I was able to achieve both here! Yorktown Center and mall are the anchor of this area and have all the classic vibes of an interior mall while being surrounded by open-air shopping and eateries. Additionally, this complex also has a movie theater an a gym. So, multi-faceted and mixed used for sure. The mall has a lot of the standard mall store you expect, but they also have a good variety of smaller branded stores and even some local shops. Like any other mall right now, there were serval empty store fronts. While the shops were cool to wander through and by, I came for the food court, which is huge! Featured a solid selection of chain and local spots. The mall was clean and well kept. Worn in some places, but for the most part in good shape. Overall, solid spot to spend some time at, with or without purpose.

Firstly, I appreciated that this mall is located walking distance from a big store-front shopping center, including a hotel and stores like Target and a bus stop. A circus was on tour in the parking lot the same weekend I arrived here, which I would assume would've brought more business to the mall. It seems to be a good spot for pop-up events like that. And secondly, service dogs are welcomed for those that need them. Overall I had a great experience with the stores that this mall does have, including the biggest highlight being at Victoria Secret's where the staff greeted me, gave me a post-weight loss bra fitting and great service when checking out with my new items! Vacancies are plenty-full in this mall unfortunately and specifically I want to mention Barbra's Bookstore - a small owned bookstore in the mall that I 1000000% wanted to support, mostly because they fullllllly advertised their banned book section and had tote bags for sale around the store branded with those same banned books *see pictures* , BUT - no one acknowledged me in the store & I don't appreciate that. Decent mall, decent stores, great food court (Burning Mouth being the best place) - with lounging, sitting area. There's also a family bathroom in this mall, located by the food court that is HUGE - and I'm sure helpful to mothers nursing. A family, small-oriented mall indeed!

Seriously if there was an option for no stars I may have put that…read more I went here when Christmas shopping. I walked in not really looking for anything in particular... and ended up finding something cool for my boyfriend and brother/sister-in-law. BUT. First of all I was greeted by a guy with dreadlocks when I walked in-- who had his mouth full of food. I understand sometimes timing isn't ideal, but he continued to have a conversation with me despite the fact that I was getting a disgusting show of the inside of his mouth. I quickly excused myself from that and said, "just browsing." Now as I'm walking around the store, I am distracted by a woman having a very LOUD conversation with an employee (who I later found out was the manager). Not only was this woman talking at an inappropriately loud volume, she was also talking about rather inappropriate things. I don't know if she worked there, but she was bashing people openly and just overall being a total ass hole. The manager woman just continued conversing with her as if it was no big deal. I finally picked up my items and went to the register to fill out paperwork and check out. The guy with the dreads got me started on paperwork for engraving. As I was filling out the sheet (and mind you, it is pretty quick), two other customers came in and the guy with the dreads moved on to greet them. They had a lot of questions which he was answering, but after I filled out my 30 second paper, I was standing there waiting for the next step. So the manager is standing there having a personal conversation about 2 feet away, the dread guy is helping a customer, and another guy was just walking in circles in the back of the store... while I stand there twiddling my thumbs. About 30 seconds before I'm about to walk out, the dreadlock guy comes back and takes care of me. There is more to this story, but I think you get the jist. I have worked customer service before and basically the idea (especially around Christmas time) is to help customers. And the manager is supposed to delegate tasks. On the other hand, the products turned out beautifully, so that is the reason for my 1 star rating. However, I don't normally like to support businesses that have shitty customer service- no matter how good their product is.

