Do not buy a car from this dealership unless you want to get scammed. I looked at several different cars with Nestor, and he pointed me toward what he claimed would be the perfect car for me. I drove off the lot excited, only for problems to start showing up less than 24 hours later. I brought the car back, and instead of properly fixing the issue, they threw the cheapest possible part into it just to get it off their lot again. The problem came right back. I eventually had to call AAA, and when they opened the hood, they literally laughed at the condition of the repair work. After taking the car to a real mechanic for a full diagnostic, I found out the vehicle needs over $10,000 in repairs. None of this was disclosed to me when they sold me the car. I was given absolutely no indication there were major issues with the vehicle. From my experience, this dealership takes salvaged or previously damaged cars, throws cheap aftermarket parts on them to temporarily keep them running, and sells them without properly disclosing the condition. Then once your short warranty period is over, the real problems start surfacing. What makes this even more upsetting is that on the first day, I left genuinely happy and was ready to recommend them to everyone I knew. Now I'm seriously considering legal action because this entire situation feels dishonest and predatory. Let's not even talk about the fact the VIN was painted over and moved something my mechanic found very sketchy. And ladies -- especially if you don't know much about cars or don't currently have a license -- be extra careful. They act like they're helping you find the best option, but in reality it feels like they're just trying to unload vehicles they know have serious issues and aren't transparent about it. Please do your research before buying from this place. read more

I know we all have different experiences, but mine was a positive one. Nestor was amazing to work with. He was very responsive, patient, answered all of my questions and actually went above and beyond when he didn't have to. I can't wait to pick up my RV! read more

This place was referred to me from a friend and that's the only reason I went here to purchase a car. They were friendly and got me approved immediately BUT two weeks after having the car it started to make a loud noise in the engine and I check the oil and there was no oil in the car! So I text the guy letting him know there was no oil in the car and he said he doesn't sell cars without oil! So I take it to get an oil change and the noise went away! A month later the noise comes back and there is no oil in the car again and I am concerned as to why as there is no leaks. 3 months in and my alternator went out. The tire pressure light is on and there is air in all my Tires. Problem after problem. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! read more

I got a 2016 Elantra from this company in February. By August, my transmission was failing on the car. The mileage on the car isn't commiserate with what you'd normally expect from a car with a bad transmission. Of course, they said my warranty was only 1 month and since I had it 6 months, there is nothing they could do. When I first got the car, the battery kept dying and TWICE I had to meet up with Israel for that problem to be solved... Let me not mention that my check engine light came on within the first month of me having the car. I'm thoroughly dissatisfied... I have a broken down car, that I still have to pay a note on... I'd rather fight Lions, than to buy another car from Automex... Buyer beware read more

The worse place to get a car in the Sacramento area. My mother, my brother and myself have all three gotten our cars from this place and they made all of us lie to the finance company about our down payment (which is 100% illegal and could jeopardize dealership license) yes it seems convenient and a trustworthy thing to do but it goes to show how this place does business, bad business. My brother got his car a month and a half ago and it breaks down with transmission issues. My mothers car is broken down currently with exhaust issues and she just finished paying it off after a two and half year term. I'm about half way through my term and no problems yet, I will never recommend them to anyone. They sold me my car with two recalls on it and without telling me it was in an accident that smashed everything underneath my rear bumper. Yes it's easy to get qualified and get in a car for less than a 1000 down but you pay dearly in the end. I really hope the issue with my brothers car works out because they have it in their possession now supposedly fixing it. We shall see and if not we will defiantly be seeing a lawyer and contacting the proper authorities to get these guys shut read more

I purchased a vehicle on December with this car dealership and I remember I have told the car sales that I need to get a car because I've been having bad luck with cars and that I needed a good car because I travel a lot do to my work and it's April and the car broke down when I took the car to get check they said that they deleted the codes for Catholic converter so now I'm stuck with a $10,000 loan and a car that don't work and I have to fix it and I have to spend over $3000 to fix his vehicle and it's only been four months that I got this vehicle so please before you buy your vehicle from this car dealership take it to get a check because they delete codes and on the cars for them to be able to sell it but when you take it to a mechanic and they put the machine there's a lot of things I'm a single mom and I'm really really really struggling now that this car broke down. My car broke down. I have a $10,000 loan now I have no car to make it to work now I don't have no way to make my car payment and when I call the company they said that I bought ass it is and it's messed up that this company is selling cars that don't they're not good to people that we are in. Need to have a car to take her kids to school to go to work to do daily basis for these people to play hard-working people and sell cars. It doesn't even work that they delete the codes in cars so they can sell them I'm in the process of hiring a lawyer to go about this situation because it's impossible that I just got this car in December and the car already broke down in this Burley April is only four months after give it 1500 for the diwn payment and making payments of almost $400 every month for this car to broke down and when I called the Financial to us to ask if I can get any help or any information they sent me to the car dealership when I called the car dealership they said they can't do nothing nobody but they knew that this car had issues because that sell was fast they didn't they didn't even took a chance for me to go check it there so let me really fast but it really good deal and now makes sense why? Because they knew that the score was fucked up they deleted the codes so please before buying a car in this place you have to make sure that the car is good because once you buy a car they don't care and he's pretty messed up and I hope that karma gets back in the company and I'm not stopping until something is done because it's not fair for our hard-working people, hard-working people, single mothers, single fathers, or just parents in general buying cars hoping to have that car lasting for a couple years the only last for months read more

