I decided last minute to come here. Wanted something different in my diet, so I ordered the white fish and a skewer of shrimp with coleslaw and broccoli as my sides. The clientele seemed nice enough. The young man who took my order was knowledgeable about the menu. I haven't been to this one in probably 9 years. I used the restroom while I waited for my order. Small, outdated, bur used able with updated tp, soap, and paper towel holder. My only complaint is that it's right on the corner, so it makes getting in and out rather difficult as there is soooooo much traffic on Murfreesboro/Bell Rd. and there isn't a whole lot of parking space. This location is so trash. I ordered from them on Uber Eats at 7:20. At 8:11 my order cancelled because "the store closed" however they don't close until 9:00. They Uber Eats window don't close until 8:30. From 7:20 to 8:10 it said "preparing ordering." Couldn't have been preparing anything because it shouldn't have been cancelled. You telling me y'all cooked the food and said "welp nvm". Sounds like the employees are not working and waiting to hit cancel on delivery orders within the certain window of time. Needs better management because this is ridiculous. Horrible. They reached out to me on Google reviews apologizing told me to go to the website , fill out a feedback form, saying that they would reach out to me to make things right. It's all a front. I went back....naturally, the same young lady who rolled her eyes at me previously...before I walked out without ordering, was behind the counter. She had the same I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE, GTFO attitude as exhibited before. I guess she is sleeping with the manager or must be related to someone in order to keep her position. Went in on a Friday evening. The front of the restaurant is under some type of construction. The manager was busy with drive thru and lobby. She was borderline rude/pushy. The rest of the staff, though younger, were working very hard and were polite. They also had obvious respect for the manager. The wait was slightly longer than expected but the food was good and fresh. In the dining area, it was neat but there was a very strong restroom odor. Overall, I would return, but instead for drive thru or carry out until the odor issue is addressed in the dining area. read more

I ordered my food at the drive-through took 15 to 20 minutes to receive my order. Let's just say after the long wait I was not satisfied with The meal that I received. It literally look like somebody played in it before serving it. So I go inside talk to the manager and show them what I received she gives me one piece of fish that looks like it was played in as well and says sorry. If this is all you have to serve the best thing I would suggest is you say that you out of this flounder and serve something else don't serve it looking like trash. Don't get me wrong, I love Captain D's especially the fries and the rice that comes with the tilapia, but not only was the cashier eating while behind the counter with her mask down, the guy in the back that was handling the food was not wearing a mask at all. It wasn't till right before I got my food when I noticed this and I wasn't sure what to do, and I didn't to be rude, which is why I was reluctant to express my concern, but it wasn't until I got my food when I realized I should have spoken up about the concern. Haven't been to a captain d`s in years. My wife convinced me to try it again. Went in and ordered about 15-17 dollars worth of food. I went to get condiments while we were waiting, when a small cockroach crawled out of the condiment bar. I captured it under a paper cup, being careful not to alert the other guests. I notified the first staff member I saw, who didn't seem to care. When I asked for a refund, he responded with, "but your food is in the window". I asked to see the manager on duty, who took my card, and told me a refund would take 1-2 days to process. Fine. It's been a week, and still no refund. This is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I may be willing to give captain ds another shot one day, but never this one. Tldr; it's dirty and the staff doesn't care. read more

We were visiting from Ohio. Our daughters had never been to Captain D's, although we had bragged about how much better they were than LJS. We sure picked the right location to visit! The food was definitely better than LJS, BUT, the most impressive thing was the SERVICE! Iretha, WE LOVE YOU!! This is the only fast-food seafood chain we have ever visited that offers at-the-table service. This is the most disrespectful place I've ever been to. The so call manager hung up on me after politely advising her, Tiffany, of my incorrect order. She wanted me to drive back which would have taken an hour to pick up fries that was left out. I wouldn't have made a big deal however I've had issues several times from this location. This is money and time and this person didn't want to own up to it. No empathy or descent customer service. It was as if it was my fault they didn't complete there obligations. Customer Service 101 is definitely needed at this location. There are several training classes offered for this area. I don't have time to write these things however you can see how strongly I feel about this location. It needs to close. I'm in sales and customer service.
