Service has been absolutely awful here. I came into to get a simple TB skin test in JULY and there was no one else in the queue but they made me wait an hour each time to get seen for a literally 5 minute test. Then on top of that they forgot to bill me for the test the first time and so I am STILL getting bills from them after taking all the right steps and calling the billing center and even coming back to the clinic to have this fixed. I paid for the service when I came back to have the test read so why am I STILL being charged? Why cant anyone follow up on my calls? Its been THREE months now. Even after the talk with Riley the manager who kindly called me to respond to my inital complaint, I am still getting bills for this TB test I've already paid for. I have been told verbally that this situation has been escalated twice to upper management to fix but now it's become untenable, I am going to have to call to force them to change the payment in their system. after a year end wreck, I proceeded to get a quick check up at this care now just to make sure everything was all good with me. They proceeded to perform an x-ray on my body the end result was good in their eyes, over two days after my visit, I still had the exact same symptoms with no change at all, so I began to have a second opinion. In which they were able to find something within five seconds from getting my results back.. I began trying to dispute this x-ray charge, and I have not done anything besides going to a complete circle every single time. I would not recommend this place to anybody, especially if they're gonna do a x-ray, it makes me wonder how many others were misdiagnosed as well. read more

The care I received at the Southlake CareNow facility was exemplary. I had a rather nasty wound that became infected and was seen by their team two days in a row. At check in, McKayla was professional and patient with me despite my "less than sweet" disposition that day. She even worked her magic to help me with insurance and saved me some money! Dr. Jafri was patient and kind and explained exactly what her care plan was. I was grateful she opted for a conservative approach at first, even though I had to return for a more serious procedure. That procedure was painful and traumatic but again, Dr. Jafri was patient and kind. Shannon is the best emotional support hand-holder in the business, distracting and soothing me with her kind eyes and witty personality. Nurse Samantha finished me up with efficiency but somehow managed the softest touch. So soothing! This was an excellent overall experience. This team deserves all the accolades. read more

I went to care now as a fully insured patient only to be told that my insurance was not accepted. I then become a self pay client. When asked how much it would cost out if pocket I was given a price. Fast forward 3 month, I found out that my insurance was billed and that I now owed a copay. I called and was told it was a mistake and that the bill would be taken care of. Fast forward another three months and I am being contacted by a credit bureau because my bill was now in collections. I feel as though fraudulent activity has been done. How does one self pay, get insurance billed and still owe money. Please do not go to Care Now, you will receive the bill that keeps on billing. read more

*** BAIT AND SWITCH *** On May 15, 2021 I injured myself by kneeling on a piece of glass. I called CareNow Urgent Care, North Las Vegas location to inquire if they did sutures and was told that they did and I could come on in. When I saw the Doctor he said I would need stitches however he didn't have suture kits to do them and referred me to the local hospital. To my surprise CareNow billed me over $300.00 for this visit when nothing was done. I tried to contact CareNow billing and explained that I was told over the phone to come in for stitches and when I arrived was told they didn't have suture kits. The billing department told me that regardless if the Dr. treated me or not it's a valid bill because I saw the Dr. and am responsible for payment. To lure me in by telling me they could do the stitches when they didn't even have the supplies to do them in stock was horrible and delayed my treatment by over an hour. Having to file a complaint with the Nevada and Texas Attorney General office to get this resolved. read more

I highly recommend Carenow! I have a primary care physician but for this resent bout with the flu and pneumonia I used Carenow. Why? Because it was easy and I received great care on my timeline. I have been going to Carenow for years as I travel and have a hard time seeing my Dr dying the day. For this series of visits I went to Carenow in Austin while I was away working and then when I came home I followed up with them and was diagnosed with the flu and pneumonia. It's so easy here, they can take your X-rays and prescribe medication and you are on your way. I came back for follow-up visits and X-rays saw the same Doctors and nurses all excellent bed side manners. Went in for an xray... they were very friendly and efficient. Their radiology tech, Channing was amazing. She knew how much pain I was in and went way above and beyond to get the images they needed while making me as comfortable as possible. Diagnosis was quick and accurate, explained thoroughly. The location was good, however, the billing is HORRIFIC.... they do not notify you if there is an outstanding bill; they did not contact me, they instead sent it to a collection agency. When I called I found out the billing was wrong, and they actually owed me money. 2 months later, the collection agency was calling again. Poor customer service on the phone. If I were you, I'd avoid CareNow and save yourself from the billing department. read more

