Pete is the man! We stopped by and they were only open for appointments and they were prepping for their member party. He still happily accommodated us. We bought a couple bottles and he allowed us to stay and enjoy the grounds. Chardonnay was great! Bought Sauv Blanc but have not tried it yet This place is beautiful. read more

Evening wine tasting last night and the wines were exceedingly tasty. The presenter was very experienced and pleasant. The group was a number of overnite RV enthusiasts brought together by circumstances; we got along very well. The winery was jewel tucked into the expanse of the Central Valley. Well worth the time to contact Cardella for the memories. read more

For $35, I got tastings of delicious wine, 4 tacos and a bag of kettle corn. My DD paid $20 for 4 tacos, a bag of kettle corn, plenty of bottled water and beautiful music! The tastings were exactly that..a small taste. The band was a trio who played really good. All 3 were great singers. There were many umbrellas for shade and PLENTY of small bottles of water. I bought a case of their 2019 Rose of Sangiovese for $120! It was a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. read more

I'll start this off by stating that I really wish that I could add on more stars than five. They deserve at least ten! I was just married at this venue a day ago and never in the slightest would I take back choosing to have my wedding at Una Bella Giornata. First off, Maria (the event coordinator), is worth choosing Una Bella ten-fold. Not only is she on top of literally everything, she is a person with a heart of gold. Sarah and I left the venue without a single complaint and that is because of how professional she is. She runs the show and I wish I could just have her to coordinate my life because every time Sarah or I stressed she calmed us down and always left us feeling assured that we were going to have the best wedding we could have ever dreamed of. Sarah and I honestly feel like we are apart of the Una Bella family and will be visiting them often. To keep it simple the rest of the staff was the most helpful, hard working, and sincere group of people we could have met. Especially Melissa and Mia ( you girls rock!!!) All I have to say is that you need to go out and just give the venue a look. It's beautiful and family members, friends, and every single person who attended said that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. You'd think that they said that to make the bride and I feel better or even special, but I truly feel these comments were sincere and truthful. This venue is gorgeous year round! My wedding was wonderful and all my guests were blown away with the beauty. This venue stood out to me because of the amenities. They are a winery that allows hard liquor and they have a midnight curfew as opposed to 10pm like most other venues. The venue also comes with a beautiful 4 bedroom bridal house that in included from Friday to Sunday and they let you have your rehearsal dinner at the venue Friday night and you can stay and hang out till 9pm! You can bring in all your own food and alcohol which helps save money. Maria is the venue coordinator, her and her staff (staff is included in the price) ran the wedding smoothly without any hiccups. I highly suggest this venue to anyone in the Central Valley! read more

What a great find. We were rolling north, along I5 and checked Google to see if there were any winery's along our route. We found Cardella Winery!!! (Exit West Panoche Rd #368) I gave them a call to see if they were open for tasting and they said to come on by and they would provide us a sample of their wines. Nathan Cardella was as gracious of host, and passionate wine maker as you will ever meet. He gave us a tour of their beautiful grounds and let us pick out a few of his excellent wines to taste. We tried the 09 Barbera, 09 Sangiovese and the 07 Syrah. All were very good with the Sangiovese being excellent! We bought all three plus a bottle of their 09 Petit Verdot. Wine tasting does not get better than this! read more

I just had my wedding at this venue. This place is absolutely beautiful. If you choose to have an event here there is so much that is included such as the large house on the property and the shuttle service to and from the nearby hotel for your guests, just to name a few. The lighting on the venue grounds is amazing. This place looks like a million dollars and is well worth it. The wine is great as you can purchase it directly from the winery. Their wine was a great hit with our guests. The Rosato was the evening favorite. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they ever attended. Finally, Maria (the coordinator/manager) is the best. She went above and beyond to make our wedding amazing. Maria truly cared about us and will forever remain a life long friend to our family. We do not have enough words to express how grateful and honored we were to have her plan our wedding. We were married at Cardella on November 28, 2015. The venue is breathtaking and the staff is amazing. Maria was always there to answer any questions and even just listened to me vent and have a slight bride moment. The bridal house is great. Huge, clean and so close. It was wonderful having all my girls with me the night before! We've had so many wedding guests express how amazing the wedding was and we owe quite a lot of credit to Maria, her staff and the beauty of Cardella. Mia, my right-hand-gal the day of the wedding was literally there each time I turned around. I hardly lifted a finger. They strive to give you a stress-free experience, and we certainly had one. The wine is quite good and the prosecco....YUM! I can't imagine how hectic the setup/breakdown and wrangling of the wedding guests really is...I guess that is the point. We never had to deal with any stress the day of! We will always have a special place for Cardella in our hearts, for Maria and all of the staff. My dream wedding came off without a hitch. I'm a wedding photographer , and have worked with Cardella winery (Una Bella) a few times over the past couple of years. This venue is absolutely gorgeous with countless photo ops! We spent several hours visiting this superb winery as part of an amazing tour. The owner Aldo cooked us a five course lunch with wine pairings that we will not soon forget. Think Brunello risotto with Brunello reduction paired with Brunelli. The winery has rooms (and pool) which they rent which when combined with Aldo's cooking and his personal wine tours, looks amazing. read more

