Dr Peri was up front honest and real I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist in the area we really aren't even that close but it is worth the drive. This is a long story but important review. My wife and son were patients here and I needed some…read moredental work done so I figured I'd go here as well. I went in and they assessed my situation and told me I needed a root canal which they would do. With my insurance it would be $1600. I went to the appointment to have the root canal and experienced my worst dental related day I've ever had. He attempted to numb the area locally multiple times and when unsuccessful he tried doing a nerve block which he couldn't do successfully and there was still pain when attempting to drill. When I asked him why he couldn't do it he said "you tell me" which wiped away any confidence I had left in his abilities. He suggested me to a gentle dental kind of place and I left. I then got referred by a friend to an endodontist who was able to get me in about 2 days later. He successfully completed the root canal in about 30 minutes with minimal discomfort. It was also half the price at $800. Lesson learned to always see an endodontist for a root canal. The story gets better. After the root canal I went to a new dentist I was referred to so I could get the crown put on and finish this nightmare. The dentist there was very concerned about the tooth and the path I had taken because she assured me and explained to me with visual aid that a successful crown wasn't possible and the tooth wasn't salvageable from the beginning and shouldn't have been saved but been extracted. So now I'm out $800 and a terrible experience because of dr Gary Joh. Beware of this place.

I've been a patient at this practice for about 50 years. So right off the bat, that says a lot!…read more My mom took me to see the dentist as a little girl and this is also when she chose this practice for her own dental needs. After becoming an adult many moons ago, I chose to remain their patient all through these years and all through their moves from one location to another. My mom is almost 80 years old now and she still comes here so I'm sure she's one of their longest standing patients. My kids have also been patients here as well so with 3 generations of family members, that should speak volumes about the practice, the dentists, the specialists, the hygienists, the x-ray techs and of course, the office staff. I've recommended them to others as well and one other family member of mine has made this dental office their practice of choice. Throughout all of these years, I've had the pleasure of meeting many of the staff members, some of which are still working here and some have sadly passed on and are missed. In over 50 solid years of being their dedicated patient, there has maybe been one small instance of a problem but nothing to even make a fuss about and it was cleared up in no time at all. In my book, this also speaks volumes for their business. They are conscientious and care about all of their patients. If there's a problem, they'll fix it. Even if there are no problems, and you only have questions that you need answers to, they are here to help you with all of your dental needs and concerns and they'll do what it takes to please their patients. No matter who you interact with, everyone here is always polite, friendly and professional. At times, there's a bit of a wait as far as scheduling with the dentist but they'll do what they can to get you in when you want or need to get in. Again, that's a good sign of a popular dental practice. They have a very nice, comfortable and warmly decorated waiting room with a TV, plenty of reading materials such as magazines and they always have the local newspaper too so you can catch up on the latest news. Oh, and I must give mention to the large, beautiful, fish tank that both kids and adults love looking at. The restroom is conveniently located just down the hall from the waiting room and they have a little seating area for the kids to read or color. They definitely have it all covered! I can't think of a thing that I would change so again, that's another example of a good, solid practice. So to sum this review up, if you're looking for a nice dental practice with friendly, professional staff, look no further... this is the one you're looking for and it fits everyone's needs with the many professionals that practice under this roof. What could be better than that?

During my previous visits, the assistant who took care of me was not very kind and made me feel self-conscious about my dental issues. It almost felt as if she was looking down on me, which made the experience uncomfortable. However, that all changed during my last appointment. Instead of my usual assistant, I was greeted by a different dental assistant, Mrs. Rose. From the moment she walked in, she radiated warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She was the sweetest person and made me feel comfortable, even though I had come in feeling down about my dental problems. She took the time to explain everything to me and offered reassurance that truly made a difference in my experience. I am so grateful for her kindness and the positive impact she had on my visit. I hope that she is my assistant in the future as she left me feeling really good about myself. Thank you Mrs. Rose!!!

Deborah Habel 2 years ago How many folks can say they really like their dentist and their practice team? I can! They're just wonderful people. The Rochlen's office is clean and well equipped and *doesn't smell like nitrous oxide.* The staff are all friendly and professional. I see Dr Michelle Rochlen most frequently but her Dad, Dr Gary Rochlen, has also treated me--always without fuss, drama, or pain. When I broke a tooth during an extremely bumpy flight one afternoon, Dr Gary stayed with his assistant and saw me that day even though my arrival time made him late to a holiday dinner with his family. He tried to save what he could, but ultimately had to get that tooth started for a crown that evening. Dr Michelle met me at the gym one Saturday for a quick peek when I thought something terrible had happened. I'll never forget these events and will always be grateful to them. Patients first. At the same time, I've never had the feeling that I was paying for someone's lavish lifestyle at this practice. Work is recommended *when needed,* NOT for an upsell. Every hygienist and assistant I've seen - and I've been coming here for years with my weird teeth - has been gentle and thorough. I always feel a bit guilty eating that first meal after a cleaning and ruining all their work. Front office staff are all fully engaged and prepared to deal with any issue you might bring. Hortensia answers the phone saying, "I can help you." She's not lying. I have NOT been compensated for this review and I am NOT related to anyone working in the practice. This is a legitimate review.
