My wife and I drove over four hours from Angels Camp to deal with Rene and Kay. We are so glad we did. Absolutely NO pressure at all. We bought an older car but were treated like we were purchasing a Rolls. There was an ac problem when we started the vehicle. Kay made a call, found a part, and had the problem repaired within an hour. When this car wears out we both agree we will drive the four hours to deal with our new "friends" in Bakersfield. Best dealership!!! I drove from Orange County -- through the thick of Los Angeles traffic -- to check out a car. For anyone familiar with the area, you know exactly how jank that drive is and how much no one ever wants to have to go through it and then have to drive the grapevine after. But for an entire week, Rene answered all questions I had about the car/financing/etc. He was so helpful and patient! And on the day I drove up, I met K and he was just the coolest -- no pressure on buying or anything. You can tell that these guys are just good-hearted people and want to help get you something you truly love! I ended up purchasing the vehicle and felt really good about the deal. So much consideration, integrity, and kindness! I am so appreciative. So stoked on my yellow Jeep Wrangler and all the adventures I'm to embark on! read more

I did not purchase a vehicle because I bought another one. However, I did want to mention that Rene was very helpful and gave me a very fair price on an suv. He was able to explain a few things with my pre approval from my bank. Good fair guys. read more

We needed a bigger Vehicle for our family and they had a nice suburban so we took it for test drive loved it but we had to wait up to 24 hours to see if the bank would qualify us so they put a hold on it until we got an answer...went down, signed all the paperwork, and drove it home it was fast and easy with low payments!! We have had it for over a month with no issues what soo ever we love it !!! The guys were friendly and not pushy at all !!! Will go back if we ever need another vehicle!!! read more

My experience buying a car from here was great until I bought it and took it to a trusted mechanic. My mechanic said there was just a few safety items that were supposed to be on my vehicle regardless what the warranty says and required by California law, but K and his partner made a big fuss saying that some off the stuff they would take care would be out of courtesy. Now he sold a truck with a good engine and transmission, so far, but beware since they try to make your valid and honest concerns invalid by saying it's an older vehicle or all of his cars have the same problem. So if you see 5 star ratings just know that they might be paid reviews. Expect attitude and lip when you ask them questions.( Purchased a 2004 GMC Sierra with 217,000 with expired tags) BEWARE OF SENSORS THAT MIGHT BE FAULTY, THEY RESET THE CODES JUST SO THEIR VEHICLES CAN PASS SMOG. Now I'm $500 deep in repair!!!!!!! read more

I drove all the way from SF Bay Area to look at a car. K had a specific car I was looking for. He was never pushy like some salesman could be, very personable and welcoming. I instantly loved the car and told him I'm interested. We went over financing options. He went out of his way to find the best option for me. That meant a lot to me. After it was all over we shook hands like gentlemen and I drove the car all the way home without incident. My wife and I both agreed K is an honest guy who looks out for his customers. I'd drive back for another good deal. read more

I purchased a Honda civic the service was great but my car was not. I bought the car and in the same month my car was over heating I paid the car off within a month which was 4,000 and I had to take it back 3 times for them to fix the problem which it was never fixed. Now they refuse to fix my car so now after having the car for 3 months I have to pay over 1,000 dollars to fix the issue. And not only that small things just started breaking down like my car will no longer lock automatically, my ac does not blow cold and my tires are old. So I was pretty much sold a bad car that was not worth 4,000 I feel ripped off so if you get a car with them just make sure you know what you're buying because I bought a car with a bad engine and was sold a dream. read more

Drove down to Bakersfield to get an awesome deal. These guys are great. Good selection, very fair pricing and financing options. These guys are very transparent so you don't get the feel long that they are shady. In fact, you can tell they are very passionate about cars. Would definitely refer people here. read more

I really hate to blast some one's business but, these people advertised a Chevy S10 pick up as "excellent" condition, and I drove all the way up to Bakersfield from Riverside only to see a truck that is totally a piece of JUNK. They are also asking HIGH Kelly Bluebook prices, and this truck is not even worth LOW book prices. Total waste of my time AND gas. Where I come from, this is false advertising. I was NOT happy. read more

I wouldn't mind doing business with Harvey at Downtown Auto Sales someday. They're great folks Update 4/20/2018: After looking at other options in other areas I decided to return to Downtown Auto Sales and buy the Ford E-150 I had already test driven. Harvey was just as pleasant as he was the day before. He took off $500 and we had a very easy sale. He was very excited to be a part of the beginning of my new local business, Bakersfield Cleanpro. I would not purchase another vehicle from this company unless I need it less it went to a mechanic and somebody went through it just be careful buying trucks from auto dealers they are crooks.

The next business day, a seller named Nicho reached out to me. We talked on the phone about my situation & what I would need to be able to walk with this truck. We went over credit, co-signer, down payment, deposit & questions regarding the vehicle. Nicho was able to get me approved with no cosigner & a monthly payment that I am comfortable with & a down payment I was comfortable with. When I arrived to the dealership, they had the truck ready for me to test drive. After a test drive, I was sure this is the vehicle I wanted. Signing paperwork & paying a down payment was simple & went by fairly fast. The experience of buying through this dealership was a great one. Thank you to Nicho for helping me during this process. The vehicle has not given me any problems. I was able to drive it home from Bakersfield about two hours away. I took my truck to my mom's over the weekend another two hours away & the drive was a great one. I did take it to my personal mechanic & after a look, he let me know the truck was in good shape & I picked a good one. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Deal Time!

I bought a nissan maxima for my wife 3 weeks ago, since the first time we went by to see it til the day i bought it K was on top of things all the way he is very friendly and honest. My experience at Golden Valley Autos was a very pleasant one. I was not pressured into buying anything, they listened to my needs and pointed me in the right direction. With their patience and help I eventually picked a car that is perfect and I absolutely love it! The price was better than every other dealership. They are extremely competitive in their pricing! Honestly don't bother going anywhere else! This dealership is ran by two great guys who are able to keep their cost low because they don't have a lot of overhead costs.