worst urgent care ever. they aren't "urgent" one little tiniest bit. they take over half an hour to an hour to get you into a room, for then another 30 minutes to an hour just sitting and waiting for a "doctor" to come in and say maybe 4-5 sentences after being told the wrong information by another doctor, and then have me and my significant other wait another 30-45 minutes just for an xray. keep in mind, im still sitting in here waiting writing this and it has been over 30 minutes sitting waiting in here after the "doctor" said that the person that does xrays will be in in just a minute. lol insane service if ya ask me. read more

She has to be one of the most ignorant, self centered, ZERO emotional IQ Doctors I have ever come across. If it wasn't for the other two amazing Drs that work at this place I would give her in particular a ZERO!!! Trust me when I say this, if she is there. Do not waste your time. Go elsewhere!!! I cut my leg working on a bathroom remodeling project. The cut was significant and required immediate attention. We contacted CareNow and they were able to see us very quickly. We walked in and they immediately placed us in a triage room. Sam our nurse was there to greet my wife and I as well as administer initial care. We saw Dr. Ruiz very shortly after that. The doctor had great bedside manner and put us at ease with small talk and comforting discussion about her treatment of care. The stitches (yes they were only stitches) were attended to quickly and we were out of there within 90 minutes. It was as close to a pleasant experience as a trip to the emergency room could possibly be. We were very grateful to have these professionals attend to us. Although they were in network for my insurance I was told I would have to pay in full starting with $175 for the visit then anything extra like lab work or X-rays. I do not have any copay with my insurance so this baffled me. The receptionist wasn't very friendly nor did she try to explain why I had to pay. I asked for the paperwork back that had all of our information on it since I was not going to be seen there. She refused and said they would shred it. I met with a doctor after an injury and she was great. Very attentive and helpful. I am in the office right now for my scheduled follow up appointment. I've been waiting for the doctor in the exam room for over 1.5 hours. I came in at the time they requested. When I go outside to see if anyone is coming, he hasn't even been given my chart. Horrible attitude and customer service! We will never return! I'd give them a zero if I could! Just called for the results of a strep test. I shouldn't even have to do this they should call me. I very clearly listed my name on the hippa and they are now saying they can only release info to my husband. Nightmare! avoid this place at all costs. I did the on-line appointment at 8:30 am, and they called at 9 am to say the wait was 3-4 hours. 5 hours later I called them again to be told I'd be called in 30 minutes, I was the next person in line. the whole point of going to CareNow Saturday was to assess the best way to verify whether i had Covid out of concern for people I am around for holidays in 5 days. They led me toward getting the PCR test with a 2-day turnaround rather than the rapid test, only to find out 2 days later that the 2 days countdown starts 2 days later and that the actual projection is 5 days AND that i may have been better off getting the test on Monday instead of Saturday...so i won't likely have the test back in time to make informed decision about holiday. I could have taken the rapid test and known right away, at least if i fell into the 65% that might have obtained a reliable result from the rapid test. The main reason for the 1-star review aside from the total waste of 175 bucks this cost me is that they were very rude today when i tried to just clarify the situation. They were very friendly and very efficient on Sat up to the point I had paid and left the facility. Their office/lab staff was some of the rudest I have encountered. It was just a very poor experience, and I feel i was deliberately rooked out of $200 bucks with poor info provided by the doctor/staff there - i will not go back, unfortunately. They lost my trust. All patients expect is accurate information to make decisions from - we don't have unlimited money like the insurance companies. $200 is a lot of money, and this company completely disregarded that. read more

