The guy who answered the phone, Rick, was super friendly and very polite. He told me I could have my car towed that day and they'd try to take a look at it, but it was a Friday so he wasn't sure if they'd get to it. Totally fine. He gave me the number of a tow company that they work with that picked up my car. I didn't hear anything by the end of the day Friday, so I figured they weren't able to get to it. On Monday I got a call from Rick who gave me the bad news... pretty expensive repair but I had already figured that out from Googling. He said he'd order the parts and hopefully get them yet that day. I didn't hear anything back by the end of the day, so I figured they weren't able to get to it. Ha! Then I got a call on Tuesday afternoon saying my car was ready. Luckily my boyfriend and I work together so I wasn't needing a car while it was being worked on. Rick was again super friendly and polite when I picked up my car and everything is running smoothly again. He even followed up with me a couple days later via text to see if everything was still going okay. The lack of communication I experienced the first couple of days might stress some people out, but I wasn't too worried. I will be going to Mason Street Garage for all maintenance from now on. It's really nice to support a local business that cares about their customers and provides friendly service during what can be stressful situations.

Had my car in for an AC repair and oil change (using a jug of Mobil1 oil and a filter I provided). They overfilled the oil (used entire jug, vs. filling and checking). I asked why. The response was 'we filled it to the specs'; I pointed out that it never takes the full 5.1 quarts after a change; I've never needed more than 4.5 to get the dip stick level right. He then said that my dip stick was the wrong part and therefore inaccurate... not true. (I even checked the dipstick part to verify it was the right one.) I also called later and found that they will no longer accept customer supplied parts for repair, unlike Andy & Mark's policy.

That left a crack on my windshield that ended up increasing in size over time. After calling various business around Grand Rapids for repair quotes, I decided on Orion since it was the cheapest. I had an appointment the next morning and they got to work on my car straight away. It was a 2 hour wait, one hour to install and another to let the adhesive dry. I had to leave the black tape on for 3 days. I paid $230 flat to replace my entire my entire windshield for a new one. I definitely will be returning if more spiders show up in my car!

These people strait up played me. Went to have my envoy serviced. So initially I went in because my…read morepower steering pump wasn't working , coming to find out it didn't need a new one . So they replaced that then they charged me $1,100 after they told me it was only going to be 750. And then when I confronted them about the huge difference in price the owner threatened me threatened to keep my vehicle and overcharge me for storage fees for every single day if I didn't just pay and leave . So I had my vehicle brought to a real mechanic and sure enough these assholes put the wrong serpentine belt on and put it on there so tight that it had to be totally disassembled to get it off . And so then putting that wrong serpentine belt on would have caused so many future problems for my vehicle . This was the second time they've done this to me . So the first time I brought it in for the same issue . So anyways they replace the fuel pump I pay that time it was $1,200 I don't have the receipt anymore otherwise I'd post that too but this has been about a year now . And I just didn't think about leaving any kind of review because I was pretty upset . You know so anyways I gave them $1,200 I leave I get two blocks away in my power steering doesn't work anymore so I turn right around go right back and dude comes out trying to act like he's looking for what the problem is then he offers to put it back on the lift to show me something and then gives me this line where he says oh I could just shed a tear for you too talking to me and my boyfriend . Once this place is original owners passed away the place went down the hill fast I will never bring my vehicle here ever again the only time I ever did in the beginning was for the $13 oil changes . And I cannot find their business that's open right now otherwise I'd be blasting this all over their website .
