This is one of the most efficient Urgent Care clinics I have been to. My boyfriend came to Carbon Health a couple weeks ago around Christmas when he was sick with a coronavirus, sinus infection and bronchitis and he was very pleased with the care he received. They ran all sorts of tests to determine exactly what type of virus he had so that he could be prescribed the correct antibiotic. We came back today on a Sunday afternoon because his eye was bloodshot. The place was clean, check-in was quick and he was seen within about ten minutes or less. He was also able to schedule his appointment on the Carbon Health app which was easy to use and there were plenty of slots available. The provider he saw was professional and competent. I was having some sinus pressure myself, so I made an appointment right after his and saw the same practitioner. I wish they had more locations as this is an excellent place to go if you can't get in to see your primary care doctor and want something minor looked at. Just beware they do not accept HMO insurance at this time. We both have PPO plans, so didn't have a problem. read more

Called multiple times to schedule an appointment for my daughter to get a physical done before camp because you can't schedule it online for kids. Put on hold once and nobody ever came back after 10 minutes. Called a few more times and directed to voicemail which I really didn't want to do because I knew they wouldn't call back. After the tenth time calling I left the voicemail. Never got a call back. What a terribly run business. read more

The staff are untrained and unprofessional. I arrived at 1:15p but the door sign says staff are on lunch until 1:30p so I waited only to be greeted very rudely- because I didn't have my insurance card the lady princess had an attitude and told her coworker " I don't know what to do because I let someone slide already" although they told me over the phone that my insurance was covered as I called ahead to verify. After 15 minutes of waiting I left - it was a waste of my time. read more

Claims to be open. Tried twice to during the supposed time that they are open. Waited half an hour both times but no one was there. Apparently they either changed their hours and never updated anything or just decided not to come to work. read more

Staff has no idea how to enter your insurance information and will only direct bill you so you need to pay for service upfront. I have had Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 15 years and showed my card and ID and even after speaking with BCBS customer service they could not figure it out and wanted my credit card before I could be seen. I tried 2 separate times and I also saw another person have the same issue so we both left. Go directly to BILH Urgent Care in Chesnut Hill they are top notch and have very competent staff read more

Very clean facility, no wait at my appointment time (in and out within twenty minutes), knowledgeable medical staff - the nurses and dr were all awesome. Great experience - would recommend! read more

- the young man that came into the room with me and another "nurse" didn't know how to put a blood pressure cuff on me. -Provider didn't introduce herself - very poor bedside manner - I told her I wanted IV fluids and Zofran - asked if she could audio record visit, but after she told me that she couldn't give me IV fluids because they were closing for lunch, she left the room, came back in and asked if we could start over because "something happened" to the other recording (I'm sure she deleted it because of what she said) - wrecked both of my arms trying to put in IV - after a few minutes she sped up the drip of the IV, which then gave me a headache. So she took it out and sent me on my way. - before I left I asked about the zofran. She told me that she didn't want to give me too many things at once. So I had to go to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription as I was feeling even more sick than when I walked in. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Made an appointment the night prior for wart removal on my son, told employee all symptoms and checked that my insurance was accepted, employee said we are all set and to come in the following evening. Show up to appointment and front desk asks for my sons id and insurance card, immediately says we do not accept this insurance (masshealth) and would not give id back until she could take a picture of them both for "her manager and a reason why the appointment was canceled" so one of the two employees doesnt know whats going on because the first told me the insurance was accepted, she even got the numbers off the insurance card on the call so did they even type them in? it was also very hot today and inside the office it was atleast 100 hot and stuffy no a/c on. Overall a pointless trip and il be checking with my insurance incase they try to send a bogus bill to them because taking a picture of the id and insurance card even though we essentially just went in to say hi is sketchy read more

We arrived here at 9 AM, which is the listed opening time on both the website and on the office door. We called the office and no one answered, but the machine confirmed they were accepting walk ins. We waited a few minutes before making a same-day appointment online. No one arrived until 9:15 when someone showed up to put a sign on the door that they were closed for the day. It's unacceptable for an urgent care, which people are only coming to because they're in desperate need of medical help, to randomly not be open during business hours. Very disappointing. read more

I walked in after making an appointment but, as i walked in they cancelled my appointment. They did take me and I was very pleased with all of the employees. Very professional and courteous. I was treated quickly and would recommend this facility. Extremely clean facility. read more

I feel bad giving just 1 star as the providers at Carbon Health were wonderful. I am giving 1 star though, because I paid out-of-pocket due to confusion with my insurance. My insurance subsequently paid for my visit, and I have been leaving messages for Carbon Health's billing department for 2 months without a response or refund. With a more responsive billing department, I would give them 5 stars. read more
