If your looking for a new hair dresser, I would highly recommend Christina at Capri! She owns and runs the shop herself and always does a fantastic job on my hair. She is a sweetheart and kicks ass at what she does best, hair! I came in with some major hair issues and she totally took on the challenge. After 2 appointments my hair was looking much better! Once she had things fixed up, I decided I wanted to switch it up and she was all for it! I told her what I though I wanted. Thankfully she didn't just do it! She explained the pros, cons, and offered suggestions. She listened to more than my words but was able to identify exactly what I wanted when I clearly didn't know. I wanted a new look. Tired of the same old hairstyle. Tied in a ponytail or put into a bun. I looked tired and old! Well I tried a Groupon ad for this salon. Mostly because it was close by. What a pleasant surprise to find Susan! She took so much time to inspect my hair, asked what I was looking for in a style and if I wanted highlights! I did mention to her that I may be interested in brightening up my face with some highlights. We talked about colors. Then she began to work her magic! Susan explained what she was doing every step of the way. When I had my new highlights, the haircut began! She was like wizard! My hair was flying all over! She measured, then cut, combed, and cut, parted my hair this way and that to make sure the cut was even and perfect! Then she used the blow dryer and then she styled it with the curling iron all the while showing me how to style and curl it . After she spent 2 1/2 hours with me....... I was a new woman! Having absolutely no idea where to get a haircut, I took a chance and called Capri Hair salon for a same-day appointment. Julie was my hair stylist and I definitely recommend her after seeing the results. She has only been at this studio for a month, but has 16 years of stylist experience in the area. The haircut was $35 which included a wash and blow-dry/style. Breakdown for my recommendation: 1) Julie was very knowledgeable and took the time to really analyze my hair. She also asked me very helpful questions to find out what I was looking for. 2) The salon is very clean and modern. A great location with free parking in the Windsor Town green. 3) Overall, Julie was really nice and I had a pleasant experience. She also guarantees her cuts, so if you need something adjusted within a week, she will do it. A great bonus since you always feel a little nervous seeing someone new work on your hair. read more

I had a manicure and pedicure with Christine after needing to find someone to replace my long term manicurist who had moved out of the county. Based on the Yelp reviews, and convenient location I decided to try Capri. Christine was wonderful. She did a nice job on both the mani and pedi. She has a good selections of colors too. It was a pleasure to sit and talk with here. She was very friendly and professional. And her prices are reasonable and competitive. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the set up for the pedicure was awkward and a little uncomfortable. They do not have at the large massage chairs, which is fine, but Christine had to have my leg in her lap and I was sitting lower than her which put some stress on the back of my knees. If you need a manicurist I highly recommend her. read more

Christina has been doing my nails (pink and white acrylics) for more than a year now and I absolutely love the job she does. She is also very friendly and makes the time pass by with some good laughs and enjoyable conversation. A couple of months ago I needed a hair cut and color and decided to give Christina a try and I was very happy with the results. The color was perfect and I got lots of compliments on the new cut. I have decided to make this my permanent hair and nail salon. I would recommend this shop to anyone who either wants to try something new or would like to try some fabulous nails. If I could give more stars I would. I've been looking for hair stylist for years now. I had gone from a brown head to a blonde a couple years ago. First hair dresser made it yellow. Then I needed a touch up, decided to try another hair dresser who turned my head ORANGE. I literally wanted to cry and hide under a rock. THIRD hairdresser made the orange and yellow go away but in turn made my hair platinum, almost white with no high lights in return making me look like a plastic bimbo. I wasn't happy with the way I looked for so long that I didn't think I would find anyone to fix the disaster that was my hair. That is until I met Cari. She is literally a miracle worker and she obviously knows her stuff. She rejuvenated my dried, fake looking hair and made it gorgeous and all for a reasonable price! I went in for a cut and my first ever professional hair dye. When I came to Christine my hair was BLACK and she actually was able to make it a chocolate brown with some golden blonde at the bottom. So pretty! She was great. She was very easy to talk to and she only does what you want her to do. I was recommended by a friend and I loved the visit. Not to mention the prices are very competitive and cheap. I paid $80 dollars for an ombre style hair color. I think cuts are $ 40. I loved it! Will be going back soon. read more

Worst haircut I've ever gotten by Cari! I left the salon in tears! She butched my hair! I asked for a trim and walked out of their looking like a little boy! I even told her I didn't want to go to short, but she didn't listen to what I even wanted! I would of said something but she had my back to the mirror the entire time! I'll NEVER go back there!!! I hate my hair and now can't style it until it grows out!!! The haircut isn't even even, I have some hairs way longer than others! Horrible experience!!! Don't make the same mistake I did! Susan is not an experienced hair stylist. She needs training (especially with curly hair) and I personally think she needs better people skills. I was not satisfied with the cut she gave me, because she didn't do what I had asked for and what we talked about together when I arrived (this was my first experience at Capri). She also snipped away with a lack of confidence on how it was going to turn out, reassuring me that I could return as many times as I needed for "tweaking." I thought that was odd. She said I would probably leave and discover little areas that needed attention and to just come back. I did one time, and then when I called the second time to ask her if she could make it right somehow (if she couldn't do it right on my hair, then she should have offered compensation), she never returned my call. Very unprofessional. I was a little nervous when she said "I think I may have cut this piece a little short" and "I hope you like your bangs" (nervously). If you have curly hair, do not go to Susan. She lacks confidence in her abilities and it shows. Fortunately, my cut wasn't too short.....so I will go back to my other stylist, who is less convenient to travel to and more expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. read more
