In that time, I've had the opportunity to work with a few of the PTs there and have had great experiences the ENTIRE way through. They work on a rotational basis so you might have two appointments per week and work with different folks both times... I enjoy this as you get a little something different from everyone BUT as it's open gym floor plan, they all collaborate and are attentive, seeing your progress no matter who you are scheduled to work with. I still have a bit of a road ahead but feel like I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. TBH, I'm torn emotionally because these folks have been a huge part of my mental and emotional well-being as much as they have helped me physically. I'm actually motivated to go see them after a rough day at home or work because they are so much fun to work with. Don't think it's all fun & games because you do have to WORK and sometimes that's not entirely easy, but they all will help to find a way to push/stretch you SAFELY and ensure your progress is continuous. I hate that this happened and still replay that moment in my mind over and over but meeting Kevin, Jessica, Kasey and all of the very, very kind admin staff has been a highlight of this complete situation. Last - over the course of the last several months, I've heard SEVERAL conversations about continuing education and upskilling, including dry needling which I feel has helped me gain additional relief. It's also comforting to know how passionate they are invested in CE. They all truly love their roles. I didn't see many reviews for PTs when I started looking and wanted to draw attention to this crew. They are absolutely a phenomenal team. Note: they are now UH.

Cleveland Sports Institute seems to be the umbrella organization for Parisi Speed School (a running…read more/ speed school) and Cuyahoga Crossfit. This is about Cuy Crossfit. The actual gym is amazing and I couldn't ask for more. They have a flat track along the side for the running school, along the other side are machines, pull up bars and in between is this plastic turf. At first I hated the turf, it hurt my hands and is very rough but along the way I realized that it provides great traction and cushion for many of the workouts. The trainers (I've gone through three of them in OnRamp) are all doing very well considering the OnRamp class sizes. They had a Groupon, so I'm not sure if this is indicitive of a regular OnRamp, just to throw that out there. They work on form, though not as much as the other two Crossfits that I've been to in the Cleveland area. There are always some people with poor form...and if I can see that they have poor form, that's pretty bad. Personally I've found them to be helpful and attentive though. There are a wide variety of workouts going over gymnastic moves, weight moves, etc., all in a training function. Overall, pretty happy with Cuy Crossfit.

It is a very well designed concept- you work out at one of 9 stations for 3 minutes in succession. This means there are no set start times, but you still get the advantages of a directed workout. The owner was on site and was super welcoming and was encouraging without being overbearing. My partner works out probably ten times per week, and she enjoyed it. I am super out of shape and also enjoyed it, so it is definitely great regardless of fitness level. The owner explained the workouts and was very helpful, but I never felt stupid or out of place. At the end of the class, the owner explained the membership options. He was very clear and open and didn't pressure us. In a sea of fitness options, 9Round stands out and is a great option.

A friend asked me to try out the 5:30am, early morning Adult Body Conditioning class with her (they have several other times as well but this time is the only one I couldn't make an excuse for!) and ever since then I have been HOOKED! Not only does this class give me more energy throughout my day and more confidence in my body, it does wonders for the mind and spirit! Somehow... I wake up 4-5x's per week and drive 20 minutes to what I refer to as 'my therapy'. The workouts are never the same and the trainers are amazing; working closely with each person on perfecting our form for the best possible results. Everyone is beyond supportive and motivating and as a bonus, I have made so many new friends here. Finding this gym has ignited a fire within me and I now look forward to starting my day on the right foot.... I would like a single class option too instead of it only being available for a monthly fee that way I could have added it to my weekday workouts. INDOOR TENNIS (1/5 rating) -- I recently visited in January 2025 with a new friend. It is $36 to rent a court for an hour. Upon entering, I realized that the facility needs some serious repair, mainly the roof that is tearing apart. The roof of the indoor tennis courts is degrading fast. Pieces of the roof are falling off unto the court surfaces. Before I arrived to play tennis, my friend told me that she asked a tennis staff member if the facility plans to update and fix the room but the staff member said no. That is surprising. For safety reasons, the roof should be fixed. Management doesn't appear to care about the tennis facility and it is unclear why this is the case. Perhaps they focus all their attention on their indoor soccer facility, who knows!
