I usual go here late at night. 1 out of 20 times have I gotten bad food and service and I went in mid day. My food is always great customer service in the drive thru is excellent. I just don't go during the day time. Lesson learned. read more

Now as a door dasher Im FORCED to wait in the drive thru line because captain jays employees cannot handle the pressure inside. Um. Ok. How about locking your door!? And when us delivery drivers show up you can simply let us in. Therefore eliminating the crowds inside your establishment. Im currently in line in the NON MOVING DRIVE THRU. It doesn't matter what reasons you give. You are slow. Maybe you shouldn't have a drive thru since clearly you can't keep up with that either. Maybe take the help from the government. This establishment is open until 12am. I called in a To-go order at 9:50 and they told me the food will be ready in 20 minutes, however once I got to the restaurant (15 minutes later) they refused to let me in; their reasoning for refusing to let me enter was that their dinning area and front register closed at 10. They told me I had to wait in the backed up drive through line in order to get my food. When I ordered over the phone no one disclosed this information. Unfortunately this rule wasn't set for all customers because they allowed DoorDashers and their friends inside. Overall this establishment was very unprofessional and I will not be coming back. Drive through order took 20 minutes for 10 tenders, large Mac & cheese and 1 lb potato salad (which turned out to be 2 small condiment containers for $4.99, said that was the same. If I could give them less than a star I would. My wife and I always mention wanting to try this place out ever since it was built in our neighborhood and tonight was that night that we finally went for it. Firstly, pulling up to the drive thru menu and literally sitting there for 5 minutes before finally asking into the speaker "Do we order here or at the window!?", wasn't sure since I hadn't been there before. Everything looks run down already for an establishment that hasn't been put in that long ago so wasn't sure if everything was working properly or not. So I start to place my order and then I ask about the 15 piece wing dings that are being advertised on a BIG POSTER in their window for the cost of 9.99...regular priced on the menu 13.99, person on the other end says no they're 13.99. Well, yer window says they should be 9.99? "That sign must be old" is the response so to not cause anymore of a ruckus, I just order something else albeit planning on getting the wing dings the entire time just because of the price their window was advertising. 2 cars ahead of me and as I'm watching the time it took 40 minutes total from placing my order to getting my food. Had to peek into the window a few times to see if anything was even going on inside, could've sworn it was abandoned in there had I not known otherwise. Finally see my bags come to the "prep" counter and what happens next? Oh, the girl working the window is busy on a cell phone call so I see containers very slowly being placed one by one into 2 separate bags. Anyway, the food was atrocious, by the pictures I've provided everything was dry. I feel like the shrimp I had was rubbed down with sandpaper and the cheese sticks were worse. I kept repeating "fried hard" with my order, and when the cashier didnt repeat it I knew I was not going to get crispy wings, yet allllll the wings were room temp, a.k.a. cold and old smh. I went through the drive through, and waited 30 minutes just for the lady to tell me she can't take my get my order because it's Postmates (which I have picked up before in the drive through). How can someone that came in 20 minutes after me get their food first, ahhh because they had part of mine, they said the poppers were good but they didn't order them, they were mine. This location needs new management pronto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Placed order (100 wings) at 2p on last Saturday (gave my name & cell#). I was told it would b ready in one hour. Called back at 3p, told it would b ready in 25 minutes. Called at 3:30p, told it was ready. Get to the restaurant, can't enter bcuz the doors are locked. Call to inquire, I was told I had to go thru drive thru. Sat in drive thru 30 mins b4 I got to window. Get to window, cashier verifies order, takes my money and she walks away. I'm thinking she getting my order, right. She doesn't come back. A different cashier comes to the window. I inquire about my order, she tells me it's cooking. WTF!?!?! The manager comes to window and tells me that they had a lot of orders & sold my chicken bcuz I didn't show up & they were looking for me. THAT'S BULLS***!!! Why didn't u call my cell, since u got the number, if u were looking for me. I WAS PISSED, FRUSTRATED & MAD AS H***!! The manager apologized and offered a free 2 Liter. I DON'T WANT NO DA** POP! I released all of that to say, I'm never going back to that location!
