These people strait up played me. Went to have my envoy serviced. So initially I went in because my power steering pump wasn't working , coming to find out it didn't need a new one . So they replaced that then they charged me $1,100 after they told me it was only going to be 750. And then when I confronted them about the huge difference in price the owner threatened me threatened to keep my vehicle and overcharge me for storage fees for every single day if I didn't just pay and leave . So I had my vehicle brought to a real mechanic and sure enough these assholes put the wrong serpentine belt on and put it on there so tight that it had to be totally disassembled to get it off . And so then putting that wrong serpentine belt on would have caused so many future problems for my vehicle . This was the second time they've done this to me . So the first time I brought it in for the same issue . So anyways they replace the fuel pump I pay that time it was $1,200 I don't have the receipt anymore otherwise I'd post that too but this has been about a year now . And I just didn't think about leaving any kind of review because I was pretty upset . You know so anyways I gave them $1,200 I leave I get two blocks away in my power steering doesn't work anymore so I turn right around go right back and dude comes out trying to act like he's looking for what the problem is then he offers to put it back on the lift to show me something and then gives me this line where he says oh I could just shed a tear for you too talking to me and my boyfriend . Once this place is original owners passed away the place went down the hill fast I will never bring my vehicle here ever again the only time I ever did in the beginning was for the $13 oil changes . And I cannot find their business that's open right now otherwise I'd be blasting this all over their website . But these people are shady as hell and will try to fight you if you disagree with them because that's what the owner Dave did to me . You're all pieces of s*** Dave and your son. read more

I recently dropped my car off at Quality Auto Service center to get my brakes checked out. The lady over the phone did not disclose that they charge a fee to take a look at someones car, which was $60. Last year I took my car into 3 different places to receive quotes and not a single mechanic charged an inspection fee. Be transparent and disclose that you have a fee since it is not a standard practice at every mechanic. read more

This is arguably one of the best auto service centers in the city. I came in for some basic repairs (brakes and wheel bearing) and Tommy was able to walk me through some more repairs he discovered. He went over pricing and ways he could make things more affordable for me. He even cleaned up my rear brakes and drums free of charge! He was super thorough, honest, and kind and explained things in super easy terms. They did a great job and I left with what felt like a new car! PROS: Was able to get my car in for estimate and service within a day. Friendly receptionist. New location has a nice waiting area. Were able to offer me a vehicle when it needed additional repair. Were prompt and responsive when the first ($700) fix wasn't a complete fix. CONS: I was not informed they were under new ownership, and that our trusted mechanic was no longer with them until after my car was in their possession. They placed a defective rotor on my car - and I feel like that could have been caught if they did a test drive upon completion of the repair. Called with a laundry list of items to repair/replace and a high price. When I shared that it was more than I could afford, they didn't offer any alternatives (which other mechanics used to under previous ownership). Had to bring me car in for another full day (they did offer a company car for the trouble). Labor fees seemed to have increased approximately 30%. Did not have any of my previous records to review - and I had my rear brakes replaced in January (rear brakes needed to be "cleaned and adjusted"). I felt as though I was being sold on things that I didn't need right away or that could have been brought to my attention and maybe discussed about timing on when to fix to help reduce costs. Although they were helpful and timely, I am disappointed in my first experience under new ownership. I will likely be seeking a new mechanic. Anyone know where Mitch went? read more

They will absolutely rip you off. They will upsell way more than you need. I'd be very careful here. Get a second opinion. Maybe even ask for the old parts after the repair is complete. Just get your $13 oil change, let them give you their laundry list of issues found and then take that and get a second opinion. read more
