Dr Matthew Huff the on call Emergency Room Physician on call was both a good listener (great skill) and very specific and clear in his "game plan" for treatment. He was very attentive about a post Emergency Room care plan and provided good advice and startegy. Health Care is a collaborative between patient and caregiver. Well done, Dr Huff. M Todd Bergdoll.

No one wants to be in a hospital even for a quick procedure but when needed you want a caring and professional staff. They deliver and after all the press about Kettering Health Care and the data hack I want to send along my thanks. I even got a card from the staff thanking me for trusting them. Sorry no pictures but that would be a HIPPA violation. I highly recommend the endoscopy staff they are amazing

I recently spent time at Kettering Medical Center while my mom was having surgery, and I have to…read moresay, this place goes above and beyond the "typical hospital" experience. The surgery went very well (huge relief), and every single staff member we encountered was supportive, kind, and genuinely friendly. Hospitals can be stressful places, but the people here do an amazing job of making you feel cared for and not just like "Patient #342B." The facility itself is spotless and surprisingly warm for a hospital setting. It doesn't feel cold or sterile, it almost feels like more than a hospital, like a place designed to comfort as much as it heals. There are plenty of waiting areas, good signage so you don't get lost in a maze of hallways, and even a cafeteria in the basement (Cafe on the Boulevard) for when you need a break and a burger. On a personal note, I was here 15 years ago to give birth to my daughter, and it's remarkable how much the center has improved since then. They've continued to grow, modernize, and somehow get even better at what they do. If you're looking for a hospital that combines top-notch medical care with a team of people who treat you with genuine kindness, Kettering Medical Center is it. No one wants to spend time at a hospital, but if you have to, this is a pretty great place to be.

I also suffer from C-PTSD…read more At first, the care was alright, through the night it deteriorated, once they found I take aprazolam for my mental health. I was told I have several conditions- none of which another hospital, a good cardiac care hospital -didn't find. The labs were lost, the nurses hurt me and I was "discharged"- awaiting transport. They left me to be observed, while in atrial fibrillation for 6 hours. I suffered. They didn't care. Do not go there.

IF YOU LOVE YOYR LIFE OR YOUR LOVED ONES, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE…read more To be honest, i left a review on google but the opportunity to ALERT people on the hospital here I will never miss. This doctor refused to treat my child, claimed I was being dramatic. Told me to give my kid a popsicle. Then threatened to call security when I asked for tests to be run. Just for me to take my child elsewhere one hour later and have an ambulance transport my baby whose oxygen levels dropped to 74 and continued dropping and he had 104 fever. He was diagnosed with pneumonia, RSV and bronchitis. A 3 year old. And now the hospital will not provide me paperwork or update his chart so I can report that doctor. CASES LIKE THESE KILL PEOPLE.

Within minutes I was taken back and placed in a room. The very knowledgeable, attentive Er nurse continued to reassure my husband and I that we would get the bottom of my issues. After preliminary testing completed it was decided to admit and place me in room on second floor. Once again I was greeted with a fully capable and knowledgable staff. They hooked me up with monitors and IVs. My comfort was top priority and concern. My nurses / assistants .... All the staff was an excellent crew. All very polite pleasant and very supportive to each other. Very informative and helpful to me. Wonderful lady doing the cooking! I never had the cook come in to ask about the food! Or if she could get me anything! Even the cleaning lady ask if I needed anything! Folks it does not get any better than this! I live in Washington c.h. 35 miles from Xenia 22 miles from Wilmington and 5 miles from Fayette Memorial. My Primary Dr. Is Dr. Sharett in Jamestown. My oncologist is Dr. O with Soin in Beaver Creek. Don't go to this ER if theres an emergency, if you do go don't get upset at the staff when they…read morepreform poorly, you'll probably get security called on you like i did. Imagine if you will, your family member just took a prescription pill and is going into Anaphylaxis, you rush them to the ER, they go inside, you follow after parking your vehicle, but theres no one in the ER, no staff, no security, no patients, just you standing in an empty and locked up ER, they leave you there frantic and worried for around 10 minutes (people can die of Anaphylaxis in seconds, let alone 10 minutes), but when you finally find someone you better be cheerful when you ask why the ER desk has been unmanned, because when the nurse tells you to calm down, and that they weren't at the desk because they were checking your spouse in for treatment, you shouldn't tell them that they're just making excuses, you should kiss their ass and keep that smile up or have security called, because this hospital is the same as the rest, they insulate themselves from reprimand, and you'll get no resolution from reporting them. Oh, and their security likes to put their hands on people when they're leaving (like in my case), you can have your back turned to the incompetent staff, walking out the doors, and you'll probably get pushed from behind like i was.
