What a great selection of board games and tabletop stuff. Dungeons and Dragons figures, Warhammer, Pokémon Cards, tons of board games and a whole wall of board games to demo and play with your friends to try before you buy. I don't have much time to game as I used to but it was a clean, friendly staffed store with tons of stuff actually in STOCK. I LOVED IT! The unfortunate part of some of these stores, and let's be honest, is the smell of the state of some of these game shops. This one was clean and well lit. It did not smell of anything but fresh air. I know that's a weird thing to say but if you've never been to a Con or store like this, you won't understand but if you know, you know. I ended up buying a pack of Dungeons and Dragons for "old times sake" and got the exact figure I wanted. Gotta reward the small businesses for being open in these times. The rear right is set up for comics, a few comic related toys, and graphic novels. There are some boxes of old comics as well, but the collection is rather small. (I've seen larger collections at conventions.) The guy behind the counter was friendly and made sure to let me know to ask if I had any questions or needed assistance. They are always so knowledgeable about everything and are more than happy to chat you up about anything in the game realm. If they happen to not have what you want or need, they are also very motivated to help direct you elsewhere. It's a magical and intriguing place to walk around and get lost in. Looking around we found a Groupon for an escape room in Mooresville. It was quite a hall from Castleton...but for the price we figured..why not! So walking in..this is not your typical escape room...it's a gaming area with a escape room in the back. The "room" is not fancy. The frame was PVC and walls were thin plywood...the decor was good and there was two rooms despite initial impression. Though this place was not as fancy as traditional "Escape Rooms" I would have to admit, we all ( 4 adults and 2 teens under 16) enjoyed it. It was challenging enough that we were stumped but easy enough that with a little team work we were able to solve the puzzle and "escape"... The staff was really nice and they actually have cool games ranging from ur fantasy games to regular board games for families.
