Within one week, the transmission failed, and the estimate for repair was over $14,000. When I asked the dealer to take responsibility, they refused. I even pursued the matter in small claims court but was unable to get relief. In my experience, this dealer did not stand behind their vehicle, and I would caution others to be very careful before buying from smaller used auto dealers.

They're great folks Update 4/20/2018: After looking at other options in other areas I decided to return to Downtown Auto Sales and buy the Ford E-150 I had already test driven. We were told the truck had work done and was in great condition (the truck was very clean on the inside) so we test drove it & even use an engine reader to check for codes. Nothing came up and so we bought it! 24hrs later the truck broke down and all these engine codes lit up the dash board. Our mechanic said it was a piece of junk and there would be no point in even trying to fix anything. So moral of the story DO NOT spend your hard earned money here.You will regret it! We learned the hard way but he will reap what he sows!

I had been searching for a car on CarGurus for months. For some reason, I had no luck finding…read moresomething. As soon as I saw this truck, I reached out to the dealership. The next business day, a seller named Nicho reached out to me. We talked on the phone about my situation & what I would need to be able to walk with this truck. We went over credit, co-signer, down payment, deposit & questions regarding the vehicle.
