The major issue was with the food, and well, the lack of identity. I ordered a Burrito to go and lemonade. Eagle Pass has a few restaurants that have amazing lemonade; this was not one of them. The burrito was a hearty size, but I wish it was smaller, that way I would not have felt as bad about getting rid of it. The entire thing was burnt. The simple family-owned hotel always has immaculately clean rooms, the employees are personable and friendly, and the beds in the rooms closer to the office (upstairs) are actually more comfortable than the ones at the hotel at the casino! Yes, you read it right, I've even asked where they purchased the mattresses because I would like to purchase one. Yes, they're THAT COMFORTABLE. Bar and Grill - free breakfast "buffet" is included with the stay. It's a simple menu of eggs, beans, bread, cereals, juice and milk and coffee. Simple but DELICIOUS! The salsa is the best part. Yum! I have recommended this hotel to several of my family and friends.