The care of carenow is just fine. The business practices are abhorrent. I was there to get a steroid shot for a flare up of poison ivy. I waited the obligatory time, saw a lovely nurse and physician. Then when leaving was asked to wait so they could put the charges in the system. I was told I would need to pay in full $200. I asked for an itemized report. I was informed it would not be ready for 4-5 days. When asked if they could email. I was told they could not. Carenow- explain your business practices, bc to me you just made up a figure out of thin. I called at opening to verify that they had COVID testing and they said yes and directed me to complete a web check in online. I completed it at 8:05 AM and was told after receiving the phone call verification that it would be 1-1.5 hours to get me in. It was 3 hours and 15 minutes before receiving the call to come in. After seeing the nurse and the doctor, which took 1 hour I was told that my tests would be available in 10-15 minutes. I HAD TO GO TO THE FRONT AND REQUEST MY RESULTS AFTER AN HOUR!! Will drive out of my way to not go to this location ever again, I get it's a pandemic, but holy shit. read more

I highly recommend CareNow in Southlake!!!! I was a walk-in appointment today. I was immediately met with a welcoming smile and cheerful greeting by Corrin at the front desk. Signed in and filled out the paperwork online - very easy and efficient process. Expected to wait an hour but was called within 40 minutes. Greeted by Sam (nurse), she was very friendly, personable and escorted me to the exam room. She took my blood pressure as well as height and weight and asked a few health questions. - Dr Ruiz came in shortly thereafter. Dr Ruiz is also very friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and a great listener! Took some tests that she suggested and gave me sage advice on what to do until I see the specialist she recommended. Julian (tech) took an X-ray on-site (he was also extremely nice). If you like, they will book the specialist for you before you leave (so helpful)! This place is well situated, clean, organized and it's evident that the medical team is cohesive and really enjoys working together and that is really an important factor for me as a patient! read more

DO NOT go here! This was such an awful experience. Checked in, filled out paperwork and she said it would be 30-45 min till I saw the doctor. Waited for over an hour with 1 other person in the waiting room and I went up to ask again and she says "I'm still trying to get in touch with your employer to find out about your workers comp claim , it's probably going to be a while." Granted it's Sunday and your an urgent care which means you're after normal business hours - people aren't going to be in the office! The doctor here communicated I did not have an infection and sent me home without a diagnosis nor treatment. "Ok, cool I am fine"....so I thought. I scheduled an appt with a different doctor, I left that Drs Office with a treatment plan and medications for an infection that got worse over time. The female Dr at this care now said "nothing was wrong". This has been the best CareNow clinic visit I havw had. I did online check in and was called a few moments later to confirm information and tokd to come on in. I got to the clinic and was welcomed by the front office staff, i gave them my name and signed the needed papers. I sat in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes. Nurse checked my vitals and placed me in my room, and Dr. Jafri was promptly in to see me right away. She was smiling, friendly, and very attentive. She seemed to genuinely care about me as the patient, which is unheard of in any past CareNow visits i have been to. I will definitely return to this clinic for any future medical needs read more

Terrible experience. What's the point of checking in online if you have to wait 60 minutes for them to call you, another 20 minutes to get into a room, then another 20 minutes to see a doctor? THEN it took an additional 30 minutes to wait in the lobby to check out... although I was the only patient in the lobby. The front desk lady thought it was more important to make follow up calls then check me out. And actually asked me to sit back down until she called my name, and proceeded to make additional calls. Terrible practices, terrible service, just terrible. I went online at 10 am and requested a virtual visit for my sons rash on his leg. I called them twice through the day, just kept saying it'll be a bit for virtual visits. Got a call at 3 saying I needed to bring him in within 30 minutes or if lose my place. They said they cannot consult for a skin rash via virtual. Would have been nice for them to tell me that sooner so I could have went somewhere else. I spent a full 24 hours feeling nauseous with body aches, vomiting, and cold chills thinking I only had food poisoning because of my lack of fever. Honestly I thought going to see a Doctor wouldn't do me good because it was just one of those things that needed to pass through my system. Once the nausea got unbearable, I decided to stop by Carenow. Took less than 10 minutes to be seen, less than 20 to get diagnosed with the flu. Dr. Jafri was spot on with her recommendations.
