The nice lady at the counter walked us through the process and explained the menu. In order the fish and shrimp combo with tater tots and it came with a "salad bar" and pinto beans. The salad was really fixings for a sandwich or burger and some sauces. My Wife ordered their famous cheeseburger that appears to have won "Best Burger" many times by the plaques on the wall, and their onions rings. Everything is made fresh so we waited about 15 minutes while sitting in the dining room with a great view of Lake Bridgeport. Food was delivered and it looked great and smelled good. My fish was crispy, with a cornmeal batter that was seasoned very elk and it tasted GREAT! The cheeseburger was a short rib grind burger patty, thick and full size. Taste was excellent but the firm texture of the short rib meat may surprise you. The star of the burger was the bun; jalapeño bread reminiscent of a Shlotskys sandwich bread but nice and soft. I could eat just an order of those buns. Overall food 5 stars. The dining room a solid 4 stars as it is showing it's age but we will visit again the get of their great, well priced food.
