My only complaint about this place is the seating. Most of the seating is OK there are some wooden chairs that are little hard especially if you have a bad back but other than that, it's really comfortable there. They have some nice tables. The service is excellent, friendly and prompt my friend and I go there often and I also order their takeout is pretty good. It usually takes about 30 minutes for Pizza to arrive. The food is very good and I really enjoy their pizza so I would recommend this place. read more

Review for take away pizza only. It's excellent. The provolone cheese makes all the difference for taste, texture, and how greasy it isn't. We tried a plain cheese, a meat, and a Mediterranean style pizza. They were all really good. Crust is on point. Consistent - Quality of Food and Quality of Service! The inside seating area is clean and typical "cafeteria" style, nothing fancy. We have ordered online and in person. Each time the pizza and sandwiches were perfect as ordered. The ingredients seem fresh and well assembled/cooked. My favorite sandwich, is the tuna melt. My favorite pizza...I can't pick just one sorry :) I was really pleasantly surprised by the Hawaiian - it was SO GOOD. I love the pepperonis they use. We have also ordered delivery - the drivers have been friendly/professionals. Things were delivered fresh, hot and delicious! The parking area is decent, we've never had an issue with finding parking. This is easy to find and access. You ever think about a place and feel exhausted? That's how I feel about this place. It started over a month ago. Ordered a pizza, wings and a soda. Pizza wasn't too bad, but what I ordered in wings and what I got were two different things. They texted me the next day and asked how was it. I explained the details of the situation and they apologized. So they mentioned that they would send me a gift card. Waited 2 weeks and nothing happened. I mentioned this to them and all they could say was they didn't get their card back. So I basically said that I was done and hung up. Left a Google review and they got in contact with me again. Asked if I would like a gift card for twice the amount, said sure. I received something cause apparently it wasn't a gift card, but a credit card cause I tried to use it on the site and it didn't recognize it. That's because you have to go to the establishment to activate it and I don't have transportation. They contacted me two weeks later asking about the gift card and had to explain that it was a credit card they gave me and it didn't. It was a back and forth, and I wasn't getting anywhere. So I just became done with this place. So definitely exhausted read more

So I've given these guys a good rating for their pizza, the pizza is actually quite good. Ordered a "specialty" salad which was a "grilled chicken Caesar". Friendly staff but what a disappointment. Salad smaller than my hand, pre packaged croutons and not sure how old the chicken is but it's ice cold. For $10 I would think it might be a little better but damn... First thing is Chad the owner and his attitude towards his great long time customers. Seems he has issues with his products he turns out and writes his customers off if they have problems with it. Ordered an Italian tonight which had little to no meat and all the veggies were just thriwn in to the roll m. I basically received a veggie roll with 1 tomato slice cut in half, no pickles, and 2 paper thin ham slices cut in quarters to make it look like more. I contacted Chad who we have known for years and he basically said that maybe I should find another place that would better meet my needs. This is not the first issue we have had with him over the last 2 years. Pizzas with crappy dough, little meat on the pizza. Nachos which only come with sparse slivers of chicken on them, you can't get hamburger on them because his staff claim they can't do so because the hamburger will not cook. What! And the list goes on. We have given him a ton of our business which only has fattened his wallet and belly. Find another pizza place they are a dime a dozen that take care of the products they turn out and who support their loyal customers. For what you receive he is overpriced. FYI he owns Al's Pizza in Skowhegan as well as in Farmingdale. Turnover of employees in the Waterville location appears to a lot and poorly trained. read more

Our go to for takeout pizza in Waterville. Friendly counter service and the pizza is consistently good, made just as we ordered. There's always a good selection of add-on's" available to consider when we get there., e.g., drinks, desert, chips, etc. Call ahead to pick up or dine in. I tried to like this pizza place. I have heard from so many people at how good it is. And I guess they are known for delicious Whoopie pies. I have had lunch 4 times and have only thought it was good 1 of those times. I've tried pizza, toasted sandwich, cold subs, and yes the Whoopie pies. I will say the service is quick and friendly, and prices are decent. But the food is almost flavorless. The pizza tastes bland, it tastes like it needs more seasoning. I get that I'm in Waterville Maine and not Boston's north end but to call the sandwich I just paid $11 bucks for an Italian sandwich is a disgrace. it has 2 slices of polish ham cut in half and 2 slices of American cheese cut in half. it also has 2 full tomato slices cut in half and 2 full slices of pickle cut thinly the long way. what I joke. I am MUCH happier with the bag of UTZ potato chips that I got there. I will never ever ever go back. I love Cappza's and want to give it more stars but it just doesn't "WOW" me like when I first started visiting. They have really awesome sauce but almost every time I order extra sauce (which does cost extra!) I never get it with my order. The prices are alright but some are on the higher side. We'll usually get the family deal which gives us everything we'll need for a night in. The staff are usually friendly and attentive. becoming frustrated with the Waterville location, I have stopped in several times and they never have pizza available to buy by the slice. I stopped by at 6:30pm it says they are open until 9:00pm and they already had their pizza by the slice machine down for the night. I haven't been able to find too many decent pizza places in the Waterville area--it's been pretty disappointing. I liked Cappza's, though. Their crust isn't thin--it's of medium thickness (comparable to that of Pizza Hut). We ordered a large mediterranean pizza to eat in the restaurant, and were pretty impressed with the ingredients. Each slice held up pretty well, too (my biggest pizza pet peeve is when the dough isn't cooked right and the sauce-to-cheese ratio is off and all the toppings fall off as soon as you take a bite). They also had different flavors of whoopie pies you could buy as your dessert, and they looked really good. I haven't tried delivery with them yet, but plan to in the future. I'd recommend them for a quick lunch or dinner spot. read more

Used to be a favorite of ours however now we drive a bit further and go to the The Korner Store. Cappza's in my opinion has suffered the worst scenario for any business where the price goes up while quality falls. First of all the pizzas are smaller and contain less ingredients (sauce, cheese and toppings). We have to ask for extra sauce every time we order and pay extra. I'd say at least 50% of the time or more we do not even get the extra sauce. Even cheap ingredients like mushrooms are scarce. I think we're done with Cappzas. It's too bad they used to be great and they always supported area functions and High Schools so we wanted to give back. They just don't compare to the Korner Store now though. read more

I cannot thank Chad and his crew at Cappza's enough for the help they gave my family and I during a tough time. My grandfather just finished radiation and chemo and was placed in a Waterville Nursing Home for Rehab - he didn't have much of an appetite for food, never mind nursing home food. I e-mailed Chad and he set up deliveries for my grandfather for some tasty treats! He was also very accommodating when I had to cancel some orders at the last minute when my grandfather's health turned for the worse and he stopped eating all together. Chad has been thoughtful, patient and kind when I feel so far away and unable to help my grandfather and family. I cannot say enough to all of you - support your local businesses!! They are the ones that will step in and help a community or family in need!! Thank you Chad - your place will be where I eat when I come home to visit! read more

I'm not huge on pizza but I do like the crust at Cappza's. It's not too thick not too thin, just right. I also like that it's not super greasy.
