I had a mobile mechanic come to inspect the car and the dealer said the car had been sold. In other words, they did not want the mobile mechanic to do a inspection. As I was leaving a friend came and asked about another car advertised and was told that car was scratched over the weekend and was being repaired but they had another one. The very same car I was told 10 minutes earlier that it was sold. Oh, we recorded the conversation. This dealership will be reported. I might add they also added a $2000 charge on top of tax and license for some bogus auto theft protection. At first they said it was a device on the car. I said I don't want it and remove it. Then the sales person brought up an app to show me how they can track cars. So I looking at multiple red dots. I said I especially don't want you people tracking my granddaughter. Then I was told it was a type of insurance that if the car was stolen and not recovered they would pay up to $5000. We Googled the insurance and found it sell for $300-600. My friend was told the same and he called them on it and was finally told that is the commission for the sale. This company will be turned over for investigation.

I had been searching for a car on CarGurus for months. For some reason, I had no luck finding…read moresomething. As soon as I saw this truck, I reached out to the dealership. The next business day, a seller named Nicho reached out to me. We talked on the phone about my situation & what I would need to be able to walk with this truck. We went over credit, co-signer, down payment, deposit & questions regarding the vehicle. Nicho was able to get me approved with no cosigner & a monthly payment that I am comfortable with & a down payment I was comfortable with. When I arrived to the dealership, they had the truck ready for me to test drive. After a test drive, I was sure this is the vehicle I wanted. Signing paperwork & paying a down payment was simple & went by fairly fast. The experience of buying through this dealership was a great one. Thank you to Nicho for helping me during this process. The vehicle has not given me any problems. I was able to drive it home from Bakersfield about two hours away. I took my truck to my mom's over the weekend another two hours away & the drive was a great one. Besides that, after the purchase of the vehicle we have had nothing but problems with the vehicle. Part after part, mechanic after mechanic. The car has sat more than we have been able to drive it! Now here comes the BIG ONE. We have been 100% up to date on our payments, they recently sold our loan to another company WITHOUT NOTIFYING US. This new company "mid Atlantic finance" towed the car with ALL PAYMENTS UP TO DATE AND NEVER LATE. Anywho, contacted Deal time and all they could say was "oh sorry you're right, all your payments are up to date. We will retrieve the car for you. It was the other companies fault." Yet, let me remind you, he then said "well we tracked the gps and seen it sitting in the same spot because and that is why we towed it" (it was in the same spot for 3 days at her place of work because it was BROKEN DOWN AGAIN. Just curious on to which story it really is?!?! They then proceeded to tell us we needed to pay $1500 to retrieve it out of the impound yard. I refused and they then picked up the car and took it to their lot. (By the way it is my mother's car and I am the co-signer) they told ME they would have their mechanic try to figure out what is going on for NO CHARGE. My mother then called and they proceeded to tell her she needs to pay $150 for the mechanic taking a look. They have showed no remorse, have offered no compensation and will not even return her car to her as we live over an hour away! The car was unlawfully towed and does not run and they will not even return it to her. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

If the vehicle isn't in your area you pay a non refundable $99 to have it delivered. I received texts and emails from start to finish about the progress. When the vehicle arrives a 125 point check is done. You have a report on ownership & car history. Even though my vehicle is still under dealer warranty I opted for the 5 year CarMax warranty as well because it covers so much. CarMax also has car repair on sight. Since I bought a Hybrid this is especially appealing because other wise it means going to a dealership or finding a certified hybrid repair business. Vishav was my sales rep today. So friendly and helpful, I can't say enough about how helpful he was. He made my car buying experience easy and stress free. I had wanted to buy locally but they just didn't have the inventory of hybrids that I was looking for. CarMax has all the inventory you could want. I highly recommend CarMax for purchasing used vehicles.

We ended up getting a truck from Carmax in Palmdale that had issues but Bakersfield branch handled the issues and return in a professional and helpful manner.
