We arrived about 5:45pm and it was pretty empty. We were greeted right away and given seating of our choice. The place is beautiful from the outside in! The ambiance and decor is trendy and would be a good spot for a special occasion celebration. Even the bathrooms were soo nice! The oversized, full body mirror was definitely a plus, but the bathroom was welp kept. The service was great! Our waiter was Luis/z, the receipt said "Chacho", he was sweet, attentive, and made some great suggestions. Everyone else we interacted with were also friendly and pleasant. We ended up being here for over 5 hours! We just kept ordering drinks and food and they were also nice enough to put the basketball game on for us. We ordered so much food and drink, I lost track of the items name (especially since they were in Spanish). The only thing we collectively agreed was not good was the guacamole; it lacked flavor and we did not eat even half of it. Everything else was great and so were the drinks! I included a pic of the receipt for the items and the prices. We are out there for another 2 months and we will definitely be back!

Our group decided to stop in for the Seafood Buffet after whomever answered the phone had said Friday was indeed Seafood Buffet night. The restaurant was full, and seemed to be set up for the usual, however after a 10 minute wait at our booth for service, we were informed the cook had called off. This wasn't our first experience at Malinda's, the breakfast buffet on weekends, and the few other times we dined at the Seafood Buffet, pretty much solidified this place as a decent place in Del Rio. After perusing the insanely priced menu for very typical American, Mexican bar grub, we decided to leave for somewhere else. Not a big deal that we spent money elsewhere, having your business dependent on a, or the only cook reflects poorly on the establishment, and those who are in charge of the operation.

The breakfast buffet had a lot of items to choice from, but the nice part was that they had a chef making omelets to your order at the end of the breakfast buffet. My ham, cheese, and onion omelet was very good. Service was very good at filling your coffee and iced tea.
