I love the food and always a good conversation with Rodney. He is quite different but you know he is a good soul and how I know is by the way he loves animals. I can generally judge a person by that and he has a great heart and never really been rude to me and believe me I have been late getting there and he had reason. I think some people think they are entitled or something . He has good food and I do believe he can see through you and if you are rude he will be too.

We called several other places and they told us they had no crabs. We went to the Crab King and when we walked in we were cheerful greeted by the owner. We told her that we wanted some crabs along with some spiced shrimp. The crabs were huge, Number #1 Jimmy's. They were spiced perfectly. We bought a pound and a half of large Spiced Shrimp. They were also large and cooked perfectly. We also bought some Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad. Those crabs were very large and they were delicious. I can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks when we go camping in the area again.

Arrived around 6pm and there was quite the line at the front door, so we joined some friends who had room at their fire pit table in the patio. This place was extremely busy and had a-lot of large groups if +8 ( and our arrival time was a bit later than we prefer). We sat for a bit and I decided to go to the bar for a few cold ones and wait out the food service on the patio. A young lady (staff member) named Allysa(?) saw me struggling to get attention of the bar service after waiting 10-15 minutes or so. Allysa came over and asked me if I needed help, i said looking for a few cold drinks and waiting for service on the patio. She was apologetic on the wait and kindly asked me if I like to wait on the patio and she would have someone come right out. Five minutes later, Allysa came to us on the patio, again apologized for the wait and said she would kindly serve us, the normal server was slammed. Which turns out, Allysa was absolutely slammed as well. She took our drink order and delivered rather quickly and then patiently took our food order and was very helpful with our questions on the menu. You tell she was overwhelmed with patrons, but she hid it well and Allysa was very kind and patient as well. Thank You Allysa...your 5 star service was amazeballs! We ordered from the alacarte section of the menu and the food was very good...I'd say 4.5 stars...sorry no pics this time. We had the brisket, portabella mushroom, smoked chicken and 1/3 rib, with mac n cheese and coleslaw and we shared our order. Though the entire evening Allysa continued to impress us with her "above" 5 star service, Thank You so much Allysa.
