Located in the Madison Park neighbourhood of Seattle, they offer an excellent variety of upscale items for moms and moms-to-be on a budget. I stopped in when I was in the neighbourhood because the name made me laugh. And I'm a FotC fan so I had to see what they sold. I ended up buying a lovely toddler jumper for a friend of mine back in Texas and I liked the cleanliness of the store with its easy layout.

It's located in Renton right off the 405 freeway at Exit 5, which makes it very accessible. The area has a great mix of food options, including Red Robin, Korean barbecue, Thai food, and even a movie theater. The layout is well spread out and the area is especially known for its Asian cuisine. I definitely recommend taking your time to walk around, especially on the weekends when it's lively and busy. It's also conveniently located next to a park, which adds to the experience. The selection here is mostly food-focused, with limited shopping options such as Ulta Beauty and Target. The one I purchased is a little plainer, perfect for work, and was on sale for over half off, which of course sealed the deal. I already started using it and love both the color (blue!) and functionality. The gentleman working during our visit was so patient and informative as he answered a bajillion questions from my friend while letting us browse without pressure. Of course prices are on the higher side but I have always appreciated Cotopaxi's fun color ways, quality, and their commitment to doing good. The only downside for this visit was that I was told I would get my receipt via email but never received it, which is a bummer because I like keeping them for warranty purposes.

I visited Kid to Kid twice in one week and had an overall good experience. The first time I just stopped in to kill some time and picked up a couple of items for my kids. Most of the stuff they sell here is really great quality and is reasonably priced. For my youngest I got two pairs of pants and a long sleeve shirt, and for my middle I got a pair of jeans and brand new Halloween bow by the checkstand (they gottt me), all for $25. Definitely affordable! I stopped in later in the week to drop off a huge tote of clothes that I've been discarding as my youngest has grown out of them. The selling process is fairly easy - you drop off, they process the clothes, and then give you a call to let you know how much store credit or cash they'd like to offer. I decided to take the store credit offer because it was definitely decent and because I know I'll be back to shop again! It's also nice that whatever they decide they don't want/isn't in season, they'll donate to local non-profits so I don't have to handle picking it up and dropping it back off somewhere else. The store is organized nicely and they have a ton to look through for all ages. My only gripe is that each time I've gone in, the staff hasn't been the friendliest. Retail definitely can be hard work though, so it's possible they were just having overwhelming days. Looking forward to returning and shopping again!
