Pete is the man! We stopped by and they were only open for appointments and they were prepping for their member party. He still happily accommodated us. We bought a couple bottles and he allowed us to stay and enjoy the grounds. Chardonnay was great! Bought Sauv Blanc but have not tried it yet This place is beautiful.

Cardella Winery - Harvest Hosts Stay What a gem of a stop! Cardella Winery was exactly what we hope for when using Harvest Hosts -- welcoming, peaceful, and genuinely special. The setting is beautiful and quiet, with plenty of room to park comfortably and relax after a day on the road. The hosts were friendly, gracious, and made us feel truly welcome, not just like another overnight stay. You can tell they take pride in both their winery and the experience they offer guests. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, perfect for enjoying the surroundings and unwinding. And the wine? Excellent. Thoughtfully crafted and well worth tasting (and taking some home). This was one of those stops that feels personal and memorable, not rushed or commercial. We're very grateful to Cardella Winery for being part of Harvest Hosts and sharing their space with travelers. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this stop to anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic winery experience. Thank you for the hospitality -- this one's a standout

For $35, I got tastings of delicious wine, 4 tacos and a bag of kettle corn. My DD paid $20 for 4 tacos, a bag of kettle corn, plenty of bottled water and beautiful music! The tastings were exactly that..a small taste. The band was a trio who played really good. All 3 were great singers. There were many umbrellas for shade and PLENTY of small bottles of water. I bought a case of their 2019 Rose of Sangiovese for $120! It was a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

I'll start this off by stating that I really wish that I could add on more stars than five. They deserve at least ten! I was just married at this venue a day ago and never in the slightest would I take back choosing to have my wedding at Una Bella Giornata. First off, Maria (the event coordinator), is worth choosing Una Bella ten-fold. Not only is she on top of literally everything, she is a person with a heart of gold. Sarah and I left the venue without a single complaint and that is because of how professional she is. She runs the show and I wish I could just have her to coordinate my life because every time Sarah or I stressed she calmed us down and always left us feeling assured that we were going to have the best wedding we could have ever dreamed of. Sarah and I honestly feel like we are apart of the Una Bella family and will be visiting them often. To keep it simple the rest of the staff was the most helpful, hard working, and sincere group of people we could have met. Especially Melissa and Mia ( you girls rock!!!) All I have to say is that you need to go out and just give the venue a look. It's beautiful and family members, friends, and every single person who attended said that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. You'd think that they said that to make the bride and I feel better or even special, but I truly feel these comments were sincere and truthful. This is all because of the staff and love that Una Bella puts into their work. (Message for Cardella) We will always be grateful for everything you guys did for us! Love, Adam and Sarah Thompkins 08/30/2014

This venue is gorgeous year round! My wedding was wonderful and all my guests were blown away with the beauty. This venue stood out to me because of the amenities. They are a winery that allows hard liquor and they have a midnight curfew as opposed to 10pm like most other venues. The venue also comes with a beautiful 4 bedroom bridal house that in included from Friday to Sunday and they let you have your rehearsal dinner at the venue Friday night and you can stay and hang out till 9pm! You can bring in all your own food and alcohol which helps save money. Maria is the venue coordinator, her and her staff (staff is included in the price) ran the wedding smoothly without any hiccups. I highly suggest this venue to anyone in the Central Valley!

We had so much fun, it was nice, clean, and had very friendly staff. Met the owner and her son and they were welcoming, and talked about up coming events along with her wine that we got to try. The wine was really good and each one we tried paired really well with the pieces of chocolate we got. I would recommend attending this event again, and if there's events coming up just GO TRY THEM. We sat outside and ordered some food to enjoy the sun and just enjoy being outside. I will definitely be coming back here.

We had friends playing the live music so sat on the patio and ordered a bottle of their sparkling rose. It was a little on the sour side (not dry but actually a little sour), but not bad. My friends ordered the Primitivo and said it was more on the sweet side. Tasting here is only $10 if you prefer to taste several of their wines. The weather was beautiful, and we had a pleasant time on the patio. Sean was our host, and he was very attentive along with his wife who checked on us several times. Definitely a must try in the Fresno area if you have never been.