Myself & my 3 cousins have gotten cars from Israel at AUTOMEX IN SACRAMENTO and we ALL now are out of a car. I will not WASTE my time writing a paragraph bad review because they are not even worth it but please DO NOT work with them especially giving them your money for a car that won't even last you a full year. read more

Please Please Please don't buy a car from this place. I bought a Ford Fusion and about 6 months later it started having problems. Took it to the shop and no one could figure out what was wrong with it. I had to eventually give the car up. Several mechanics told me that the car looked like it had been picked apart and the parts were replaced with old ones. It was such a nightmare and now I'm stuck paying for a car that doesn't run. I'm a mom of two and needed a reliable car and automex let me down. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

Came across this dealership and decided to contact them to assist me with buying a vehicle. I spoke with Israel who I believe is the owner. He was able to get me financed so I went down there to see the vehicle that I liked online and finalize the paperwork. Well, when I get there he doesn't have the keys to the vehicle they let a customer take it with them when they left the lot. I finalized the paperwork with him and had to wait a few hours until he could get me a new key made. This was such an inconvenience being the fact that I didn't live local, I felt he should have had everything in order and ready. Israel was a really nice guy don't get me wrong but he definitely needs to learn how to run a business and learn that you don't do these things to people that are in need. Also, he needs to know what goes around comes around. Long story short I got the vehicle and my check engine light comes on the NEXT DAY. He has to come out to me and bring me a loaner car (a piece of junk car that was terrible on gas) . This vehicle basically had so many problems and have cost me a lot of time and money. Do NOT buy or even consider buying a vehicle from this dealership, you will find something wrong with the vehicle you get and have to send it back to him but the problem will never get fixed. You're better off buying a vehicle off craigslist from a private owner. I even referred someone to this dealership and I was really ashamed and embarrassed because they too had a lot of problems with the vehicle they got. He lied to them and never fixed the problems that was wrong with that vehicle. Well, this was a great lesson learned if nothing else. read more

If I could put no stars at all I would! This place needs to be shut down. I didn't even have my car for a day without having issues. He's already taken my car 5 times because of issues and told me he was going to fix them and they never got fixed now I have to go out of pocket to get it fixed at a dealership and I haven't had it for a month. They are extremely unprofessional and one day when I went to the shop to pick up my car it wasn't even there! And when he got back my gas tank was empty! I highly regret going through them to get a car. I'm stressed out everyday about it. This is ridiculous and no one should work with these people! I have another friend who went through them and they are having issues too. Broken down cars that are way overpriced. read more

Worst dealer ever. I would not recommend coming here at all. "Bought" a car here in Feb 2017. It was an easy process. I filled out the application online, the next morning Jesus called me and told me I was approved. I emailed my pay stubs to them, all I had to bring in was proof of residency and my drivers license. Came in that same day that Jesus told me I was approved and bought a Hyundai Sonata. Very fast process was in & out within 30 minutes the most. 3 in a half weeks later, Jesus calls me telling me I wasn't approved for the car and if I don't have a consigner within 24 hours I would have to return the car & they would give me my down payment back. What sense does that make. Who sells a car to someone without them being approved. This dealership is money hungry. They only have 5-6 cars in their lot. I told Jesus to just come pick up the car and bring me my money back. I was not going to waste my time getting a consigner just to waste my time and money on a janky dealership. I later then bought a car from Stockton Auto Mall :) thank you Auto Mex for such a waste of time :) BIG INCONVENIENCE read more

I have bought a couple of cars in the past threw dealerships, and I have got to say, this was the best experience i have EVVVEER had! I dealt with Jesus, who is amazing and the ONLY person/dealership that worked his magic to approve me, while every other dealership turned me away! I went in and traded in my old vehicle for an upgrade, and let me tell you, what i traded in (a beat up '97 dodge caravan) compared to what i drove away with (a beautiful and GREAT condition, 2005 Ford Expedition), AMAZING! I had one small issue with the vehicle, nothing huge, just one of the motors in the front passenger window that wasn't working at 100%, and he not only had me drop off my car to get fixed, but because i was going to be without a car till the next day, he let me borrow another vehicle to help me; and i got my car back right away, working like new! He texts and calls just to keep me updated and to check up! I would recommend EVERYONE to buy a car from Jesus, and from this dealership! He has never been rude, and ALWAYS greets me by my name! If you are looking to finance a new car, this place is definitely the place to go!!!!!! read more
