office to ask if they had any other referrals of surgeons who do participate with Blue Cross and the receptionist told me that since we requested xrays that my daughter is no longer a patient. I couldn't believe it. After my daughters experience with this office she became scared to go to any doctors office. They did an awful job making sure that my daughters comfort was in their best interest. After speaking with other pediatric dentists about our experience we learned that treatment should never be forced on children and that treatment shouldn't begin until the patient is completely comfortable. Dr. Zupko's office did the complete opposite. The staff is rude, the treatment is forced and money is of greater interest than the patient. I don't recommend. read more

I would give this place a no star if I could. Horrible place. please be cautious in taking your children here. My kids mouth got horribly infected after dental work, and they literally tortured my poor kid. Her mouth got so infected that she suffered for weeks not being able to eat or drink. Careless team who don't even know how to soothe nervous and scared children. Shame on you guys as pediatric dentist you guys don't know how to work with children. read more

If you care about your children stay clear of this woman. She is a scam artist. I filed a complaint on her with the better business bureau. She told me that my son had 5 cavities and she got real creative with it saying it was on 3 out of 5 surfaces on his teeth and she had to charge me the price of the fillings on each tooth. Sounded so strange and unbelievable, I took my son to another dentist to get a second opinion and find out he doesn't have any cavities at all. NO Cavities what so ever. She probably does a ton of unneccessary procedures on these poor innocent children. This dentist belongs in JAIL!!!! read more

Dr Zupko is great with the kids. She is comforting and informative. My children ages 6 & 9 happily go to the dentist when it's time for a cleaning! My 9 year old had a traumatic experience and another office. We looked for a pediatric dentist and found Dr. Zupko. She is great at soothing and gaining trust of her patients. read more
