I would not recommend this establishment. I set up a check in online. Never received a call to when I should expect a call or something. So I drove there to see if there was an issue with the web page and to see if I could be seen. Walking to the front desk and here are my thoughts Vanessa does not need to work in patient care! She went on a rant about what type of day they were having and what she usually would have done. Unfortunately, I do not feel comfortable being treated at this location with how she went about speaking to me. I understand that urgent care is busy all the time! But that first interaction with a patient goes along way. I had to ask her information in regards to when would I get a call. Just wasn't a pleasant experience. Disgusted by this clinic's efforts to assist patients. I have been here on multiple occasions because it is conveniently located by my house. When you're sick it's hard enough to get to the Dr. First experience with this location, I visited them because I was running a fever and had an obvious respiratory infection. In addition to, coughing up rust colored mucus which are obvious signs of pneumonia but they diagnosed me with bronchitis... The pneumonic further developed costing me time off of work. I had to see my family Dr. in Lewisville who does his job correctly. Second experience was in February when flu season is in full swing! I went in with the flu. They told me that it was just a cold and to come back the next day to test again for the flu if my fever got any higher. They said there would be a second charge if I came back the next day. They also offered to take my blood to count my white blood cells because I had the flu which is really pointless. The next day I did wake up with a 102 fever and went to a different Dr. that verified that I had the flu! More money and time wasted. Third experience! I went to this clinic for an allergic reaction in October of 2017 and I am just now receiving a bill in April 2018. I called to ask their customer service support as to why I was receiving a $200 bill and she said it was because the receptionist typed in my insurance policy number incorrectly. Not only is their staff completely incompetent of servicing sick patients, but they charge you more money down the road due to their mistakes! They got this online check in which is unfair to folks who do walk in and are not aware. I came 10 am and they took me in after hour and half and four times they stepped out and took about 20 min each to return. I'm still in room after my final check up. Not sure what's taking them long. Ok edit review continues when I walked out to find why doc haven't return after examine then nurse happen to step out room next door oh her prescription is on the table. Sorry I had to attend another patient. She knew yet to release me she took another patient. Dr never came back to explain why these are being prescribed. I was prescribed two different type of pills I happen to look. What are the side effects and what is it for one doesn't even make sense because it's drowsy kinda like similar to sedative, and I need to take these three times a day!! WTH. Walked in and was asked to sit down and wait a minute before being checked in. I totally get that especially with Covid things are crazy. Never was called back up so after waiting 20 minutes I walked back up and asked to be checked in. The white lady said "who checked you in" I stated that I hadn't been checked in because she asked me to wait. She replied "I wish someone would have told you that you have to do a web check in". Like girl that's something YOU could have told me when I walked in. Confused on what the point of "web check in" is when you still end up waiting 45 min to over an hour JUST to get brought to a room and wait another 30 minutes for anyone to see you.. Honestly, I only come here because it's so close to my house and it's convent when I'm sick and need care ASAP... but it's more like care "after we make you sit and suffer an hour and a half visit for us to barely speak/look at you and sign a prescription". read more

I checked in at 7 a.m. for "12 p.m or later," which usually means I'll get seen around 12. I never received a call, and when I went over there around 11 the receptionist ignored me for a few minutes to do something on the computer and then told me that I hadn't "finished checking in," which was false. I tried explaining I had finished checking in the same way I always do when I check in to care now facilities, which I've been to several times before, but all she did was talk over me and insist I had done it incorrectly. To top everything off, she told me I had a $15 balance (which I ended up paying) but she couldn't tell me what it was for. She just said, "Um, I'm not sure what it's for. Pros: - Web-checkin was quick and easy. Checked in 7am on Monday about one hour before they open. Arrived at 8:10am and entered around 8:25. - front desk and nurses were nice and professional - area was spacious, clean and they have TVs available Cons: - Didn't receive a copy of x-rays.. (I forgot to ask so be sure to ask for them!). I picked them up the next day (no charge) - Doc was rushed. didn't bother asking, "do you have any questions". Just a number in their queue of patients... I guess that's how it is on busy Mondays, I imagine. - Doc said there was no fracture but there was. He did preface that the radiologist would make the final determination but he seemed confident and made me think that it was all good. Next time, he should not imply everything is ok and just say that they won't know for sure until the radiologist analyzes it. read more

