We recently stopped in the 2nd loop location to get dinner. The cashier had a attitude when I asked for an extra tarter sauce for the 6 pcs of fish we had just bought and was only given 2. She rolled her eyes at us and huffed like we were a bother. Let me say this, we were the only one in the restaurant and no one in the drive through, so it was not like they were busy or something. We got home to enjoy our 2 dinners or so we thought, ALL OF THE MEAL WAS NASTY AND HAD TO BE THROWN AWAY! The fish had NO TASTE and was dry like it was from the day before and left out on the counter, even though we were in the restaurant at 5pm. The fries were so hard and once again left over that they had to be thrown away as well. A huge waste of $22.00 when everything had to be throw away and we had to make dinner at home. 2nd Loop Rd across street from car wash on corner. Quick fish on the go. This might be 2nd time I ever eaten at a Capt D's was surpringly good for low cost. The pic doesn't show it justice but my 2 fish meal was hot and ready. The breading was just enough so it was 80% fish 20% breading. Cole slaw good, macaroni is upgraded side by $1 cheesy. Between ordering and waiting was about 10 minutes so bit long but I appreciated that food was hot and not rushed meal. We ordered from inside so if waiting in drive thru could seem like long wait. To be completely fair we used coupons that took $2 off ea meal so paid about $12 for both, very affordable for quick fish. read more

Waited in the drive through 10 plus minutes and nobody ever came to the speaker. Went to the window where I could see on employee serving the car in front of me after waiting another 10 minutes. Then girl came to the window with red dyed hair and a bad attitude told her I waited a long time and wanted to order now. This place gets two stars because the food is delicious. Great food should however come with great service. I was there twice this week (visiting from New York). Both times the bathroom was unkept and the facility didn't smell clean. Today in particular I visited and wanted ketchup on my fish sandwich. The head chef tells the sue chef "no don't put ketchup on her sandwich. We don't do that". Then tells the cashier to tell me "they can't do that". THEN asks if everything is to my liking. Everything was really good. we got the family pack of Fish. Pretty good value for 4 people. Added an extra family side a baked potato for the wifey and 4 drinks. We were more than happy and satisfied with the amount of food we got. Staff was accommodating to our requests and friendly as well. Certainly will come back to this location. read more

This place is outrageous, the male worker in the back was loud and cursing and continued to make my food while scratching his head. The lady who was taking my order continued to tell him to be quiet and he didn't listen to her and continued to get louder. My food wasn't even right, why was my broccoli cold and fries cold.Instead of all that talking they were doing they couldve been making sure my food was hot. The front counter lady was making sure her customers were straight even when she had so much to do. I came here Monday the 9th and I don't think I ever want to come here again. My aunt brought food from here and she said her experience was horrible. I wrote this review in her own words "My experience at this place is really unsanitary. I overheard workers talking about how the kitchen behind the fryers haven't been clean in ages and build up mold. I saw critters for myself when I set and ate my food. The manager name was Darrin Dent. I told him my concerns and shrub the issue off. The place is outdated and the ceiling is falling down. It has a bad smell like sewer. And the seats are old and rip apart. I also over heard they haven't had a inspection in over a year. This came straight from the manager mouth Darren Dent. I should of took pictures of how horrible it was. This business should not be open to the public. Whoever is in charge of this establishment should be a shame of their self. I use to enjoy eating food from here when I was younger but now it's not what it use too. Especially for me to spend almost $50 on food in unsanitary environment." Made the mistake of having a quick lunch at this place. Ordered the fried oyster plate, never seen or tasted anything like this. The oysters were so over cooked they were a black dot in hard batter. The first one I tried had a very off taste, bitter. Not wanting to jump up and spit food in the trash can I finished what I had put in my mouth. Really thought I was going to be sick. I threw the entire meal away and contacted the company head quarters by way of email. I did receive a call from the DM shortly after. He apologized and offered to replace the meal. Couple hours later I think I have food poisoning. Very sick. Stay far away from this location as possible. read more

Not bad for a fast food chain but their prices have steadily increased over time so it's easy to drop more than 10 dollars for one meal. They do still offer cheaper entrees for under 10 but those are pretty much all fried. They've revamped their menus and now offer a broiled selection that rivals entrees from Red Lobster (though that's not difficult to do with their rapidly declining quality, but I digress). It's worth going here if you want mostly fried seafood in a very casual environment or for take-out. read more

I can't believe I am rating a fast food fish joint, but here it is. The fish meals here are incredible! You may not know me, but I'm extremely cautious of fish and chicken joints. The $5.00 meal I could compare to "ANY" fish place regardless of the price. I could take the fish out of the box, plate it and say I caught it! In the past I have eaten at excellent fish houses at the beach and the like paying a ton of money and said it was ok. Here, meal under $7.00 including tea is awesome! I placed my order on the internet and was told it would be ready in around 30 minutes. I arrived on time and it was almost ready. When we get home and start looking at what we got, we find that the order is fresh, hot and tasty but i was missing 1 French Fry and an order of shrimp but that is not really important when I had such a great dinner also the crew that works there are really great and friendly. read more

Perfect seafood restaurant. I loved their menu we ordered combo plates with grilled shrimp and blackened fish. The fish tasted fresh and juicy but the rice is really hard and no flavor to it. Must visit if you're a seafood lover but be cautious with the rice it really hard. read more
