Nice big skating rink, but Saturdays are so crowded, it's really unsafe. They might want to consider limiting how many people can enter. Also kids skating while literally watching videos on their phone, super unsafe. read more

For Saturday skate it wasn't that busy but the music that was played was inappropriate for the crowd that was there. A lot of suggestive music was played for a family crowd. There was a smell of something burning from the concession area was overwhelming. The bathrooms are dirty and broken as well. Everything is dated. read more

We have visited Brunswick skate station two times so far. The first time was for a birthday party and the second time was for a Girl Scout event. Both events were absolutely amazing. the girls had an amazing time and we love how they mix up just free skate with games we will definitely be returning in the future read more

Okay me and my freinds and partner went to the skate station and at the end of the night when it starts closing I get a complaint that I was being watched and I was doing things wrong there are no rules about being able to kiss your partner or anything so I don't get the issue? If its a big deal and a problem then make it a rule all I did all night was hold my boyfriend hand and gave him a little peck on his cheek idk if anyone else had this issue to but this was my problem being there.. read more

Not a good skate station, the staff is extremely rude and arrogant. The bathrooms are so bad and they won't fix it, there isn't even ac so all the skaters are smelly and sweaty. The food is terrible, usually still frozen, other times EXPIRED. Gross place and I don't recommend read more

Brunswick Skate State promised the nostalgia of those classic rink days, but boy, did it disappoint. The place has seen better days - and I'm pretty sure those were back in the 80s. The musty smell hits you the second you walk in, and the carpets are a questionable shade of brown that I can't quite place. read more

It was an older placer. the floor was a kinda rough and it was super dirty my wheels were black at the end. You'd think I was skating outside and was just letting it build up but no this was just after one session. I use them constantly at my local rink in Lorain and they never come out like that. it was empty so it was good for practice(Thursday adult skate) they played organ music I didn't mind I was just there to practice. The atmosphere was inviting and the people that go here regularly are very kind but that's really all it had going for it. read more

Me and my girlfriend went there last Friday and had a blast! Near the ski-ball, me and my girlfriend watched a movie but we did get yelled at by one of the workers for having a device out and disturbing the peace which I totally understand. The bathroom stalls and floor are very clean, me and my girlfriend had a little picnic on the bathroom floor. The establishment is very well taken care of, the skate floor is very clean *aggressive toe drags* whatever that means. Overall it is a great place to hang out. read more

We have visited Brunswick skate station four times now. All of those times have been within the last three months, we really enjoy the experience each time. We have gone during the day on the weekend, on a Saturday night, and weekday evenings. The Saturday night skate session was definitely the coolest! It reminds me of when I was young and enjoyed skating. No it's my daughter who who is new to skating by quickly learning. They have disco lights and play really good music making it a fun weekend evening experience! We did notice it was quite busy so there was a bit of a wait to get in and you do you have to wait outside. We were freezing, but the line didn't take too long. There was all kinds of people there from young couples, kids, older adults, etc. if you don't have your own skates, you can rent rollerblades or skates, right there. My kids love going here and I would definitely recommend it! read more

I made this account just to warn people!!!! Not a very good rink, very dirty floor, majority of the staff are nice except a select few, one of the owners will get in your child's face, yell at them and put his finger in their face, I believe his name is Bruce. The older lady at the snack bar is very rude and unpleasant. The way they treat customers here is ABSOLUTELY horrible. If I could give half a star I would, the only thing saving them from zero stars in my book are SOME of the staff. All around would not recommend and will not be returning. read more

Thats how I roll!!!! Eheh!!!! We hit BSS when the weather turns to crap to groove on REALLY BAD pop music. Then we hit on all the single moms that bring their 6 kids to burn off some of the mornings Captn' Crunch. Just being a snot, they have open skate for a few hours Saturdays and Sundays and I always have my rollerblades in my car so 'natch we hit BSS to get a sweat on....It's like 1977 inside which is kinda cool!! The rink is a classic and down to earth family friendly type of rink! Everyone who works here is great and the overall feel of the rink is fantastic. The schedule is good and they host a fantastic roller derby youth team along with some competitive skaters, one who is on the national team! The food prices and games are all reasonably priced. Went to a birthday party and it was a disaster !!! Couldn't order food until 2:00. The girl didn't even start my hot dogs for 20 minutes after I ordered them !! Then I ordered two more and 10 minutes later she tells me they don't have any more buns !! We got two corn dogs instead and they were still frozen so they had to do two more. They definitely didn't have enough help behind the counter !!! read more

this is the best rink i have ever been to! the staff is amazing, so fun so nice and always there to help you if you have a question. i come every saturday with my kids and the have a blast. 10/10 recommend. i also enjoy seeing the artistic roller skaters after sessions practice! it's exciting to watch read more

I love this place. It's not overly crowded, if you ask for a song to be played, they'll do their best, and they play games during open skates. Also, I'm a teacher and asked if I could bring my students, who are special needs, and it was not a problem. Janet, who owns the rink, was super accommodating and helpful and let my students skate and offered aids for those who needed it, like pads. Also, they host derby practices and even painted the floor to show track lines so cones or tape wouldn't have to be put up and taken down. read more

We went on a blizzard of a night. It was a Saturday. The DJ had songs in que and wasn't really paying much attention to the music - just kind of walking around. Only had one light above the track on and never turned on any of the many others. I felt he was doing the bare minimum and didn't want to be there - and didn't care if we were either.
