Thankfully I was sent to Moonstruck Rentals by recommendation and am glad I took them up for business. First and foremost they were super quick and responsive to all my questions. Their company is organized, straightforward, and everything is easy to understand when it comes to picking and choosing your inflated entertainment, and believe me when your searching through all the various business offering these services you will understand. The rental is delivered in the AM between 8AM-1130AM and pick up between 6PM-930PM. There isn't a set hour allotment, and they even called me the evening before to assure me that they would be delivering my rental at 1030AM, which by the way I missed their call so they sent me a text! Can we say awesome service! Being within 15 miles of the business zip of 77388, my delivery was free, score! A deposit of $50 was required for reservation and the rest of the payment is collected after rental arrives and is set up. Let me just say these guys were punctual, they arrived at 10 (early, say what?) and they had my super clean, blue and green bouncy castle with dinosaur themed banner up and going in less than 30 minutes, can you say "jumping" for joy! Pick up was later that evening long after my party had ended so there was no worry on crying kids throwing unnecessary fits due to being cut short, in fact I think most of my guests were bounced out! NO call. NO update. I had to chase them down, and the rental finally arrived barely 15 MINUTES before the party started. The driver was polite but didn't know how to operate the cotton candy machine because, as he said, "I'm just the delivery guy." The worst part was speaking with Kirk, the manager. He was DISMISSIVE, RUDE, and completely UNPROFESSIONAL. He cut me off, said, "You're upset even though you enjoyed the rental and had your party," and HUNG UP on me before I could respond. He confirmed a partial refund--$51.75 back to my card in a few days and $23.75 via Zelle--which honestly felt ODD for a business. While I appreciate the refund, a SIMPLE APOLOGY for the stress this caused would have meant FAR MORE. I actually wanted to post this review the night of my daughter's party, but I chose to wait until the refund processed to give them the benefit of the doubt. As a Black woman, I was deeply ASHAMED of how Kirk carried himself and how this reflects on the business. I truly hope he's held accountable because situations like this are exactly why people hesitate to support small, minority-owned businesses. This company made what should've been a joyful day incredibly STRESSFUL. I will NEVER use them again and urge others to think twice if you want your child's party to go smoothly.