After checking out many other venues in the greater Fresno area - we decided to go with Una Bella Giornata at Cardella Winery. We didn't want the banquet room at a hotel chain or the standard cookie cutter event center for our daughter's wedding celebration. We had not been treated very nicely when we approached two other wineries (no return phone calls and a flat refusual to give us basic info "until we signed a contract"). Maria - the event coordinator at Cardella - seemed a little bit too good to be true. In actuality - she was a delight to work with - coming through on everything thing we talked about - and in a timely manner. The grounds are beautiful and unique - I was afraid that our guests would feel it was too far away from Fresno. People said they enjoyed the drive - and were totally blown away at what a jewel this site is. We had a beautiful summer's eve - with an incredible full moon. Long banquet tables set with wildflowers, burlap runners and lots of candles graced the lawn. Cardella strung beautiful fairy lights and it was breath-taking. Had a great band and a dance floor (floor supplied by Cardella) Loved the fact that most everything was bundled in the per person price - made it fairly painless for the parents of the bride - in keeping track of expenses. The wine was really good - Sangiovese was raved about. Maria's staff was great and accommodated all of our requests with a smile. Maria went out of her way to design and execute a board for our rather complicated seating arrangements. They set up a pie bar that looked like it was right out of a photo shoot for Bride's Magazine. Kudos. Our event received rave reviews from our guests - some who flew in from Washington DC and came from Napa Valley. Most of all the bride, the groom and their parents were very happy with the evening. My husband and I were looking for a winery on our way to Humbult State to pick up our daughter and we came across this hidden Gem! This is an absolutely beautiful place! Pedro was very helpful with the wine tasting, everything he selected for us was perfect. He was very helpful and friendly. We had the place to ourselves and walked around just to admire the scenery. We had our wedding here in May. It was a wonderful experience! Maria is so helpful through out the entire process and takes the stress off of the bride! Her staff were so wonderful, professional and helpful on our wedding day, taking care of everything we needed and things we hadn't even thought of! From helping lace up my dress to holding my lipstick for touch ups, they were there for us every step of the way! The grounds are beautiful, and cardella provides a Beautiful house for the weekend and also does all of the set up and take down, which is SO appreciated! We got married April 9 2016 or better known now as the day the heavens opened up and flooded everything. Needless to say Mendota had been used to drought weather they didn't exactly have flood protocol. Maria, Mia and her entire staff made the changing circumstances seem trivial and routine. My daughter and son in law were married at Cardella on May 2nd. What a perfect night! From the first meeting with Maria until our final goodbyes on May 3rd, Maria and her staff including Melissa and Mia were with us every step of the way. Melissa did an awesome helping with the rehearsal dinner (Mattie's pizza is awesome!) and all the clean up that they wouldn't let us do! The best thing we did was use Maria's suggested vendors who all did a great job. We did have a couple of hic-ups...yes we used a vendor not on the suggested list and Maria did a great job taking care of the problem with this vender without the bride knowing! The Cardella team communicated with each other so well they even knew that the brides grandmother had not yet arrived and made sure we did not start the ceremony until "Grandma Koo Koo" was located. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the wine was superb. I never could have thought this would go as well as it did.....so many compliments from our guests. A great time was had by all and most importantly the bride and groom said it was the best day ever! Cardella winery is as good as it gets. We held our wedding there on May 2nd, and my parents, husband and I agree that Maria and her staff made it the best day of our lives. I never could have imagined our day turning out the way it did, and it was because of them that everything ran so smoothly. I had a couple minor problems and Mia and Maria didn't let it ruin my day, in fact, they had them taken care of before I even knew what was going on. The house we stayed in was absolutely stunning inside and out, and the grounds were very neatly kept. Everything was exactly as I wanted it to be, from the set up of all the DIY's, to the placement of the chairs and place settings. All the staff members really seemed to enjoy themselves and enjoy what they were assigned to do. Bathrooms were always clean through the night (and any time we went out to plan anything) and the items that Maria provides for the bathroom "emergency kit" was stocked. Mia was by my side from the moment she picked us up from the house until the last song of the night, including bringing me glasses of the best wine! She did my bustle, took my veil, and kept anything of mine that I had taken off or changed safe inside the house. She also made sure I was okay right before I walked down the aisle. I had the option to go to Jamaica and have my wedding there or have it at locally and when I saw Una Bella I just couldn't say no to it. Living in Dinuba, Ca, it was quite the drive, and as I informed my guests of the distance they all had big eyes, I kept telling them it would be worth it and they agreed completely when they arrived at Cardella. It was defiantly worth every penny, mile, and minute. I always felt 100% confident in their decisions to make it look as beautiful as possible and they not only carried out my vision, but they exceeded it.