You are better off buying from NewEra or Fanatics. I ordered a $57 Chicago Bears hat on December 8, 2025 and it is now December 22, 2025 and my hat is still not here, very poor value for my money. The tracking number indicates that USPS has not even received the hat yet in order to ship it to me. I live in Chicago and the store is in Lombard, Illinois, which is only 20 miles apart. I emailed seeking help and no response from Pro Jersey Sports. WHERE IS MY HAT?? I have now reported this to the Chicago Better Business bureau, and the U.S. FTC because this hat was ordered online and the hat has not arrived and Pro Jersey Sports will not assist me in locating the hat which was ordered two weeks ago. WHERE IS MY HAT??? This is the ONLY response from Pro Jersey Sports and whoever wrote this should be fired as they have not helped me at all. Pro Jersey Sports wrote via live chat, "You chose economy shipping" and that is it, with no other information and I still do not know where my hat is, but Pro Jersey Sports has my money and I still want my Chicago Bears hat. STOP HARRASSING ME!!! YOU HAVE MY MONEY BUT YOU HAVE NOT SENT ME MY HAT!!!! YOU HAVE STOLEN MY MONEY AND I AM FILING A POLICE REPORT AGAINST YOUR SCAM COMPANY!!! You have scammed and stolen from the wrong person. My attorney is on the phone, as I write this, with the Illinois State Attorney's office to file a verbal complaint against Pro Jersey Sports with the Illinois State Attorney. We will be following up with notarized testimony and a written legal complaint against your company for taking my order and my money and then willfully failing to deliver my hat and refusal to assist in locating the hat which was NEVER received by USPS because you NEVER SENT THE HAT TO ME. This is blatant and willful fraud and, with the help of my attorney, I am going to shut down your scam company and report you to the U.S. FTC since this order was placed online.

They really supported me and helped me while I was looking for a jersey for my son (who's doing a TikTok series and just went through a breakup, so I wanted to cheer him up). Great team, great vibes, and such a clean, well-run store.

This location is kinda dumpy. If you can go to one of the Woodfield or Oak Brook locations instead,…read moredo that. I wanted to build my own Anastasia eyeshadow palette, but sadly like half of the display slots were empty, and the shadows they did have on display were gouged up and/or just empty pans (dude, switch those out). This was the case with a good portion of the displays throughout the store. How's a girl supposed to swatch if everything is missing?! They also don't carry a lot of the brands that other locations have, and I wasn't thrilled with the customer service. Essentially, the woman at the counter made it clear that she didn't believe me about not having collected my free birthday gift yet. Listen - I'm fine with not getting the gift, but I spend so much money at Sephora (VIB Rouge), and you can see on my account that I have like 3000 unused Beauty Insider points. I'm not a freeloader. I asked her what the gift was because I thought for a second that maybe I really did collect it and just forgot, and all she said was "Kat Von D", so I had to ask her to elaborate. I could tell she just thought I was lying because she got really short with me after that, so I just left it alone and paid. It was bizarre and I felt like she thought I was some kind of scammer, trying to steal something that was free to begin with. Whatevs. Maybe I'll get my birthday gift next year after spending another $2000 at the store.

I was used to a blinding display/array of a gazillion products that I never knew I needed, a bunch of sales associates either stalking me endlessly or ignoring me completely, and sucking up vast amounts of time trying to decide which of the gazillion products were actually best for my needs. Or even worse, if you see my Sephora Old Orchard review, sales associates giving me horrible advice. Then came Samantha, the best Sephora associate there probably is on the entire planet - and quite possibly the prettiest. She alone is responsible for this 5 star review. You see, I have needs. A lot of them. Function, budget, and pretty things. While I am a sucker for the last thing, the previous two keep my spending in line these days. I no longer have the frivolity of wasting money on products that don't suit my needs and cost me too much to find out that they don't suit my needs. I walked into this Sephora and immediately was struck by how well organized it was, and condensed in a space much smaller than a regular Sephora store. While that might mean that they don't carry everything a regular store does, I believe that actually worked to my advantage in not overwhelming me with sights, scents, and sales associates. I told Samantha what my needs were and she addressed them all with amazing precision. She was able to suggest everything from cleansers to treatments to fragrances to makeup - all based on my needs - and I gotta tell you, she nailed everything perfectly. I am in love with my current skin-care regimin - that is actually yielding results, and all of my pretty things since acquired at her suggestions. If not for Samantha, I would not have reached VIB status with Sephora this year -when you spend $350 in one year. So, thank you for that! With this location being closest to where I live anyway, I don't see the need for visiting another.