I'm so glad they got rid of the pottery potties, they now have full bathrooms outside and they are really NICE! They sell beer now from Riley's brewery, they also have slushies, and a great selection of wine. Check out their social media outlets for all up coming events, and music. I'm not a big wine fan so usually I'll do the slurp thing to taste the notes or take a sip or two and then pass my glass off to my husband, rather than dumping it. I've been to umpteen wineries around California, the US and internationally. This winery gives, hands down, the stingiest pours I've ever experienced. I could maybe get two sips out of a pour. And yet this tasting was $15 for 4 wines, but if you're a party of 6 or more, the fee for the same tasting goes up to $20 per person! Since when does pouring maybe a half ounce into more glasses warrant everyone in the party being charged $5 more bucks a piece? It feels stingy. I went to 4 wineries in the same weekend I visited Crū. J. Lohr in Paso charges $20 per person for 6 generous pours and a free pencil with herb seeds to plant at home. Eberle Winery in Paso does free tastings and yet have generous pours, free bottled water and a free tour of the underground storage facility. Quady in Madera charges $5 per person for a tasting and not only were the pours generous, we tried 7 wines, got to double back on our favorites before we ordered a half case. The server was nice and personable. I have no complaints about her. Overall it doesn't feel like a fun wine tasting experience when it seems like they're rationing their wine. While not the end of the world, there isn't much of a view for the outdoor patio because the tasting room patio is between the building and a fence with a road on the other side. If you're wanting to see vineyards while you sip, this isn't the spot for you. There was also a couple with a toddler at a table - with an iPad, playing a video outloud without headphones - while the parents were wine tasting inside, so just know that kids are allowed if that matters to you. It was nice because driving into here they had a sign in the front saying closed for a private event. So we had the whole winery to ourselves, felt very intimate. 3 Oaks was super accommodating with all the cute customization. They had one wine bottle with a happy birthday sticker of my friend's name on it. There was a hanged chalk sign at the bar with a happy birthday message, and the wine tasting menu also had a happy birthday message on there with his name that we got to keep. The winery itself is medium size. It looks like it's someone's back yard because there was a house with a pool and the rest of the land is the vineyard. They had so many chickens walking around. Our host Chris, told us that we the head leader chicken was name Marshmallow which was so cute. You park in this rock lot and the walk to the winery which is very close. We got to sit under the shade during the sun light because our reservation was 6:30pm. Although, it was very hot to sit outside for the summer time. There were some ceiling fans to help us stay cool in the 100 degree weather. They offered ice cold water cups as well. We were able to bring our own food and cake for the event. They had so many different types of vineyards with signs on them. It was very pretty. The barn and the seating areas had a cute hang out charm to it. Chris was wonderful with his hosting skills and his service was above and beyond my expectations. He was very personable and nice. He helped us put the food out on the table, placed utensils around, and took a bunch of pictures for our group. He also was very informative about all the wines and ingredients. He was pretty funny knowing some random facts too. I enjoyed talking to him. He even gave us some tips about taking photos during the sunset for golden hour. My friend ended buying a bottle and I believe it was $32. All the wines tasted delicious. The unique flavors tasted rich. My favorite was the Yacamastu Tempranillo for red and 2023 Pammie Grigio for white. Too bad we couldn't taste Rosé wines cuz they were sold out. The tasting itself was $35/person which was not bad. It was my boyfriend's first time wine tasting and he enjoyed too. Bathrooms were nice and clean just very hot. Saw they have board games, nice lounge areas, and merch shop. It's nice that they hold even other events like yoga. I definitely would come back to this vineyard. I thought it was sweet that the owner requested for our group photos thank you!

The place is really cute and super tiny compared to a lot of wineries in madera. It has a cute bar area with really nice chairs and a little area to buy books and market items. We sat down at the bar area and didn't get greeted right away it took a few minutes it seemed like they were overwhelmed with all of the people there. We wanted 3 tastings in the hopes to have a charcuterie board and get a bottle of wine if we liked one of them. While sitting there a couple who had a baby sat at the bar and both were drinking wine (sorry I don't think it's okay) I understand parents need a day or night out (I'm a parent too) but babies don't belong at wineries or breweries. It's just how I feel. While sitting at the bar area the owners and whoever else the ladies were to the establishment didn't have it together they all kept overstepping one another and they looked and seemed overwhelmed. And they kept talking about it in front of us. I found out the new owners have only been there 6 months. So I understand they're still trying to figure things out. But it did take awhile to get a new pour, so I finally asked after 3 tastings if we can buy a charcuterie board, one of the ladies told me they don't have anymore they were sold out. We were bummed because we were hungry, and they didn't have any snacks to buy. So we were on our last tastings and out of nowhere a board appears and was now being bought from the couple with the baby who also got to sample the slushie they serve as well. We left unhappy and not understanding why they just lied to us about not having a board for sale. The wine was great but how we were treated compared to the people around us not so much. It's so unfortunate to like something so much but the service that's given to you and different for others is not okay. I love trying new places but sometimes it's not what's it's cut out to be.
