Also, they could have drained the fish a bit longer after pulling the filets from the (canola) oil, as the second filet was still dripping a bit of oil. My server was very attentive. Once she seated me, she immediately brought a glass of water and a sample of the Mango Lasi, a blend of mango and yoghurt. Just the thing to cut the heat if your palate gets a little overwhelmed by some of the spicier dishes. The owners did a GREAT job with the physical plant. The room is bright and clean and bears ZERO resemblance to the old Jack's Country Restaurant. This room is warm and inviting. Bollywood programs play on the TV, adding to the atmosphere. There are a lot of dishes on the menu beyond my basic fish and chips, but if my lunch was any indication, it will all be good. I'm eager to make a return visit!
