I originally joined another location of OrangeTheory Fitness but I visited the Langley location…read moreonce and I found myself coming back when my schedule permitted. The establishment is located in the strip mall right across the street from Willowbrook mall. Enough free parking and I've never had a problem. The studio is in shape of an L and the numbering system on all the equipment is apparently a little "backwards" from most other locations, but I don't mind. I have had classes with a few different coaches and they each have their own style and way of infusing fun and motivation into the classes. There is a basic structure to the classes, but the exercises are always a little different so you never feel like you are doing the exact same workout twice. Complimentary use of the shower as long as you bring your own towel. I like this location because the staff and coaches take the time to get to know you as a person especially if they are a new face to you. They were already greeting me by name on my second visit. A very nice touch that brings a smile to my face before my workout! Admittedly it is a little pricier than your standard gym membership and you have to another upfront cost for use of the heart monitor. It also works better if you download the app and sign up for classes ahead of time. But if you feel like you need someone to guide you through a workout and you push yourself more as a result of it (I know I do), then OrangeTheory Fitness is worth a consideration.

Love this gym! From the bright smiles at the front desk to the motivating coaches, this gym has…read morebeen impressive. I started off by attending classes 2x a week but then increased my plan to unlimited. The staff are wonderful. Whenever I've had an issue or a concern, the issue has been dealt with quickly and professionally. I love how each class is different and targets one's endurance, strength or power. The coaches are inspiring and push members to do their best. If they feel that you can lift heavier weights or increase your speed little more on the treadmill, they'll push you to do it. They get to know people's names which creates a sense of belonging. I love how there are people of varying places in their healthy living journey at the gym. No one is there to judge. Everyone is there with one goal in mind. I highly recommend this gym!

I am being generous in giving this gym two stars. If you can get a great rate, it might be worth…read moreit. If you are paying their standard quoted rates they don't offer much compared to what you can get elsewhere. Facilities are not overly well maintained, equipment is old. Nothing fancy, but if you just want to use a few basic machines or weights it might do the trick. Staff are generally pleasant, and members are more friendly than many other gyms. FYI website is not a very good source of information as most of the photos are stock photos, not necessarily accurate representations of the classes, and show the wrong schedule. (For example, "muscle up" is a weights class using a barbell and sometimes free weights, high reps. They show people on exercise balls which are not used in this class.) I purchased a groupon to this gym so the rate was really good. I tried their "Muscle Up" class and was instantly hooked. I did it three mornings a week pretty consistently. They had a wonderful child minding woman and my kids liked to go there. I was elated to find something that worked, schedule wise, kid wise, that enjoyed and that was helping me get back into shape. I was hooked and would have stayed there long term, no reason to look elsewhere. Then after I committed to another full year at a good rate, they changed the child minding person and cut two out of three morning classes. It's pretty hard to stay in shape one day a week. While they have added some different classes,, they are mainly in the evenings and I tried the one available other morning class but it wasn't my thing. The attitude of the owner is clearly one of not caring what his members ask for or want as all the women who consistently packed the morning muscle up classes went and asked him to reconsider. He keeps saying this is what people want, today he told me it was a "democracy" yet no one in the class has said this is what they want. I have given up asking and waiting for them to reconsider. They earned my long term business through the groupon, got me hooked on a weights class and then pushed me to go to the competition.

TAC is located in a small plaza next to a McDonalds (ironic I know), and looks deceivingly small from the outside. Upon entering you have to swipe your membership card at the front desk. They have a co-ed weight room right next to the front desk and a women's only cardio and weight area towards the back. The women's weight area is huge. Every time I've been it's been nearly empty, which is great if you need certain machines. They also have boxing bags and mitts, which I'm a huge fan of. They also have separate areas for classes -- a spin room, yoga room and aerobics room. Their locker rooms are clean, with full changing rooms, showers, lockers and towels. They also have a hair dryer and hair products if you need them. You'll need to bring your own lock or you can leave your stuff in a locker lock-less, I just wouldn't leave anything valuable in there. They have everything I need here all for $35/month (classes are additional). I'm a happy camper. If you're looking for a decently priced gym with great classes, come to TAC.

She didn't even say goodbye or anything. I don't know if it's because I make weird faces while I work out but I saw the personal trainer and front desk girl laughing. Might be a coincidence but regardless, made the end of my workout crap by not saying bye or anything. Facilities are kept clean though and good range of equipment. If you're looking for a decent gym with a small crowd this is for you. Customer service could be a little better so that's the only thing keeping me from a 3 star vote.
