All delicious! Why order your favorite dishes on a plate when you can have it on top of pizza? Gourmet slices are less then $5 and one is enough for me. The ppl who work here are friendly. A lot of customers seem like regulars cuz the staff chat and joke around with them when they walk in. On my last visit, the staff were entertained by a minor car accident in the parking lot. The only reason I don't go to Capri all the time is the bread. Why do they serve those hard triangles instead of real NY traditional Italian bread? Other than that, the service is usually good. Wow! One of the best pizzaria I've been in U.S hands down! The variety of pies offer is amazing and the flavour always consistent. You can see that they take pride on what they do and strive for the best all the time. Beside the pizza itself they also serve great soups and unbelievable flavor burgers. I would drive back 45min again for their food any day of the week. The staff is very kind and friendly, you can see that they work very well together as a team to make sure you are having a great experience. When in ossining, give them a shot. Very good pizza!! Crust was appropriately crispy and chewy. Staff was very friendly. Nice decor; exposed brick wall, cool industrial looking bathroom (and it was clean). It still has the integrity of a classic pizza parlor, but with a modern vibe. They even allowed us to add toppings on pizza that were not available on menu. Taste was very good. Few changes to make it a five star: Replace those old plastic red cups. Glass would be a better option. Add a mirror in the bathroom. Do I have pepperoni in my teeth? I don't know. Pizza is such a subjective point of contention with Everyone. Everybody knows how pizza is *supposed* to taste. Me? I think the most important ingredient is the sauce and I think this is where Capri fails. A bit too much cheese, not quite the right tasting sauce & soft slices. Result is a too salty pizza with droopy slices that are soft to the bite. I prefer a thinner much crispier crust with more (and likely a different) sauce. After eating their pizza for a long time, mainly because pizza options are few here, I've finally given up on theirs. So, I wouldn't say avoid Capri on pizza alone. Lots of other good options but your mileage may vary with the pizza. read more

I'm a big fan of this place. Their pizza is certainly the best that I've had in Westchester County and it is consistently packed with people picking up take-out orders on any Friday or Saturday night. The dinner menu is pretty good, they make a solid chicken marsala and chicken franchese but keep your eyes open for when they have specials like the cutlet stuffed with ricotta and romano. I haven't seen it on the menu in a while but when they have it it's great. I'd give this place 5 stars except for their pesky habit of short-changing you on the portions when you order out. On more than one occasion I've ordered take-out from them only to find that they were stingy with the portion sizes. But that's never a problem when you dine in. I drove 15 minutes just to get this pizza and it was horrible. I purchased a lasagna slice and there was a weird smell coming from the bag but I didn't pay it any attention. When I got home I took a bite from the pizza and the meat on the slice had a VERY unpleasant taste. I've been to the Capri in Tarrytown and fell in love with their lasagna slice. Came to visit New York after two years and back to this restaurant. Food was excellent! The clams oregano was superb! Love the broccoli rabe and tried my friends pasta dishes. I give this place 2 stars because I walk in and there is no one at he counter (they were sitting in a booth) then gets up and asks for my order... fine I understand if it's slow.... all I ask for is garlic knots and soup (which we all know is pre-made). Although I do not live in Ossining personally, I am the luckiest guy on earth to find my girlfriend... because she in turn introduced me to Capri Pizza & Pasta. =) Ill make this short and sweet. My girlfriend never eats the crust... she eats Capris pizza crust. =) Last night ordered Pizza and they had a new driver working. He ends up giving me a call after about 50 min asking where in Tarrytown I lived. Disheartening, considering we where in Ossining at the time. It takes alot to get me irritated so i didnt care really but was a little annoyed that my pizza would probably be cold by the time he arrived. After getting off the phone with the driver i received a call from the restaurant asking if there driver had called. I explained to them where he was through the gentleman apologizing to me about the pizza being late. The gentleman then SAID not OFFERED that he was going to send me out a new pizza nice and hot and to please accept his apologize. Anyone else (if they asked at all) would have ASKED if i wanted a new pizza and since i don`t normally care too much i would have just told him to forget about it and to just have the driver head over with what he had but, instead they took the reins, told me they where sending one out and said sorry. By far the best pizza in the area! They have a great variety of slices, one of my favorites is the fried calamari slice with cherry peppers and a side of sauce. I have ordered from here a few times. They got my order wrong almost every single time and still charged me. One time there was a hair in my salad so I called them to let them know. They blamed it on the kitchen and told me " don't worry, we'll get you next time". I ordered a spinach pin wheel and got a pepperoni pin wheel instead. I ordered a salad with chicken and they forgot the chicken but charged me.
