I'd avoid this place if you have a choice. Here's how my buying experience went:
-Spoke to Chester at length about the condition of the vehicle and was assured it was well-maintained, had good tires, and no significant rust.
- I flew cross country to see and purchase the vehicle. When I arrived I found that the rear tires were nearly bald and the driver seat was broken (both the back support and the seat pan). They did agree to put 2 new tires on it, but made no concession for the seat replacement.
- On the drive home, we discovered a significant transmission issue that we have yet to resolve.
- The "new paint job" they advertised is now bubbling up everywhere to reveal a significant rust problem underneath.
- As if that weren't enough, we later found a transaction receipt in the glove box showing that they bought this van at auction for $3,200 before they sold it to me for $12,000.
It is clear to me that more effort went into covering defects than fixing them on this vehicle. Buyer beware! read more
