I did not find it much different from a trip to Whole Foods, Fresh Market, or Mom's Organic and found a lot of Safeway-esque sprinkled within. Store was quite empty, hot food bar looked picked over, and their bakery section was lackluster. Luckily their prepared section won me over. My best friend and I picked up a few roasted chickens and sides for a Sunday night family dinner and were surprised by how tasty everything was! The salad and cut fruit were super fresh, crisp, and tasty. The creamed spinach was steakhouse quality. And our rotisserie chickens blew Whole Foods dry-as-the-Sahara birds out the window. Each bite was so moist and well flavored that I thought about it for a few days afterwards, I guess there is a reason why Balducci's catering is so legendary. I'll definitely be looking into their menu more as the holidays roll around.

I went into Giant last year. I was having problems with my Giant rewards account and logging in, I called support for help and spoke to a local person. Giant support is still in MD and PA. That impressed me. I had been shopping a lot at Lidl and when I was walking around Giant o saw many of the prices were compatible. I also love how Giant had many local food products including Ben's Chili, Ledos pizza and local bakery items. It's nice walking into a grocery store that anywhere you turn you see a Giant employee and they are always friendly and happy to help. Giant is my go to grocery store now and it has been for the the past year and don't know why but I get excited when I pull up to my local Giant.

Immediately Maila the customer service rep walked directly over to me without saying anything and just stood behind me and watch the entire transaction without saying anything. When it was clear that Maila was not standing over any other customers it was obvious profiling. Took out my Credit Card to show the customer service rep to ask if she sees the credit card, and sees it going into the machine. While Maila was standing there, I said we can go to your manager and she said my manager told me to walk over to you. Got it. Then after paying for the items and walking out of the Self Service checkout, the person next to me had an issue and Maila said "Oh how can I help?" So to recap, I get profiled and assumed to not be able to pay for 2 candies and a popcorn, and the woman next to me receives customer service once Maila watches me complete my entire transaction. Fire Maila tomorrow or if she was not lying and what she said about the manager the manager was true who made this decision to profile take away their job. There is no room for this type of harassment when buying candy and popcorn at Giant after already going through the pharmacy line to then be accosted and laughed at while trying to buy movie night items for my family. This Wegmans is much smaller and more compact with a neighborhood vibe rather than the traditional larger store (there's a small bar area and food court). Wegmans has really expanded their vegan and vegetarian prepared food options this year - the juicy Eggplant Parm is delicious! It has become my weekly staple! While the Butter Paneer is quite sweet, I appreciate the diversity of ethnic foods. The Veggie Lasagna is a bit soggy. The Vegan Cobb Salad, Kale Mushroom Tofu Salad, Kung Pao Tofu Bowl, and Vegan Sushi are quite good! The new Truffle Veggies and Portobello Mushroom Pizzas in prepackaged food trays are perfect for roasting veggies, you just throw the tray in the oven! The food court has a few stations - sandwiches, pizza, and burgers and closes around 8pm (salad and poke bowls were discontinued). The seasonal maple donut, strawberry and blueberry cobbler donuts are delicious. The fluffy croissants and Jalapeno Cheddar bagels are quite tasty too! While the baked goods are generally pretty fresh, they are made every other day Including some of the cookies. Free parking without validation up to 2 hours now. There's also cute green grocery carts for kids. You can get digital coupons on the app. I've been able to save over $50 from the mail and digital coupons! Can't wait to come back tomorrow!

This is my local Harris Teeter so I visit it frequently. It's a nice spot to grab quick things but not do full grocery shopping if you know what I mean. It's just too expensive. The customer service is okay. I've never had an issue personally but I could see how someone could take issue with one their day supervisors. The two times I've encountered this particular one she did give a vibe of an attitude. Everyone else seems so helpful.

Their cart escalator doesn't work at the moment so you have to go with your cart on the elevator but that's not too bad. They have a Starbucks with a big cafe area with chairs if you have some work to do or would like to enjoy a cup of coffee before starting your grocery hunt! They also have some outdoor seating and have both cashiers and self checkout-- the self checkout line does tend to have somewhat long lines anytime I go though. Now I need to take my ass back inside the store to at least see if this store has it and for how much. Turns out they have the same merchandise as CVS, but for a better price. Had to get it try and see if they had it. The store didn't look trashy from what I saw...okay maybe the men's bathroom and possibly the women's bathroom too, but aside from that. It was fine. No employees said hello or anything, but neither did other customers. No big deal this time around. Many things changed and this store looks like it went through an upgrade a bit. The other mall here changed too. I use to go down stair to get my hair cut as a kid. Downstairs is just a closed bank on both sides. More stores are here in this shopping Center too. When I entered, I found a true gem of a store! As I entered I was greeted by the nicest staff ever as they cheerily went about their work. Other customers were in and out quickly, clearly stopping in for specific items. It's not a large space but wow they have such a great breadth of items. They have a great range of interesting and delicious foods, including a bulk foods section toward the rear of the store. I found so many items that I have never even seen before, and I'm a grocery store aficionado. I mean, I like visiting eclectic markets and supporting local folks like co-ops. One of the highlights was their canned tomatoes and Italian section. They were so inexpensive and Italian imports at that. What a find! I was just here for a snack and found some unusual kola kombucha, interesting crackers, and chewy banana chips, and I found some sage incense for a random photography project I'm working on that needs smoke. Unlike the cheapskates who whined about pricing on their reviews, I didn't find that prices were bad at all. In many instances this store had CHEAPER prices than I've seen elsewhere at large grocery chains! That's incredible! And it didn't have the generic misery of a regular grocery chain either.
