So I went and got this car from there on 8-2-2023 from Luke he lie and told me the engine was new this and that it's a good running car he fixed something on it to where I had to go to the dealership so the can program it back so he paid for it and all but the dealership did a vehicle inspection on their own for free can back and told me the tires was no good and the strucks control arm, bushings and a few other things was messed up so I was pissed I went back up there to talk to Luke about it and he told me they just say that to try to get money out of you so I bought it as of today I done put over $4000 in this dame car the man is no fuckin good DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this man if I see him and he was in some sort of trouble I would keep on walking so LUKE I don't even care I hope you see this because YOU FUCKIN SUCK for real a d to top that I'm still paying on this SMH they want me to add a star will I will because I want everyone to see this so I GIVE IT A Zero star ok read more

I had a very good experience buying a car from Car Hut. Here's a summary: Cons: - In some of our communication, Luke was, at times, was slow to respond. Pros: - Very comfortable, non-threatening process. - Luke is very knowledgeable about cars - it seems like a passion of his - and that shows in the form of the care and pride he has in his product. - The car we bought was in great condition. My very trustworthy and competent mechanic checked it out and said the same. (Not all cars are the same, so do your research.) To expand on the above positives... Luke's communication was very different from other car salespersons/dealers. There was no pressure, guilt, tricks, or other tactics. He just spoke plainly and it was very conversational. Luke gave me a great deal on a 2013 f150. Next day a code popped engine underboost. I was excited to say the least. Called Luke and he said to bring it down to his shop and he'd take a look even though he provided me a warranty. I asked about some documents that they might have regarding the features and option about the car. In response he became very terse in his texts. I'll just start off by saying, Out of respect I'll give this establishment a two star rating. We still received a refund but this whole experience was bullshit. As a business owner myself, I would never do business like this. February 28, 2022 we purchased a truck from this establishment. It's was a lifted Ford F-150. My boyfriend and I completely fell in love with this truck! Now we went on a test drive and everything seemed fine. The major red flag that we should have stepped away from this whole situation was the file for the truck magically went missing when we went to purchase it. The whole file that included the inspection THEY DID. Mind you, we paid cash in full. We were happy with our purchase while driving off the lot! Till of course the nightmare happened. The truck started making a grinding noise, hours after driving our dream truck off the lot. We thought we should take it to a shop to see if we could just fix it on our own. The shop we took the truck to said there was major issues that the dealership obviously covered up before selling it. The shop also let us know it very well could cause us to crash in the near future. Now of course as a mother I would not let that happen. We took the truck back to Luke, asked him to fix the death trap he knowingly sold us.. he refused so of course the next question would be a FULL refund. Keep in mind we paid in full for the truck on top of a warranty. He accepted that quickly.. although he didn't have the money till three days after we went in.. finally we get a refund for the truck. Luke told us we would be getting a check from the warranty company with in 45 days. After the time frame came and gone I gave Luke a call. He insisted it is in the mail.. of course I asked for the number of the company, we gave the company 75 days! Still nothing. Gave them a call and LOW AND BEHOLD! The check was sent to.. I bet you'll never guess.. Luke! We asked the company when it was mailed out and it was mailed before I even called Luke to ask him about it! Now at this point I'm really seeing how he treats his clients.. My boyfriend and I make our 25-30 minutes of a drive back to him, magically again his contact for BOTH of us have gone missing! He does seem to lose a lot of important documents! Even though I had spoke to him many times via phone call in between the return of the truck and check issue. Needless to say, don't trust this establishment. We learned the hard way.. He is one hundred percent willing to let a young couple and their toddler hop in a death trap knowing it was unsafe, what else is he willing to do? I honestly don't care the excuses he came up with at the time nor do I care to hear them now. He can justify this post like he does every other bad review he receives. We recently purchased a 05 Ford F250 Diesel from Luke at Car Hut. Everything was great until we arrived home and started driving truck. It would intermittently shut off? We were stumped, no lights no codes. We took it to our mechanic here in our town. Could not find the issue. I called Luke and informed him of the problem. He stated to bring it to him and he would check it out. Not only did he pay half the bill at our mechanic but he took it to the Ford Dealer in his area to have them take a look. Elk Grove Ford was able to find the problem and LUKE PAID TO FIX IT!!! We purchased this truck on a as is purchase but since LUKE is such a awesome business man he stood behind the vehicle. I went to Car Hut a few days ago to look at a 2009 Mini Cooper and wanted to drive it. Luke said no problem, but the key was lost and they would have to get another key from the dealer. I went back with my wife a couple days later and he said they would have it on Monday (tomorrow, April 26). We were driving that way on Saturday evening and noticed the car was gone. We wondered how could the car even be moved with no key. I later found an email from Luke on Saturday night saying the car was sold, so I asked how could it be sold with no key. He responded that he found the key and called and emailed me. I received no call, no email. The car sat on his lot at least since February, because I sent him a message about it in February.
