I was very impressed on this visit by the time and attention of Nurse Practitioner Angelina Fiszlewicz gave me. She spent plenty of time listening to my concerns about my current illness and identifying appropriate medications based on my history. In previous years for the same issue, I've had other healthcare providers turn me away without meds (saying it's a virus - tough it out) or prescribe multiple courses of unnecessary antibiotics. I would highly recommend Ms. Fiszlewicz! However, be aware you should avoid the Kroger pharmacy at all costs! They are clearly understaffed and overworked right now, but they are totally inept. I spent over an hour waiting in lines over 3 separate visits within 24 hours, and still had to go to CVS for 1 of 4 meds!

When we got there, were pleasantly surprised to see it was nearly empty. The location looks brand new and was very clean. A screen in the waiting room showed patients in front of you and estimated wait time. Ours turned out to be much shorter than expected, maybe 15 minutes. Our doctor was excellent, taking the time to explain what had likely happened, as well as the workings of the ear and a plan of treatment. She tested her for flu and strep throat and was very kind and thorough. Since we already took a Covid test that day at home, we didn't get a Covid test. Khusbu gave us a prescription for an X-ray to screen for pneumonia because she thought that all symptoms pointed to it. The next day, I took Sandy to Westchester Hospital for the Xray. Today I stopped by the Little Clinic to see if the results were in. Shawna (whose last name I don't know but I think that it begins with a K) was the nurse practitioner on duty. I asked about Sandy's results. She told me that they hadn't come yet. So, she then called the hospital and inquired about the results. The person there told Shawna that she needed to send over a fax which Shawna did immediately. Shawna then asked me about my daughter's symptoms and her most recent fever - which was 101 today. She then gave me a prescription for antibiotics and checked for the results once again before I left. Their nurse practitioners gave my child top-notch service. I am very happy with The Little Clinic.
