DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY Extremely Disappointed with This Service This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had. I paid over $3,000 expecting real support with job applications and networking but instead, I was left doing everything myself. They kept giving me tasks: build your LinkedIn, grow your network, search for jobs. But no one was actually helping me. I was told what to do, not supported. I had to look for jobs myself, send them the links, and then wait and even then, they were often late to apply, and I lost real opportunities because of it. The worst part? After I got no results! They later told me the networking service "hasn't started yet." After I did all the work and followed everything they said they still said it hasn't started, but they charged me anyway. And when I finally canceled, they refunded only $750, which doesn't even come close to what I paid. Yes, the resume writing was solid. But let's be honest: that's the bare minimum when someone pays thousands. What followed was a total lack of support, slow communication, and a feeling that I was completely on my own. I thought I'd be treated with care and integrity, and instead I feel scammed. I don't recommend this to anyone. I'm walking away with no interviews, no support, and a huge regret. read more

After a year of being promoted to an executive role as CISO, I wanted a professional rewrite of my resume and chose CareerTuners based on LinkedIn recommendations. I worked with Gule and invested $1,200 in a package including a resume, executive bio, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile overhaul. From the start, I sensed Gule was out of her depth, particularly with an executive-level resume in a technical field. Despite several revisions, the initial drafts confirmed my concerns. Even after multiple edits and discussions, the final versions of my resume consistently failed to pass ATS scans, scoring only mid to high 50s which directly impacted my job search, resulting in rejections from over 100 applications. Feedback from executive placement firms and rejecting employers was unanimous--the resume did not meet ATS standards, leading to automatic disqualification. Despite providing clear feedback and examples from job applications, Gule was unable to craft a satisfactory document. When I requested a refund due to the unmet service quality, Gule refused, citing company policy. This response forced me to escalate the issue to my credit card provider for a dispute. For those in executive roles or the tech industry, I strongly recommend seeking services elsewhere. CareerTuners did not meet the professional standards required for high-level job applications, particularly in understanding and implementing ATS-compliant documents. read more

Thanks to Fatema's video on mistakes people make when networking, I was able to fix my mistakes on LinkedIn. I realized that in the past, I was casting a wide net. My LinkedIn had said "looking for opportunities in IT, marketing, and business". After hearing this advice, I quickly changed my LinkedIn to be more specific. Fatemah's advice about quantity over quality was also very useful. It seems like it's more of a numbers game. I am a little intimidated by the approach of contacting directors for open positions. I don't know where I would find their contact information. Perhaps this is something I should try since I haven't been hearing back from recruiters. read more
