Kendrick provides excellent customer service - he's fast, friendly, manages a long line with a calm demeanor (and always with a smile), and he goes out of his way to cut/package the seafood exactly the way you like, often hand delivering it to you around the counter instead of making you reach up over it. Shopping can sometimes be stressful, but never when you actually look forward to placing an order with Kendrick.

That impressed me. I had been shopping a lot at Lidl and when I was walking around Giant o saw many of the prices were compatible. I also love how Giant had many local food products including Ben's Chili, Ledos pizza and local bakery items. It's nice walking into a grocery store that anywhere you turn you see a Giant employee and they are always friendly and happy to help. Giant is my go to grocery store now and it has been for the the past year and don't know why but I get excited when I pull up to my local Giant.

Their cart escalator doesn't work at the moment so you have to go with your cart on the elevator but that's not too bad. They have a Starbucks with a big cafe area with chairs if you have some work to do or would like to enjoy a cup of coffee before starting your grocery hunt! They also have some outdoor seating and have both cashiers and self checkout-- the self checkout line does tend to have somewhat long lines anytime I go though.
