He told me that I called him 4x that day in regard to my 86 yr old -Mom's Flower arrangement! I did do that, I made sure not to disturb them on Mother's Day because I know they would be extremely busy! Bernard-the owner has the very finest flowers on Staten Island, however, Irving, perhaps who was having a bad day acted extremely unprofessional! He informed me that he was going back to my Mom's house to redeliver the flowers to the given address! This made my Mom extremely pensive, understandably! I said, "She doesn't have them! " which he said he no longer wanted my business! I came to Staten Island 20 years ago and have sent several arrangements from the Hylan blvd store as well! My sympathy goes out to BERNARD -because he has no way of knowing how people are being treated by Irving! Please be advised that the flowers are Splendid and the arrangements are some of the finest I have ever witnessed but the attitude of Irving is appalling! Also long stemmed roses to give to our mother in laws. The flowers for the bridal party were delivered to my house so we had them for pictures and the other flowers were brought directly to the venue and set up there I also had a flower arrangement for our sweetheart table. The flowers were beautiful and in perfect condition. The bouquets were beautifully wrapped. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I liked how there were sample testers for the lotions. Also there's your usual card selection in the back along with gift wraps, gift bags, and decorations to pick up. I also love cheese, but I'm just tempted to buy one of those mystery cheeses near the shelves or those seasonal delights/chocolates/cookies on the middle table. Also, I'd come back for the Pre de Provence soaps, Crabtree & Evelynn sets, and Tea Forte samples/cannisters. This is probably going to be my favorite shop.

I recently visited Ariemma's Garden Center in Staten Island and had a very upsetting experience…read moreregarding my service animal. Upon arrival, I was told that I could only enter if I carried my service dog. I attempted to calmly explain the ADA regulations, which do not require service animals to be carried and specifically state that they must be allowed to accompany their handler on foot. Despite this, the staff member insisted that I still needed to carry the dog and claimed that because there were "no identifying markers," the dog wasn't a service animal. This comment showed a clear lack of understanding of ADA law, as service animals are not required to wear any special vests, tags, or identification. When I tried again to explain the law and clarify the situation, the staff member became verbally aggressive--raising his voice and making the situation feel hostile and threatening. The entire interaction was completely unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. This experience left me feeling disrespected, discriminated against, and unsafe. I genuinely hope the management chooses to educate their staff on ADA requirements and how to interact appropriately with customers who rely on service animals. Needless to say I left without spending my money. Amazon wins again, possible lawsuit to follow.