Dr Trung Nguyen was my doctor today, and saw my dad when he had covid last month. Coming from an RN, I have never experienced a more terrible assessment by a doctor. When my dad was seen by him, Dr Nguyen simply told him he already had covid and had already infected others. My dad was told to go home and rest with no prescriptions given and to go to the ER if he got worse. Dr Nguyen did not even take the time to listen to my dad's lungs and if he had, would've suspected covid pneumonia, which resulted in my dad having to go to the ER. If it had been caught by Dr Nguyen, an ER visit may not have been necessary. During my visit with him for a cold and possible strep, covid negative, I was treated similarly. He stood as far as possible to look at my throat, did not palpate my lymph nodes and only listened to the bottom of my lungs. Two instances of radically incompetent assessments deserves a low rating for this Carenow. I am unsure of other practitioners that work here, but I would absolutely not recommend seeing Dr Nguyen in particular. Visit another Carenow. read more

This I believed I don't have health insurance so I decided to go to Care Now and sign up for the healthy savings plan. $20.00 isn't bad. $68.00 per visit (doesn't not included X-ray, meds, and etc.) They were fast to get me in a room. Pleasant, informative, and respectful of my time. Dr. Trung Nguyen was able to explain the problem with my injury. Drs and nurses know what they are doing. Facility is clean and well maintained. Why 3 stars you ask? I was there at least 2 1/2 hours. Most of that time was spent sitting in the lobby or exam room. I get that there were four people in front of me. But 2 1/2 to 3 hours? Too long. I think it must be a disorganized kind of thing. My needs were simple and straightforward. I have now been to the same 2 facilities the past 3 days trying to get my drug test done for my new job, each time they have not had a lab tech on site to do the drug test. Or so they claimed everytime I went to one that the lab tech "had just left".....sounds more like these places are ran by lazy people who dont wanna do their jobs. Do better. read more

This place is focused on money making, not patient health. I gave them insurance cards inmediately upon arrival. After spending over 30 munutes filling out forms, they informed me that insurance wouldn't cover the visit. The kids I brought in have insurance that is supposed to pay at 100 percent. Plus a secondary insurance. They still insisted on me paying the amount for both kids in full. Places like this should be shut down and replaced by British system clinics. read more

At first I thought this place was great if you needed medical attention if you did not have to go to the ER. The web checkin is great however when they call you to come in you will wait an additional 20 to 30 minutes, so someone tell me the point of web checkin again? Not much of care of concern, just about getting you in and out which is good, but they need to listen to what is wrong with you. Also misdiagnoses seems to happen often not only with my wife but with me, I had the flu which is not a sinus infection. There is a lack if care in care now. They simply said it was just a viral infection and sent me on my way with a 200+ dollar bill. Hate this damn place. Been here a dozen of times over a dozen years. Internet pre check in, nope...did and always do and still over an hour wait. Mis diagnosed every time. My husband completely ruptured, I mean tore away, his ACL and twice they said it was just a knee sprain. I'm here for tendonitis and just need an anti inflammatory, but I'm sitting here, after checking in online, for almost an hour. Personnel rude and uncaring. Did web Check-In on a Tuesday night around 8pm. I got a call back at 8:10 and they asked me more about my symptoms (throat/chest pain) and they told me I could come right away. After filling out some papers I only had to wait 10 minutes. The lobby was pretty empty (yay!). The nurse asked some questions then the doc came in pretty quick to check me out. He asked throrough questions and ran some tests and then ended up referring me to a specialist. He prescribed some meds that helped me sleep through the night without pain or discomfort. The staff here is very nice and helped me find a pharmacy that could fill my prescription at 9:15pm. Hopefully I won't have to go back but I recommend it if you need to! read more

I have attempted for 2 days to book an appointment via the online portal, at the W Campbell Road Richardson Tx and W McDermott Allen Tx location. I have been turned away for treatment because your staff has indicated that they are understaffed and cannot take anymore patients. I am appalled to hear this statement from an employee, who also stated that they had to work late because they are so busy. No one should ever be turned away two hours before closing due to staffing issues, neither should that be communicated to patients. read more

Dr Nyugen already told me I was Covid positive without checking the result. I went to another site the next day and my results came out negative. He argued with me that he has never seen the difference in results between the rapid and PCR TEST. I work at a hospital as and I told him there is a difference but he didn't believe me. I didn't believe him so I got my test at another facility. read more

Nice, clean, plenty of seats, and I love the call ahead option. My first visit 2 years ago was good even though I had to wait while in lots of pain (not their fault - I didn't realize they had the call ahead option). My second visit was ok - I went on a Sunday as I was really sick and getting worse - everyone was really nice and the Dr even came in to verify that I was aware of the broken arm bone he saw on my xray (made me glad to know they checked with me and didn't make assumptions!) The medicine I got (z-pac) didn't work (but again, they had no reason to know my body doesn't like it - I didn't know myself), so I had to go to my regular dr in 2 days because I wasn't getting any better. But again, I stress, there was no way to know that and I don't blame them for that. As my dr explained, the z-pac doesn't work for everyone. The staff is really nice and caring. Would l go back? Yes.
