My biggest gripe this time (and cause for the review is the sweet potatoe fries. You are charged an up charge to change from regular fries to sweet potatoe fries but the portion is ridiculous. The chicken tenders are very small for the price but the quality was great and they tasted good. I love hot sauce with my chicken but all they had was nuclear so I had to pass. I stopped eating them after getting several that tasted of nothing but salt. This was our first time visiting a Zaxby's. I mentioned this to the cashier because we were studying the menu for a bit and the response I got was "Will this be for here or to go?" Writing restaurant reviews it's not my thing, it's my son's. But this was just too good to pass up. It came with dressing, but I ate mine without. Hubby ordered a steak burger with bacon with fries. The burger had a really good grilled flavor and the patty had a crust around the edges. It was delicious! Freddy's is going to be my 'burger place'. The shoestring fries were very good. I don't usually like shoestring fries but they do them right. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders with honey mustard dipping sauce with onion rings. I wasn't impressed with the chicken or the honey mustard. I ended up using bbq dipping sauce, which I never do, but it tasted the best with the chicken tenders The onion rings were pretty good. They offer several different dipping sauces. The ranch was the best one. None of the others worked well with any of the food we ordered. Hubby had root beer to drink and said it tasted good. The unsweetened tea was refreshing on a hot day.
