She initially responded quickly, but as the date got closer responses would be further apart. Spent money on getting the families haircut, purchasing haku lei, and clearing schedules not only for my family but my sister/moms family. She didn't respond to questions or even have a location set up until a week before shoot was scheduled. The funny thing is she actually texted pictures of location options 2 days before the shoot was to be done, but many of my questions were still left unanswered. I guess she didn't need my business, but in return costed my family and I money in services done in preparation for a ghosted photo shoot.

My kids were quick to show off their newfound surfing skills by sharing the video with their friends. Despite the cloudy weather and the waves not cooperating, (and worse, the baby waves) James' associate was able to capture some pretty cool footage with the angles and made a Noob like me appear to be a Noob with at least a little experience! She is immensely talented, highly professional and creative…read more Traveling from San Diego to Hawaii, I was reluctant to book a session as I was afraid we would miss the session due to weather, traffic, etc... then throw some jet lagged kids in the mix and our chances of a great session was slim. Well, Taylor made sure we were on the dryer side of the island but still had the back drop I was looking for; picked a time that still had great light but worked with the kid's nap schedule; and was very flexible in the date as we were going to be on the island for 7 days with 3 of the days forecasted to be raining. The photos were absolutely stunning. She made us all feel at ease and captured how my family is naturally. She was even able to get some great shots of my three-nager who was throwing a fit because her baby brother was getting a lot of attention for his cake smash. She made the whole process stress free and she was very easy to get a hold of if I needed to ask her something. We got the sneak peak and full gallery shorter than her promised time. They…read morereally improved over the last few months because they can discuss with us specifically what kind of image we want and make sure we get the right angle, lighting etc. They also waited until we were ready and looking at the camera, telling us "big smile" and making us less nervous. In our first and third sessions, we had to change the location due to weather etc, but they coped with it and even gave us a better alternative by driving around and checking out the nearby area while my husband and I waited in our car anxiously for the wind and rain to pass. After the wait, they suggested a new location and we drove there. We took photos in a location that was similar to the original location we had requested, but it was less touristy. It was secluded and full of beauty. As a local, I was delighted that they took us there!
