The kayak was more comfortable than we expected & we stayed out for four hours. I have attached a photo of our route with some pictures. They loaned us a waterproof phone case which was essential. We had a pretty significant downpour which added excitement. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to the Keys. The price is right and Brian & his assistant really set us up well. Remember to call if they turn you away at the gate. I would also call a day ahead to let them know when you are coming.

The captain and crew were very friendly and energetic throughout the experience, which helped calm my nerves. They were also very patient and friendly and taught me how to put on my fins, my mask, etc. The area we went to was great! The water was absolutely gorgeous and clear, but the creatures under the water were a little mundane towards the end of the hour. I saw some cool fish like parrot fish, and a few nurse sharks, but near the end, it got a little repetitive. Luckily, we only spent around an hour in that area so it was a very short-lived boredom. When we went to the sandbar, I'll admit it wasn't the best. The water was really dirty (brownish) and there wasn't much sandbar to walk on. However, the lily pad attached to the boat was super relaxing to chill on, and we had some stingrays and nurse sharks pass us by. Overall, a great experience with a lovely crew. I wish the sandbar was a bit better, and that the snorkeling spot had a little more diversity in fish, but overall I would definitely recommend

We had were not sure what we wanted to do and Kendall found a way to make every one of our desires come true. We sailed, we snorkeled, we had an off the beaten path experience, we didn't see another tourist the entire time on the water, we had a sail boat picnic, wine and cheese sunset on the harbor, THE REAL KEY WEST TOUR of local spots, live music, back alley gems and characters. One anecdote that only demonstrates Kendall's attention to details and the experience was when he stopped the tour to have palm frond bird woven right in front of us in the middle of our tour. We not only had a great time, we made fast friends and we will most certainly use Kendall for all our future Key experiences. There is so much left to do and he knows all!!! Thank you so much Kendall and Crew!!! Blew our minds and made our stay the most memorable vacation I have ever had!!! He took us to the best spot for snorkeling in those conditions. We did a combo tour and when we got to the sandbar he knew the right people to get our boat into a great spot and had all the gear we could want for a fun afternoon!
